They travel through a fantastical world of Fruit Forests, Muffin Mountains, and Milky Rivers. Along the way, they meet other original characters who teach them about friendship and inclusion. When they finally reach the Pancake Palace and meet the Pancake Princess, who is selfishly hiding the only syrup left in the land, they must convince her that sharing and making friends is much better than being alone with her riches.

I just got this book in the mail and I had to open it and read it right away! The art work is so adorable and fluffy! Vira is a talented artist. Tori and Vira created this story together about Bumble Pea and Koala Pear and their quest to find more syrup for their pancakes. It’s such a cute and feel good story and I love how they combined animals and fruit together! Do you think they found more syrup for their pancakes?? This is a story I will definitely read to my future children! I cannot wait to read about the next adventure of Bumble Pea and Koala Pear!

This book is a must read for the littles in your life. The illustrations are amazing. There is so much to see on each page. Vira is an outstanding artist. The story is fun and whimsical. The friends and their journey to find syrup was enjoyed by my 9 and 7 year old. (I enjoyed that they let me read to them!!) The writing almost feels like a song as you read the words. It is a perfect bedtime story or anytime story! I highly recommend this book!
