I was trained to fight. I held the title of undefeated in the seedy underbelly of that world. And minus the precarious situation that arose within our club, life was otherwise good. Until the day I saw her huddled in the corner of the basement where my latest bout was held, her wide eyes searching the crowd until they collided with mine. I didn’t care she belonged to the Savage Reapers. I didn’t listen when I’d been told to stay away from her, to mind my own business. I didn’t heed the warnings. Because of my selfish need to protect her, the war between our clubs was once again ignited, a battle that had ceased decades ago. As a result, disturbing secrets would be revealed, testing the resolve of every member of the Knights Corruption.
I'm an indie author who grew up with a love of reading and a very active imagination, never putting pen to paper, or fingers to keyboard until 2013.
I typically write romantic suspense, as I love stories with some twists and turns. I also love my HEA, although the road to get there is quite the journey.
Lincoln was the second book in the Knights Corruption MC - Next Generation series by S Nelson. The series was a spin off from the original Knights Corruption MC. Although not necessary to have read the original series, it made more sense because I had.
We met Lincoln aka Linc previously as the brother to Riley (book one, Kaden) and son to Stone and Addie (book two original series, Stone). He was a patched member of the MC and an underground fighter. He had fixated on a girl at his fights that was with a rival MC and looked to be abused. His protective nature kicked in.
Maddie was eighteen and was living a life of hell on earth. She was a prisoner to an abusive MC. For those with rape and abuse triggers, this book is not for you as Nelson spared no expense with detail.
Nelson had set the stage in previous books so Lincoln opened with how Linc saved Maddie. The story then progressed by revealing the inner layers of both Linc and Maddie while they waited for retaliation. While I liked Lincoln, there were way too many gaps that I needed filled in. The story will continue as the series progresses but I needed more substance in this book - it felt incomplete as if I were missing the last few chapters. And there were still several major issues (not just teasers but primary storylines) from the previous book that still weren’t resolved or even forwarded. I needed more substance from those as well - again, too many unanswered questions for primary plot lines.
All in all, I enjoyed the characters and the storyline as it built - I just needed more conclusion now versus the next book.
The one was really good. It delt with some pretty heavy things. I need to take a break before I start the next book. This one kind of weight my heart down.
Great second book. I am really enjoying this series. I love the new generation and that we still get glimpses of the old generation. Lincoln save Maddie from reapers hell but not before a lot of damage was done. She has a lot of emotional and physical issues she have to deal with. I love how we see Maddie open up progressively Throughout the read. The story picks up right where Kaden’s left off. There is still drama going on with Stone too. Once Maddie and Lincoln take the next step their relationship blooms from there. This is definitely becoming one of my favorite series. I cannot wait for Ace or Brick’s Book!
This is the second book in the next generation series and what a read it is! We got glimpses of Maddie in the first book but now we get her story and how she ended up where she did. I have to say her story is heartbreaking and hard to read at times, I loved Lincoln, he saw Maddie when no one else did and didn’t hesitate to step in and help her.
I was hooked from the first page and spat out at the end! Another fabulous read from this author, can’t wait for Ace’s book next.
**** ARC received from author in exchange for an honest review ***
5 STARS The Fighter with a Heart..........Knights corruption MC Second generation.
I received an advance ARC of this book for my honest opinion to be given for a review. With that being said, I definitely loved this book. Lincoln, is the son of Stone and Addy from the first generation of the KCMC. We saw in the Kaden's book where Lincoln, has become obsessed with a new girl being dragged along to the MMA fights with the vile club of the Reaper's. Yes we are now diving into a full on war to start up with the Reaper's MC due to Lincoln's concern for this young girl he doesn't even know her name at that point. Lincoln's character in this book is a definite swoon worthy alpha. We know he is an amazing fighter being trained by Jagger himself, so he has the hot fighter side and the sweet tender heart of wanting to save a girl he doesn't even know. We start this insane ride where Lincoln wants to help this girl, who clearly is being held against her will with the Reapers. He is repeatedly warned to not get involved in any business regarding the Reapers. The fighter inside him is to strong to turn from this girl who shows up to most of his fights being pulled around and used by the Reaper's president Griller. We watch how an intense connection forms between Lincoln and his mystery girl from the start. Now in this book we learn that the new girl that has caught the eye of our beloved fighter is known as Maddie. Maddie's character is a young 18 year old from Oklahoma, with a strict religious upbringing. We learn Maddie has lost both her parents and is traveling to California in search of an Aunt she doesn't really know since she was not associated with due to her lifestyle of being gay. After arriving in California she meets a guy named Cody but his MC name is Pike. She naively joins Pike at his MC party because she has never met or seen a guy like Pike before and is amazed he shows an interest in her. Maddie, is a sweet and innocent young girl who has no clue what an MC is or what their lifestyle is like, so she willingly follows along to a party that soon becomes her worst nightmare. We find out she has been kept for 8 months against her will at the Reapers compound by Griller the president. This story has a very similar feel to it like Sully's from the first generation. Maddie, who was thrust into this horrible situation not knowing what was going to happen to her and poor Sully who was born into that awful lifestyle have many similarities in this story. Maddie is like Sully in many ways of being able to adapt to the horrible things being done to her and still holding her innocence in many ways after the fact. Maddie's character is mentally, physically, and sexually abused by every member of the Reapers. Griller, the president is her main keeper but he like to inflict as much pain on poor Maddie, so he lets others have turns of violent acts against her also. Maddie, has a fighter side to her also and has endured many hardships in the last 8 months of being with them and she hopes for someone to help her seeing she can't escape on her own. We see her character try to make justifications for Pike's behavior against her. Yes Pike has shown Maddie some kindness at times when he can but he doesn't truly help her until a huge fight breaks out against the KC and the Reapers at one of Lincoln's fights. We see Pike do what can only be seen as a final act of kindness for Maddie. Now we follow along on the similar ride of how Lincoln takes Maddie to the KCMC life. Although this story is very similar to Merik and Sully's story, one difference is that Lincoln did what he did because he had a instant connection to Maddie and generally wants to save her. We follow how Maddie is taken to another MC and isn't sure who is to be trusted and if Lincoln is someone who pretends to be good but will turn out like what she has already been thrust upon. Maddie, has her struggles of how to deal with what happened to her and how her feelings for Lincoln are confusing at best. We watch how this new generation seems to have a more caring sensitive side to them when it comes to interacting with the likes of Maddie. This book has a more softer approach to it then the first generations books, with that being said we do start to see how the new generation is finally seeing what the first's have gone and done in their time. As we see this story moves at a faster pace for Lincoln and Maddie's struggles for a new life and now having a war starting back up between the two rival MC's. I definitely recommend this book if you are a fan of the the first generations books and if you love some suspense and a little romance thrown in for a wild MC world, this is a must read then. I honestly can't wait to see the next book on Ace and where we go from here in this new war against the Reapers. so till then get ready for a wild ride with the fighter known as Lincoln.
This was decent. Although I enjoy seeing all these characters again, I don't think they necessarily live up to the OG generation even close, understandably so though. The OG gen was more grittier and all books were unique. This book was too much like Marek's I guess, which is a hard book and character to live up to. And though I love Marek, I feel like what happened in that series needs to stay there. There was too much of rehashing what happened with Sully or Marek in this one, which is unlike Marek to even say anything. It all just came off as repetitive.
I really liked Lincoln, but it's a bit hard to take what him or any of the kids in his generation do or say seriously because of how young and innocent-like they are, especially when they are in an MC. Maddy's character also annoyed me a bit. I felt like what she would say is too formal and cheesy. I get that she grew up in a strict background and then she had the whole thing with the Reapers happen, but her character came off very two-dimensional and bland. I also think she recovered way too quick. So with them together, I just didn't really feel any chemistry or real love between them.
Overall, this was just an okay book. I think my favorite parts were with Stone and Ace, so I'm excited for Ace's book. Also, no OW/OM drama which is always nice.
Another great book by S. Nelson!! I cannot tell you how much I'm loving this Next Generation Series! I love that we still get glimpse of the 1st generation and that it's from a different point of view. We get to see them in a different light now since the main focus is them as parents. Yes they're still MC badasses, but they're also fathers and doing everything they can to protect their children. It's pretty cool.
Maddie has had it rough. There's no other way to put it. Lincoln saves her when she is being held captive by a rival MC, but she has endured a lot of physical and mental trauma. But she's strong and she's a fighter. You can't help but to love Lincoln and stay in his corner, fighting for him. Because he saw Maddie when no one else did. He saw that she was in pain and alone, and stopped at nothing, no matter the consequences, to free her. After finally being free, Maddie begins to heal and slowly opens her heart up to Lincoln. Lincoln is caring, sensitive, and patient with her though, so she realizes that even though is in a MC, he's a great guy and worth taking a chance on.
If you love fast paced books with suspense, romance, sexy yet caring alpha men, and strong female leads, this is the book for you! Great read!!!
Once I started Lincoln that was it, bye bye world and hello Knights Corruption 😏 I was instantly hooked as I knew I would be, and I was so sad when my kindle said I only have one minute left in the book. I just wanted to keep on reading more and more. As a reader the thing I love about S. Nelson is that she has you captivated as soon as you read the first line.
Lincoln is stone and addy son from the first generation. I first got a look at Lincoln and maddie in kadens book when they had a brief run in with the reapers MC.
I absolutely loved Lincoln and Maddie’s relationship. He was fiercely protective of her and helped her fine herself again after everything she had endured.
I just want to read more of them I cannot wait for the next book I’m soooo ready!!
If you have read s nelsons book before then you know going in you will NOT be disappointed. 100% recommended and worth reading 😊
Lincoln is Stone’s son and every time he fights in the cage, he sees the Reapers - another MC that treat everyone especially women badly. He also sees HER, and has vowed that some how he will save her, even if he goes against the Prez’s orders😬
Maddie was lured to the Reapers and is with him against her will😢 That is until Lincoln saves her, but the consequences are going to catch up with them and soon❣️
I devoured this book as I was intrigued about finding out more about Maddie and Lincoln and now I can’t wait to find out what happens next and luckily we don’t have to wait long as Ace should be on our kindles by July...woohoo🥳 I received an advanced copy which I voluntarily leave my honest review😍
Lincoln by S. Nelson is book Two in the Knights Corruption MC - Next Generation. This is the story of Lincoln and Maddie. This can be a standalone book I thought, but I have been reading the previous series and this one the 'Next Generation' which just adds to my love of this book. This is a page turning read for me. Lincoln saves Maddie who got caught in a bad situation but of course it opens them up to more danger and drama. This author makes you want more from the secondary characters so she just doesn't have you wanting more from the main ones. Love this book and this author's writing! Hope to read more from this author soon.
This is the 2nd book in the next generation series and is Linc and Maddie’s story. Linc is a fighter and he knows that their rival MC Reapers treat everyone very badly and this is where he find Maddie and rescues her. This is a beautifully written story which is an emotional roller coaster journey throughout, as well as being filled with action, secrets, drama, heartbreak, danger and love with realistic characters and plot. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I cannot wait to read more in this fascinating series.
I received an ARC of Lincoln and it did not disappoint. I loved the first generation series and this next generation series is just as good. In Lincoln we get to find out Maddie’s story - and it is heartbreaking. This book picks up where Kaden left off and I love the fact that all the characters are interwoven and continue to build as the series continues. Can’t wait for Ace’s story to be released!
WOW!! I just loved Lincoln - Book 2 of Knights of Corruption MC - Next Generation!! Lincoln, who is Stone's son is the club fighter. During a fight one night, he sets his eyes on Maddie, who he sees is with the club's #1 enemy the Savage Reapers gang. Those eyes are calling to him. He knows his actions will cause problems between the two clubs but his gut is telling him that Maddie needs to be saved. The chemistry between these two is off the charts and Sandra sure knows how to bring on the heat!! I've read all of Sandra Nelson's Knight's of Corruption series and can't wait to read the rest!! You are going to love Lincoln!!!
As usual S. Nelson does not disappoint! Love her books and the emotion behind the story lines! The first generation would suck you in and not let you let go until the end and the same is being done with the second generation. Love the way they are all intertwined. Excellent writing!
I received an ARC of Lincoln and I finished it in a day! Another great addition to an amazing series that you just can't put down! You will love Linc and Maddie as much as the other couples and you will crave the next book in the series! *****Always 5 stars with this MC! *****
From the moment I started reading this book I could not put it down. I have read all of her books and Lincoln and Maddie’s story did not disappoint. I highly recommend this book.
Lincoln fights in a cage and is the son of Stone from the mc. He sees Maddie and is determined to protect her no matter the cost. Maddie was tricked into being with the Reapers mc. She has endured much abuse and wants a way out. The consequences of being together may cost the couple almost everything they love but they will risk it all. Another good read for this series.
S. Nelson did it agian she takes you into KCMC world with Lincoln and Maddies Story of a boy willing to put himself and club at risk of war with their enemies the Savage Reapers to save a girl he doesn't even know, but is drawn to who they are abusing and holding agianst her will. A dark tragic beautiful read! I couldnt put it down !
I read the original series and thought the next generation wasn't going to be that good, but boy was I wrong! I love it! Especially Linc who has a huge heart. The book was great and has many subplots that leave you guessing. The only part I do not like is the end, it leaves you wanting more! I can't wait for the next one to come out!
I read Marek (the first book in the Knights Corruption MC series) not that long ago, and was happy to see many references to the history between Marek and Sully and their connection to the Reapers. Lincoln intrigued me when I read Kaden, so I had to read his story too. What I loved most about this book is not only did I get to know Lincoln and Maddie, but I also got to know Brick and Ace better. I also love how Lincoln stood up for what he wanted - Maddie! And, wow, what an ending!
This next generation series of the Knights of Corruption Is almost better than the elder Generation! Of course I'm old school so I have to stay wit h the old school and be loyal but I love these kids, these young men and they're strong women! Ms Nelson is a incredible writer I love her 😍
Lincoln (Knights of Corruption MC Series-Next Generation
Well, S Nelson has done it to us again...good thing I only have to sit out here on the cliff until I finish the review of Lincoln, Book 2 of the Knights of Corruption because Ave, Book 3 is available at all the usual retailers. This is the story of Lincoln, son of Stone and Adelaide and Maddie an innocent held captive by the Savage Reapers. Their story is reminiscent of Marek and Sully. The Next Generation members had been made aware of the Savage Reapers MC but did not know who the Knights of Corruption MC had been or how truly evil the Savage Reapers MC were and still are. Lincoln is the MC underground fighter with Jagger as his trainer and is undefeated. He spots Maddie at one of his fights and just knows she is being held against her will. What will he do? Just going to have to read the continuing story. Oh yeah, the continuing story...Stone is not happy with Kaden and Riley (saw that one coming) and Addy is not happy with Stone. The story will take y'all on a rollercoaster ride you cannot get off of, try and you will end up with whiplash. The sexy bits will keep you reading late into the night and just might melt your ereader. Thank you S. Nelson for sharing your old and young alpha bikers and their kickass ladies with us. Five Star Series!
Wow this second generation has a lot going on!! This book was such an emotionally charged read for me. There were times tissues were used. Maddie the poor soul has been through so much. The horror she was subjected to will make you cringe. Lincoln makes a choice that not only saves her, but quite possibly puts them and the club in danger. An old feud that has been long ago laid to rest is starting to reignite. Watching these two wade through the waters was interesting. A) Because With everything Maddie has been through she does not know what to think. I mean seriously anyone would have the same thoughts she has if they were placed her position. and B) Watching Lincoln come to terms with his actual feelings. I can not wait for the next book. The way this one ended was a HFN not a HEA. I need to know what is going to happen. S. Nelson has the un canny ability to give you just enough if the story, and leave you wanting more.
The second book in the Knights Corruption NextGen series and I couldn't put it down. Lincoln is the son of Stone and Addy from the original series, and he is the absolute perfect combination of both of them. He's as intense and strong as his father, but as sweet and kind and loving and stubborn as his mother. So when he spots Maddie at one of his underground fights and recognizes that the girl needs saving, nothing stops him from this quest. Not even an order from his President because the girl he can't stop thinking about belongs to nonother than their rival club, The Reapers. I absolutely adored Lincoln's character and the perfect way that S. Nelson writes him. He's so much Stone and Addy it makes him perfectly himself. I loved that he doesn't back down from his morals, even though facing the possible rath of his club scares him. I loved that when he realizes he's messed up with Maddie, he doesn't shy away from making that right. I really recommend starting from the beginning of this series, but if you don't want to go back to the beginning of the Knights Corruption, you must begin with Kaden from this series. Lots of twists and turns you don't want to miss.
I'm liking the series overall since they are quick reads. I haven't read the first generation Knights Corruption because I only heard of these a week ago and I want to get caught up for the new release later this month that's part of the second generation. I'm trying to go in order so I read Kaden first and now Lincoln. I am enjoying them enough to keep going and see where the characters and the story line goes. I like that each book follows a different couple within the group and though I'm not always a fan of books that switch perspective each chapter between 2 characters, I feel this author has improved since her earlier series and I'm looking forward to the next book, Ace to see him and Chelsea's story move forward from what has gone on in the last 2 books from other character's perspectives.
I should have quit while I was ahead. I said I wouldn’t read this book after she screwed the pooch with Kaden. I’ve never read any of the original series, just Kaden and now Lincoln. And for real this time, I’m done with this author. Finish one story before moving on to the next one. You lose readers that way. Additionally, a brutal rape victim is NOT going to ask for sex within days of escaping torture. It’s not just unrealistic and an unhealthy portrayal of what is a very real problem, it’s disgusting. And it contributes to mental health issues that you wrote it like it was a good thing. Because “he was respecting her.”
An action-filled MC romance that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Linc, a member of the KCMC and an underground fighter, has his world turned upside down when Maddie is thrust into his life. The tensions between the rival gangs - the Knights Corruption & the Savage Reapers - are heating up again as the next generation of KCMC members are coming into their own. I'm really enjoying the interaction between the older members and the younger generation of the Knights Corruption. I can't wait for the next one!!
