A light, airy collection of poems that breathe and dance with notable music and fluidity. Kestenbaum's poems are contemplative and playful, making for an enjoyable read.
Stuart Kestenbaum writes the kind of poetry that makes me happy to be alive, privileged to read the likes of this man. I didn't realize it until AFTER I read it, but the author lost a brother in the 9/11 tragedy. This, in part, was his response. No anger or blame, just humanity and appreciation.
wonderful poetry! Stu is the Director of Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Deer Isle, ME. Read this book after I attended a workshop there. He wrote this book after his brother died on 9/11.
