Almost three years ago now, the world as we all knew it ended.
But my life didn’t.
When news came about of the virus that would eventually take out billions, I hopped on my bike and headed into the mountains of Montana to hide. That’s where I’ve been ever since, alone in this abandoned town.
Until one day, from seemingly out of nowhere, a beautiful man literally stumbled outside my doorstep. He was weak, vulnerable, and needed protection. Needed shelter. He was a victim of horrible experiments, imprisoned by the same “people” that caused the virus to begin with, forced to endure agony I could never fathom.
Until now.
He needed me to keep him safe.
I needed him to remember that life is still worth living.
In the end, he and I will prove that love is the only thing left that matters.

**Update** ALL "Curse" books will be on audio; Invisible and Inevitable are already available, Insatiable is in production and should be available by year's end, and Invincible will be available a couple of months after release. **

Sariah Skye physically resides with her family in southern Minnesota but mentally everyone is pretty sure she’s from Uranus. She’s a typical quirky Aquarian that swears too much, loves wine, shiny objects, and hates sarcasm and never, ever uses it.
She also loves Star Trek, Doctor Who, ‘90s reruns, and Imagine Dragons (probably a little too much).
In addition to all this oddity she’s an unprofessional obsessive fangirl, loves reading, hates anything domestic, and loves her pretty pink straitjacket. Oh, and she loves to chat with her unwilling kidnappees—err, “fans”, online at various places, like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram .Or drop her an email at sariahskyeauthor@gmail.com or private message her on Facebook.
She also has a private group called the Shenanigan Squad for anyone who might possibly want to follow her works, progress, or just share a silly meme war (though she really doesn’t understand why anyone is there, she loves them all nevertheless). If you want to join, you’re more than welcome:

You can also sign up for her newsletter, and maybe she’ll actually remember to send one out one of these days: http://eepurl.com/cqSJWD

together always

This was interesting to read after going through a pandemic. We’ll still in one. This is what happens when the end of the world happens and you find your mate in the middle of it all. I loved the premise of this. I love how this is the beginning of a world that We usually find ourselves in the middle left. This was a great explanation of how it all began. Writing was good the smexy was hawt and the world building was nice can’t wait to see what happens next

4.5* Sheltered by Sariah Skye is the first in a new MM series called The End, and the Beginning. I loved this story - dystopian, end of the world / building it again, survivor stories are my thing and this hit all of those buttons. I'm not a huge fan of sci fi, and was glad it was kept to a minimum. This has a HFN ending, with no major cliffhangers. Would recommend.

Zeke left for the wilderness as soon as society started breaking down and has kept to himself for over 2 years. This book is told from his POV. Niam escaped from one of the labs where he was being held and experimented on, and ran right in to Zeke's small abandoned town where Zeke took him in. I really enjoyed these two main characters and the supporting characters. I don't feel like I got to know Niam very well but hope his character is more filled out in the next story.

Some action, medium - higher heat levels, MM dystopian romance, conspiracy theories.

I loved this sci-fi romance! Set in a post apocalyptic world, due to a pandemic disease. Sariah wrote this book sometime ago, but so fitting for our time now! Zeke, a man living in the mountains that did not succumb to the disease, has a pretty good life there. Grows his own food, hunts, and scrounges anything else he might need. He sees the odd person once in awhile, but most are not friendly, so he stays clear most of the time until Niam. Niam stumbles onto his area road one day being pursued by an otherworldly looking craft. Something in Zeke tells him to help Niam and this leads to opening up all kinds of feelings. There are lots of steamy scenes and we find out what is going on the world, why the pandemic occurred, and who is involved . Can't wait for the next book for the rest of the answers! Yes, I recommend this book. This book is not erotic romance as marked.

The premise for this book is interesting. A new disease kills off most civilization and those left behind are altered in ways, naturally and with a little help from experimentation from unknown beings. It's an interesting explanation for omegaverse. I haven't read an mpreg/omegaverse book that explained why and how males could get pregnant. This book did that. It was a unique sci-fi story.

With that being said, there is a lot of sex in this book. A lot. The first few chapters were pretty good because it set the story up, and it was intriguing. But as the story progressed, and the MCs continued to have loads and loads of sex, I started to lose interest. I ended up skimming over the sex scenes, because it was just too much. I think the book would have been much more interesting and engaging if it didn't focus so much on sex.

Since the contagion, Zeke lived on his own in a small Montana town. His only companion was a an occasional crow. When Zeke sees a man running down the road begging for help, he goes against everything he has learned and takes him in.

Niam has escaped from a hellish existence. Tortured and experimented on, he’s not sure he can go any further. The men are drawn to each other so strongly, neither understands it.

This was an interesting book. Didn’t go where I expected it to at all. Not a lot of background but enough to move the story forward. Niam was a very sympathetic character, easy to like. Zeke came across as the stronger of the two, but I’m not sure he was. Many surprises. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.

I received an arc of this book.

This book is amazingly well written. So it starts off with giving you an update of what happened and where Zeke is now. Then Niam shows up and Zeke has the urge to help him and protect. Why does Niam need protection? What is wrong with Niam? Zeke can tell something is wrong but wants to be able to help him any way he can. Also Zeke is attracted to Niam. So will Niam accept his help? With everything that is going on these two still manage to help each other. With all these questions you do get answers. I got sucked in this story after the first chapter and could not out the book down. I can never get into a dystopian book, but this story just flowed and developed with the characters. I loved every word and cannot wait to read the next book.

I didn't know what to expect with this one as I was warned it was a bit different - MM/dystopian/sci fi/omegaverse - and I'm like, no idea what omegaverse is, but I like Sariah Skye's books so I'll give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised. It took me a few chapters to get into it. The story started with a little scene setting. But once I got into it I was hooked. After most of the world has been taken out by a virus, Niam lands on Zeke's doorstep and Zeke feels a strong desire to protect him. Neither of them know where these feelings have come from or what they mean. This was quite a different genre for me and I really enjoyed it. Sexy scenes, which sometimes I can find to be a bit much, really worked for this book. Can't wait for the next book from Niam's point of view.

This is the first book in a new series, and I found it interesting and well written. Ezekiel and Niam are both great characters. This book focuses mostly on how Niam comes into Zeke's life, as Zeke is tucked away in a small mountain town after an illness sweeps across Earth, killing most of the population. Nial and Zeke are immediately drawn together, and they basically can't stop having sex. That part gets a little repetitive, but it happens to build our understanding of things that will come later. And when we move to the second part of the story, which is action packed and exciting, I couldn't look away. Total page-turner! I enjoyed this first part of the bigger story, and I can't wait for the next book. I am excited to see Nial and Zeke work with their new friends to save the world.

Sheltered is an interesting dystopian read by Sariah Skye. At first, I was weary, as this isn't the best time to read a dystopian story, but I am glad I persisted.

The story is well done, with an interesting world and intriguing characters. It's a story of diseases, aliens, mates, and more. There is a good amount of suspense, as the reader slowly learns what's going on.

The story is one of two gay men who meet when Zeke helps save Niam. Their story is a rollercoaster ride for sure, full of action, danger, and romance. The writing is wonderful and story telling is great. I am definitely impressed with the writing.

Overall, Sarah Skye's Sheltered is a satisfying dystopian story. It's well worth a read next time you're in the mood for an end of the world survival story.

I absolutely loved Sheltered!
It sucked me in from the very first page and it would not release me until I got to the end of the story.
Where I was left wanting and needing more of Zeke and Niam’s story, which I definitely can not wait until Destined is here!
Sariah Skye is an amazing talented story weaver, she knows how to completely hook her readers and take them on a wild exciting ride whether it be RH, MF or MM, she just knows how to ensnare her readers and keep them coming back for more!
So it’s most definitely going to be a big HECK FREAKIN YEAH I do recommend Sheltered!!
Because I loved it and I can honestly guarantee you will too!

What a fun, satisfying read during these current times. What's not to like? After all there's adventure, something has taken over the world, deception, secrets, love, possible allies, and many, many questions. At the center is Zeke, a muscular guy that used to work as a bouncer. He managed to somehow escape the craziness when the aliens arrived by staying high up in the country in a cabin. So imagine his shock one day when a terrified, underfed young man stumbles into his yard desperate for help. So ends his one on one existence, and opens an entirely new world. Will.it be welcome,.or a complete disaster? You'll have to read to find out 😉

I've always LOVED Omegaverse stories and seeing Sariah write one made me wanna hop on the metaphorical train and read it ASAP! Holy was I not disappointed!

I must say since this is an apocalyptic type story, it is a strange time to be reading it. But nevertheless makes the story a tad more relatable, and even more exciting, since, you know, we're sitting at home and all. Kinda makes me want to follow Zeke's example and find my own little mountain to claim.

Zeke and Niam are wonderful characters and I love the chemistry between them! That ending left me begging for more, and I absolutely cannot wait for Destined to come out! Add this to your TBR now people!

Ok so I'm not normally into dystopian or omega verse but I really liked this book. It grabbed me by the end of chapter one and the steamy sex and adventure had me hooked ;) and hot damn there was A LOT of it!! Zeke has been hiding out in the mountains for years surviving a plague; Niam is on the run from experimentations and stumbles into Zekes path. And Zeke needs to help. There is adventure and secrets to uncover wh makes the story engaging and fun. And throughout it there is so much steamy MM sexiness;) The author writes beautifully and the story has a HFN that definitely has me wanting the next book ASAP.

This was really good. It's the first book I've read in an omegaverse and of this genre so I wasn't sure I would enjoy it much. I loved it. The story grabbed me from the start and I loved every minute of it. If you are open minded, like sci-fi and apocalyptic stories, you should give this a try.

On a side note, I'm told all similarities to the current occurrences are purely coincidental since this book was mostly written before covid19. Really, it didn't bother me at all...the book isn't about a virus, it's a sci-fi romance.

This is the first book in The End, And The Beginning Series. What an intriguing book the writing was good. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters likeable. I do wish that some of the sex had been cut and replaced with story. The characters were developed and thought out. Niam and Zeke are the MC’s of this book. An HFN story ending with a cliffhanger that I can recommend. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

Sheltered by Sariah Skye is the first book of the series The End And The Beginning. This Dystopian novel mixes fascinating sci-fi with sweet and sexy romance. The characters are interesting and the new world created on these pages stole my attention and now I need to know more about it all. Great world building, well written storyline, fantastic characters... I am looking forward to further books that continue this journey. Loved it!

A thoughtful book for me considering what is going on in the world. Zeke has been surviving on his own for awhile and in a moment his world changed. Niam is on the run and is rescued by Zeke. And boy does he have a story to tell. Both of them do to an extent. What they experience in this one is crazy and fun and exciting.
I loved how this was written and I loved both characters!
I am looking forward to more books by this author!!

I love the Omegaverse, MM or MF, or whatever other combination. This was a fabulous entry into the genre.

I love the post-apocalyptic thing going on in here, and all the various strengths that start to show up. I like how Zeke was so instantly protective over Niam. Even if he wouldn't normally have left anyone near him, Zeke was willing to have Niam there.

I can't wait to see more about these guys.

I'm clearly in the minority but for me this was all sex and no substance. I'm ok reading a sexy story if it has substance behind it but for me this was like 2 horny guys at the end of the world and when anything real happened it was quickly followed by sex just to stunt any actual progression. I'm hoping the other half of the book figured itself out but I just can't continue.

The book is based on a very interesting idea of the universe and the world building is very well done, sucking the reader into the reality created with very well crafted words! That's just step one though, because then comes interesting plot and characters that are the cherry on the cake. Really good book and opening of a series!

Not going to spoil the story because that would wreck it for you in my opinion. It's a great story and a must read. Great caracters as usual. Need more on the story of Zeke and Niam for sure. It's a story that I read in one sitting so it's a true page turner for me and I'm sure it's for you as well. A must read!

From start to end this had me spellbound. I know the timing of this book is probably not the best, but I loved it so much. The connection between the main characters was heartwarming and just amazing. Twists and turns in the plot were great and I can't wait for the next book in the story!

Currently DNFing at 30%.

The idea of the story is a good one and I was initially excited, but there's just so much sex and so little story at this point that I'm bored. Maybe I'll pick it up again sometime to see if I can soldier on but for now - meh.
