Oh wow. I absolutely loved this story. I was actually ranting at my kindle while reading it.
My heart broke for Scorch when I read he lost his wife. He couldn’t see a way out. Many years later everything he believed or thought has changed. Now he must fight and protect for what he believes in.
As soon as I started this I knew I wasn’t putting it down until the last page.
Brilliantly written. I’m definitely gonna be reading more from this author in the future.

Well, now I have to go back and read a lot more by this author! Yes, I read Cyclone of Chaos back at the beginning of July but right after I started binge reading Devil’s Riot MC and I totally forgot to come tell you guys … WOW! It’s a quick, powerful, edge of your seat story that if you are an MC romance junkie, you do not want to miss out on. Do with that info what you will … :)

OMG I love E.C. Land Cyclone of Chaos! Man I was reading it and screaming at the screen because what was going on.
Scorch thinks he has lost the love of his life. So he goes on living with the pain and hurt. He is a mean man but then all of that changes when he finds out what he thought all these years is not true. Then he becomes a determined man and that is when all hell breaks lose.
This is one story that will keep you on a roller coaster ride and you will enjoy it!

This author has totally brought me to her side with MC. Holy moly!
The chemistry this author portrays between Scorch and Emery is insane and explosive. These characters are amazing and will keep your attention the whole way through. MCs have become one of my tropes, and this one did not disappoint AT ALL!!

I'm not a big fan of second-chance romance books but Cyclone of Chaos was really enjoyable. Emery and Samuel's story had all the right ingredients, steam, drama and violence. While I was reading it, I serious think that I had a brain freeze, every time Samuel's road name, Scorch, appeared, for some reason I was reading "Crotch" and I had to mentally correct myself...

Ok I’ll be totally honest. I’ve read, or started reading, several of the Royal Bastards MC books and have found that I don’t really like all of them. Leave it to E.C. Land to be one of the authors whose book I definitely did like! Cyclone of Chaos is a quick, read it in a couple of hours, exciting and totally sexy read. Scorch or Samuel and Emory are first loves who are torn apart for 10 years only to be thrown back together. The situation that split them up, and also the reason they’re together again, is messed up, but watching them work out their differences is so worth all the trouble. Enjoyed getting to know these fascinating characters and the quick glimpse of DRMC’s Stoney...one of my all time favorites...ramped this book up even more. I’m hoping that the ending of this book means we have even more stories featuring these amazing characters coming up, can’t wait to find out! Great book, Ms. Land never lets us down!

Another shorter book in the Royal Bastards MC but it was pretty good. Still can't understand why she never contacted him herself in ten years because the reason she gave doesn't make sense...at least to me.
Ten years ago Ghoul saved Scorch's (Samuel) life. This was before Scorch became part of the club. Now he's the president of one of the charters. He was going to end his own life because his wife had just been killed. Good thing he didn't because he has seen a ghost with a small little boy.

I have been looking forward to reading this book after meeting Scorch in Stoney's Property. But when actually reading the book I became sad. The book made me want to know Scorch and Emery so much more. I have so many questions. Scorch and Emery got married on her birthday and right after their wedding, an obsessed stalker shots Emery making Scorch think she was killed. Ten years later he finds out not only is she alive but he has a son. The threat against Emery comes back making Emery's father sends her and their son Stone back to Scorch. In the ten years that they have been apart, Scorch becomes a shell of himself closing all emotions from everyone while Emery becomes a badass with her sister. I wanted to love this book but it was too short leaving me to want more.

But the threat that came all those years ago is back and knows Emerys still alive and now its time for Scorch to get there revenge. Well written with suspense, twists, lust, love and an emotional ride that has your heart breaking and being stapled back together again!

Scorch/Samuel is definitely in for an unexpected and crazy journey. I can't give too much away but man was not expecting what happens.
10 years and so much happens. Samuel has become Scorch and he is empty hearted. He loves the ladies but has his limits. Until a phone call brings feelings to the heart and he finds out everything he thought is not even close.
I can't even begin to tell you how good this book is and that ending...I'm in a state of shock. I need that next story or what's left of my sanity won't be able to deal. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

This is my first read from this author and I enjoyed it. What first comes to mind after reading this story is the gritty way the story comes across (and that is a good thing, the grit). This story reads exactly how I would imagine an MC alpha would feel and act after everything that happened to Scorch. He had every right to be a %&@, his family failed him. I also really loved (with out spoilers) how Scorch had to work back to his HEA. The action and violence was right on par with the plot and the story had a great balance of action, grit, heat and family. I will be reading more from this author in the future.

Scorch has been a tortured soul for all this while and when he learns Emery is still alive and a secret more than her supposed death has been kept from him he is FURIOUS! They have ALOT to work out. Their journey is full of adventure, action, surprises and love that lasts a lifetime. As always EC Land has given us an incredibly great escape!

A well written story with lots of action, betrayals, surprises and the past coming back to life. Sammy and Emmy had it all before she was shot 2 months after they married. When Sammy found out she died from her father, he was never the same. He was saved one night by a biker when he thought he couldn't go on. Now he's the prez of the club that saved him. But he has surprises coming he never expected.

Scorch is bitter about the past when his wife Emery was killed by a bullet meant for him. The two were married and happy until he lost her. Ten years have gone by and Scorch gets the shock of his life when he finds out he has a son and Emery may not be dead. An enemy is after them and Scorch will protect but not love again or so he thinks for a time. A good read.

I have been loving all of the Royal Bastards books and this one was a scorcher! Scorch has lived the past ten years thinking his wife was dead. He's set on getting revenge on the man he holds responsible. When he finds out his wife is indeed alive he is angry. He feels she didn't trust him to protect her. So I knew this couple had an uphill battle to face to be together. My only pet peeve was that Emery was supposed to be a badass and vigilante so I think she could have gotten in touch with Scorch sooner. I enjoyed their story though.

Entertaining start to a new MC Series. Scorch and Emery’s story is filled with drama, suspense and emotion. Their chemistry is explosive and their story grips you from beginning to end. I really liked it.

Ok I dont usually read books this short because there's just not enough pages for the story depth and development and this is true for this book.
So much potential,vgrwat characters and potential for storyline but way to short so misses just about everything.
I dont honestly see the point in writing a book this short but part of this series. Its annoying as fuck.
It was resolved too easily and quickly.
The characters were two dimensional.
It was too rushed.

Samuel is about to commit suicide 2 weeks after losing his wife when Ghoul stops him and offers him a life with the RB.
10 years later, he is the Prez of his chapter and receives a call from his ex- father-in-law telling him that he need his help protecting a precious cargo. When he tells him that the cargo is his wife and child, Samuel sees red. For 10 years they have been lying to him, but he accepts. Especially since the threat that ended his marriage years ago reappears: the Alcazar cartel.
His wife Emery is a very strong woman, an expert in weapons. With her sister Demi she has been acting as a vigilante, protecting the defenseless and killing the bad guys.
Although Samuel is furious with her, he is also hopelessly in love.
The end of the book is explosive 🧨. I’m dying to read Bane and Demi’s book, if there is one.

Ok it is no secret that I have fallen in love with E.C. writing. I honestly found her by chance and have not looked back since. This was no exception. The Royal Bastards MC is a collaboration of the BEST kind with some absolutely AMAZING authors contributing to this series. Well needless to say not only did I find her but several other authors who have done something I thought would never be done before. They have come together and not only satisfy their readers but give us a glimpse of escapism that most of us readers DO NOT WANT TO LEAVE!
Scorch and Emerys love story is riddled with explosive drama and nail-biting love that will literally leave you breathless. Although a quick read it does not skimp on what the reader needs and or wants from the characters. This is due to this PHENOMENAL author! I have found that whatever she writes or who she collaborates with will inevitably turn to the most amazing treasures. Jewels so bright that they blind you. E.C. has the ability to drag your soul through the dirtiest of dirty only to bring you out on the other side fully aware that she is going to do this again and again. You know it is coming and yet you willingly go with her because what comes out on the other side is so much more greater than what you started with. I will totally recommend this and any of her stories to my friends and anyone who will listen. Thank you for all the rides I have been on and the many more to come. I can not wait for these adventures to continue.

Scorch and Emerys love story is riddled with explosive drama and nail-biting love that will literally leave you breathless. Although a quick read it does not skimp on what the reader needs and or wants from the characters. This is due to this PHENOMENAL author! I have found that whatever she writes or who she collaborates with will inevitably turn to the most amazing treasures. Jewels so bright that they blind you. E.C. has the ability to drag your soul through the dirtiest of dirty only to bring you out on the other side fully aware that she is going to do this again and again. You know it is coming and yet you willingly go with her because what comes out on the other side is so much more greater than what you started with. I will totally recommend this and any of her stories to my friends and anyone who will listen. Thank you for all the rides I have been on and the many more to come. I can not wait for these adventures to continue.

How would you react if your other half, the love of your life, was to be shot and died? Scorch had to make the decision to live for revenge and justice or take his own life? He chose to live. Ten years later, Scorch found out that the wife he thought had died was still alive and he had a son. Scorch was furious that she did not tell him or let him know he had a son. He has lost so much time with his son. Emery thought she was protecting Samuel (Scorch) by staying away from him. She took the bullet that was meant for him and she regretted ignoring the fact she had a stalker and her stalker had threatened Samuel’s (Scorch) life. She now realizes that she shouldn’t have listened to her father. Now Samuel, known as Scorch, professes to hate her and is angry with her for making him miss out on so much with his son and how he suffered thinking she was dead. How can they overcome all of their problems? How can Scorch forgive what Emery did? That is enough info I don’t want to spoil the story for you. You will need to read it yourself to find out what happened. I love the books that E. C. Land write and this one is no exception. This is past of the Royal Bastards series and can be read alone but you get more if you read other books associated with the Royal Bastards series that E. C. Land wrote and his Devil’s Riot MC series. They give a little more details. Highly recommend this book or any book for that matter from E. C. Land. Hope you enjoy this book as much as I did,

Another stunning addition to the RBMC book series. E.C. Land has knocked it out of the park with this one! Scorch is filled with heartache and rage after his wife is murdered, and his uncle Ghoul a president in the RBMC stops him from doing the worst possible thing he could do, by offering him a new start with the MC. Forward a decade and Scorch is now president of his own club.He gets a call from his dead wife's father and business partner, who informs him that he is sending his very alive wife Emory and his son to him for protection. Scorch gets angry and tells him that this is not funny, that his wife is dead, and that she would have told him if she had been pregnant. The father-in-law tells him that she is very much alive and that he does have a son. Scorch is now feeling things that took him 10 years to overcome, so he sends others to get them from the airport. Emory is a spit-fire and immediately starts throwing attitude with the guys sent to keep her on lock-down. The story just takes off from this point and wow, the action, suspense, and smoking hot sex scenes are fantastic!! A great new beginning on an all time favorite!

This book is part of the Royal Bastards MC Collection. Scorch married the girl of his dreams and lost her all in the same day. He wanted to die as well. Then he found by the club and started a whole new life. Now her father has contacted him and is asking for a favor. He will help for a price. She is the price. Turns out he never lost her she was taken from him. He isn’t the same man he was back then. He can’t just pick up where they left off. Plus, there is more that he didn’t know about. Scorch is angry and he isn’t sure he can just get over that. That they could ever be anything again. Time will tell. Plus, they still have to deal with the enemy who was after her then and is after her now. He might now be sure if he wants her but he is sure he won’t let anyone else have her. This book was a great second chance romance read. Things aren’t as they appeared to be for either character. They must find a way to move forward no matter if they are together or not. They are still married. Not to mention they are tied together in other ways. I love this book and couldn’t put it down once I started. I loved the characters and will hopefully get to read more about the characters in this chapter in future books. Great job E.C. Land.

Scorch and Emery are meant for each another, but fate had other plans. They were separated for 10 years and now they meet again. Scorch's heart is petrified and he has estranged all feelings. The evil that separated them is now back and Emery's family knows that only one can help to save her. It's a fantastic read with fights, feisty women, heart-to-hearts and everything else you love in a great MC book. I'm already looking forward to the next books in the series. The feeling E.C. Land is writing about are going straight to your heart

I think Scorch lets Emery back into his life much too soon for what she did to him. If she is as ruthless as they say she is. She should have gone against her father. I was hoping for more resistance from Scorch's side to let her fight a bit harder to get him back. I could have dealt with a bit more heartache, and more heated arguments between the two. But I am also proud of Emery that she raised their son with the knowledge of his dad. Once they meet you can feel the love between father and son - even though the father knows about him for such a short time.

I have to say, E.C. Land writes MC Romance very, very well. What I've read are intense, explosive, and so, so steamy. This book is a great example of that. Samuel's life was destroyed when his wife was killed 10 years ago. Reborn as Scorch and now the president of the Royal Bastards MC Elizabeth City Chapter, his life is totally different from the loving husband and provider he was. His life is turned upside down again when he is told his wife, Emery didn't die and he has a 10 year old son, Stone, and she is coming to you for protection from the same people who "killed" her. He feels angry, betrayed, and furious at what he sees as her deception and missing t=his son's early childhood. He plans to extract his pound of flesh from her, but Emery is one strong woman and won't be anyone's door mat. Reasons for her deception are reveled, the steam and electric attraction is still overwhelming between these two. I loved the action, the pace of the book was perfect, and I cant wait for more of this series from E.C. Great read.

How do you describe a story that has suspense, second chances, heartbreak, and violence with a motorcycle club in the mix? I mean there is international intrigue with arms dealings and of course, the cartel. You get a little bit of everything mixed in with a second chance love story between Scorch and his "wife" Emery. Well, Scorch is surprised about his "wife" after going through a tragedy ten years prior. Although, you need to read the book to get the tidbits. What a group of RBMC. I enjoyed the club and their interactions and I absolutely adored Stone. Emery was fierce and protective. She wasn't the usual victim or damsel in distress. Nope, girlfriend had everyone's number from the get-go. This includes the President (her hubby) and the club chicks that tried to step on her toes. Nope! Don't do it!
I loved this story, but prepare to ride the roller coaster over and over!! I want more!! I need to know what happens next!!
