Being a professional escort comes with its vices. To keep women from getting too clingy, stop them from dropping their panties, and silence them before they can blurt the L word, Rhett has made certain rules. He never breaks them.

Ever.

1. No Kissing.

2. No Feelings.

3. And definitely, absolutely, no sex.

But when Aspen, a beautiful brunette, hires him to help repair her image to her family, things get complicated. Rhett's never had a problem separating work from pleasure. But now work and pleasure seem to be one and the same.

Standalone. No Cliffhanger. HEA. Remaining books in the series can be read in any order.

And another 'almost 5 stars' book.

I'll be honest: I was incredibly close to putting this book away after the first two or three chapters. Since I got this for free a few months back, I wouldn't even have had a terribly bad conscience about it. The characters weren't appealing to me, the formatting was annoying as hell (my first status update: 'Ugh. Hating the formatting of the e-book. With that line spacing, I'll have to turn the page after every other sentence.') and I didn't enjoy the author's writing style.
But for some reason, I kept going, and now I'm so glad I did.

Okay, so there's really nothing original about the plot. Rich girl hires male escort as her pretend-boyfriend so her sexist pig of a father will finally agree to hand over his company to her. Male escort who has never been in love, suddenly falls for said rich girl, but she's off limits because she's a client. So apart from the set of rules the escorts have to abide by (no kissing, no sex) - which, by the way, makes this refreshingly low on drama in terms of OW stuff - nothing new. Been there, done that.
And I didn't care one bit, mostly because of one of the most awesome heroines I've encountered in a long while.

More often than not, in books where the perma-single manwhore suddenly falls in love, I for the life of me can't figure out what's so different about her. Usually, I find those heroines bland and average at the best, and I just don't see the appeal and why the hero would so suddenly change his ways for that one particular girl.
Aspen, though? I loved her to bits! She is strong and independent, doesn't drool over every hot guy she comes across, she's funny and witty, and still wonderfully kind. Oh yes, she was a total pushover when it came to her dad, but I understood. Everyone longs for their parents' approval. Even more so when they don't get it, I guess. Due to years of emotional abuse by her father and an ugly break-up from her ex-fiancé, she is left a little insecure, but she refuses to let that show to anyone. I. Loved. Her.
Rhett was pretty amazing, too. He's had his share of women for sure, but he's not one of those heroes that are against relationships. In fact, it's the women who only want him for his looks and his money, and the ones that do see more in him just can't deal with his job. He cares for his phobia-stricken brother Chase, is loyal to a fault and loves his job. Oh, and he's drop-dead gorgeous, of course.
The chemistry between those two? Whew. I loved how their relationship slowly developed from a professional escort-client one to a beautiful friendship to more. Their banter was hilarious.
Harper and Troy were fantastic additions, too, and I can't wait to read their story.

The reason why I just couldn't give this book 5 stars, though, is the writing. In the beginning, I thought it was written by an average ninth grader. It did improve as the book progressed, but it was very, very simple and lacking in finesse whatsoever. It didn't appeal to me at all, but I was able to block it out because the story was so enjoyable.

All in all? Definitely recommended!

Oh, by the way: I really, really, (really!) need Chase's story. I'm aware that he's not one of the escorts, but... oh my God, he was adorable and broke my heart. Pretty please?

I received this book from the author is exchange for an honest review.

Stars: 4.5

Overall: Aspen has been dumped by her ex for her cousin and her father is a tyrant that doesn't want to give her the company until she finds a suitable man because he's "old school" about life. So with the help of Aspen's best friend Harper she decides to hire a male escort ( not the kind that have sex with you for money ) to act like her boyfriend and attend events and family function with her. When they first meet, both are attracted to each other, but after what Aspen went through she doesn't want a real relationship and Rhett is happy in his bachelorhood. After spending time together in front of her family and without, playing many board games and getting ice cream sundaes they start to become really close to each other. After this point Rhett attends an engagement party for her cousin and ex and that's when he decides that he is indeed in love with her and makes his move. The rest of the story is about them navigating that new relationship and Aspen dealing with her past and moving on with her future. The story was beautiful written and I can't wait to get my hands on the next one.

Pros: I loved this story and I liked that it was a different side of the escort business. I really loved Aspen and her personality. Even though she was dealing with an uncaring family and a difficult job, she kept her head high and didn't let anyone of them damper her soul. I also really loved Chase and how Rhett came up with the shadow sword for him. I just laughed throughout this whole book and that's something I really enjoy about a story. I just loved that this story was a funny, romantic and overall realistic. The characters were relatable and the side characters added the extra added stuff that the story needed.

Cons: My only cons for this story are, did she end up firing that no good brother of her and what happened to Isabella suing Rhett and his company? Maybe they will be answered in future books.

Characters: Rhett & Aspen

Series Cont: Yes

POSSIBLE SPOILERS.................

I was given a copy of this by the author in exchange for an honest review. This is the first book in a series but each book can be read as a standalone story. Aspen works in her father's company, she's hoping to take over. But her fiancé John cheats on her with her cousin whom he's now going to marry. Aspen's father is deeply disappointed and threatens Aspen's hopes of taking over one day. Her best friend Harper goads her into hiring an escort to pretend to be her boyfriend. This is how she meets Rhett he owns his own escort service, but it's an escort service with a difference, they do not offer any intimacies other than holding hands or a peck on the cheek!
While I quite liked this it lacked that hot chemistry that I like in my romance reads. Rhett was charming and a real gentlemen but he was a bit too goody goody for personal liking. Aspen was a very downtrodden heroine and seemed to let everyone walk all over her, but she was a likeable character. I wasn't convinced that once they were together she would be fine with Rehtt continuing to pretend to be other women's boyfriends/husbands for a living. This story was a bit slow to get going and did lag in parts where I was tempted to skip pages. Overall it was a sweet romance, probably a bit too sweet for me.

Ok so when I saw no sex, I really was curious. How in the world can you call yourself and escort and not give up the goods, SIR!!! Anywho…I loved this book, it’s a great start to the series. We meet Rhett, sexy name right, he’s the guy who started this business and made the rules. He is sexy and knows it but he isn’t cocky about it, just extremely charming and caring as he takes care of his brother who suffers from Sciophobia, fear of shadows(weird). He gets hired by poor Aspen, well not poor as her dad is worth billions, but poor as in her dad is an asshole and she has to hire and escort to get him off her back poor. You can see where this is going and as the book blurb says sparks fly. But even though this is somewhat predictable it is still a joy to read. There was only one thing missing and that was a straight up old school ass whopping…you’ll see what I mean. The progression that takes place in the story is wonderfully written and I enjoyed reading it. I laughed out loud several times especially when fellow escort Troy references my man Justin Timberlake. So 4.5 stars for this romantic comedy, E. L Todd did a great job.

''People will judge me no matter what I do. I may as well do what I want''

This story was so easy to read and entertaining. I blush, smiled and laughed all throughout the book. I Liked the authors writing style, the conversation between the character's seemed so natural and are very likeable. The only thing I wish was different is the ending... Aspen forgave her father far too easily.

I definitely recommended if you like contemporary romance, with a little spice, humor and slow burn. Also, can we have Chase's story? PLEASE

I love stories about escorts and this one sounded different since the escort had rules he expected his clients to follow. Aspen hires Rhett as an escort after her fiance left her for her cousin. Aspen's father expects Aspen to have an image and one of the things to hold that image is to have a boyfriend. Aspen hires Rhett until her father signs his company to her. Rhett and Aspen begin friendship and then much more. There were no twists or revelations. What you thought was going to happen...did.

I was excited to read this, but the writing style and in the end the characters did nothing for me. Aspen annoyed me. This story had the horny BFF, Harper, like every other romance. Rhett's POV sounded more feminine than masculine. He was "perfect". It is hard to write a male's POV and I think in this case it would have been better to stick with one POV, the heroine's.

The verbiage and characters' behaviors were juvenile. The story was predictable. The angst mild. I love drama and crave it in my stories, but the secondary characters' actions were obnixious.

There was a lot of information/detail about people that had nothing to do with the story. For example, I do not care what Aspen's brother did for a living and how he did not leave the apartment, etc. (Loc page 39). All that unnecessary detail feel like fillers and make me want to skim. There were many paragraphs that felt wordy. (Loc page 202)

The way that Aspen would hear her BFF's voice in her head felt weird. (Loc page 49)

You may love this story. This is my opinion.

I actually did like this. Until the ending ruined it all for me. Seriously, this was simply PERFECT and then THIS CLICHÉ, ANNOYING, CHEESY ENDING came. It doesn't make sense. You don't just forgive your father after YEARS of being a complete ass to you and even him trying to marry you off to some cheating bastard only because it's the most profitable option for him. No! And certainly not after he takes you out for a pathetic ice cream once. And how believable is it for him to say he's happy as long as you are when he didn't care all your former life?! He mistreated and ignored his daughter all the time because she reminds him of her mother (who died ... - I think you can guess the drama) and now out of nothing he just overcomes it all. NO, NO AND NO. IT DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT. And also this her being like her mother is the most uncreative , unimaginative and lame justification for the father to treat her like this ever. I just don't buy it.
And I HATE this ending because it's too neatly, too fast and just F***ING FAKE and not realistic. So, some annoying background issues actually ruined the otherwise perfect romance for me. And this makes me really furious.

Aspen finds her fiancé John is cheating on her with her cousin Isabella. Aspen works for her father who ignores everything she does for the company practically running it herself. She want to become the CEO but her father doesn't think she is ready. Her father wants to see her in a relationship again.

In steps Rhett from the agency as an escort pretending to be her boyfriend in front of her father. He has rules to protect his company he has built up. Slowly you can see the signs of true love.

The banter throughout this book was good and I had some lol moments between Rhett, Chase his brother and Troy his friend.

I loved the slow build up between these two knowing it was against the rules but they cant deny their feelings. Rhett the perfect gentleman and Aspen fun loving, caring and intelligent oh and loved playing and beating Rhett at Battleships.
A very sweet heart warming romance with some lovely characters which I'm sure we will meet in the next books.

I need more stars!!! This book was such a fun read, I absolutely adored Rhett. I know he's an escort, but I loved that there was no sex involved, it made the book so much easier to read. The story was amazing, the characters were wonderful, it was perfect.

I will definitely be checking out the rest of this author's books. Thank you so much, E.L. Todd, for allowing me to enjoy this book!

I enjoyed this book. Change of pace for me. Pure romance, with a little drama in between.
Unhappy girl needs a boyfriend to meet her father's approval. She works hard running his company, without his praise , without his love. Rents a boyfriend, brings him to daddy and daddy loves him while still ignoring her.
I could go on but I won't tell the story. It's well written, worth reading. and I'm going to buy the next one. Enjoy it!!

Whoop. Yet another amazing book by E.L !!

I liked the quirkiness and the playful side to aspen and harper.

Rhetts friends were a little annoying and childish but at the same time funny.

This whole book was brilliant. I got so lost in this book I missed dinner and didn't realise how dark it got around me till I finished and put the lamp on :-)

I would have liked and epilogue though. Maybe a couple scenes showing them down the road.

I throughly enjoyed reading this book and can not wait to start the next one. Hoping to read more on harper but also hoping on a few more scenes on chase.

An ARC provided by Netgalley for an honest review

This was one of those cute stories that had no drama at all basically. Well with the tiny exception of Isabella everything just fell into place. If you are in the mood for a no nonsense cute story this is the book. The characters don't have any misunderstanding and the story just flows. The characters are likeable and the plot is ok.

Cover
Ein gutaussehender Mann passt also super aufs Cover.

Inhalt

The story is about Aspen who has recently been dumped by her ex-boyfriend for her cousin. Her dad is also putting pressure on her to find a man otherwise he won’t give her CEO position in his company. This is where Rhett comes in when it is suggested by her best friend Harper to hire a escort to act as her boyfriend to attend events and get her dad off her back. Aspen and Rhett quickly strike up a close friendship and they slowly begin to develop feeling for each other. I really enjoyed the plot of this story. Aspen and Rhett were both great characters.
It was a very easy book to read and sat and read it in one sitting. There is plenty of hot steamy scenes and a little bit of angst at times. I loved Rhett’s brother Chase and I know this series is about 5 escorts but I love for him to get his own book. It was great to see Rhett’s relationship with his brother.
The only thing that bothered me about this book was some of the plotlines seemed unfinished unless they occur in future books. It would great to know the outcome of the law suit and also I love to see the scene when Aspen dealt with her brother.
It’s Troy’s and Harper’s story next which I look forward to reading.
Overall a great sweet, fun, hot romance story.

It is hard to write a separate review for each of the books in this series without them all ending up sounding the same. So...

What I loved about this series:
~The stories are so easy to read. They could easily be read in one sitting.
~I very much enjoyed the authors style of writing. All the books were well written.
~Throughout their books, the characters are developed well and are very likeable.
~Each situation that requires the need to hire an escort is different. You're not reading the same story multiple times.
~The further I read into the series, the more I enjoyed the books.

Book specific thoughts
~The banter between the characters was good and entertaining.
~Rhett's brother, Chase, was a great and interesting secondary character. His phobia of shadows was intriguing. I would love to see more of him.
~I was happy with how the story ended. However, I felt that one incident wasn't followed through and I was left wondering whether or not the problem was resolved I hoped the matter would come up in the future books and get resolved then, but it didn't.

Given an Arc in return for honest opinion.

Aspen is working at her dads company hoping to make it CEO, some day. However, finding out her fiancé cheated on her with her cousin, Aspen isn't looking for a relationship. Her dad wants her to have a man before she can become CEO, always seeking her fathers approval. Aspen hires an escort, who subscribes to no kissing, no feeling and no sex. In steps Rhett the hot escort, who like to make friendships and help his clients, there is more to him than just goodlooks. The more the spend time together the more the realise they have feelings for one and another. When things don't go to plan for Aspen, Rhett realizes he has to step in a break all his rules.

It was a good unexpected read, I was unsure how the escorting aspect would worked, but I really enjoy the story. Shows you love can come from friendships and friends really do care about helping friends when needed the most, especially when your family lets you down.

I'd recommend anyone hesitant to give this book a chance.

I Just love E. L. Todds books and this is no exception. Beautiful Entourage has all the elements of a great love story... Angst, forbidden love, drama, good versus evil, the stupid ex boyfriend and his bitchy, troublemaking girlfriend....it all made for a great read that had me turning page after page wanting more. The story is simple, the writing is also simple but I love thatI don't get tangled up in all the messy details and can actually enjoy the main story and the characters. Rhett is a dream....do guys like him actually exist? Aspen is....ugh! She's just adorable. I love her and I was cheering for her. What she had to deal with and the way Rhett supported her was so beautiful and compelling. My only criticsm would be the timeline.... It wasn't always clear how much time had passed between events, and their ages. There is no reference to how old the characters are so I imagined them in their mid to late 20's. This is a great story and looking forward to book #2 of this series.

Worst dialogue ever. No humans actually talk or act like that. It completely ruined it for me. There were nonsensical things happening constantly in this book. The plot sounded intriguing but the author just couldn't pull it off with any success. Very blah ending that felt so overwrought and dumb.

I'm really getting tired of books that jump between character point of view every chapter. Is this the new fad? Because I hate it. Just tell a good story and figure out the POV as you go. Don't make me have to read one full chapter written from Aspen's perspective, especially when things are happening and I would really like to hear Rhett's thoughts. It ruins the flow of a story and is just hacky, bad writing.

Can we talk about the character names? Aspen and Rhett? Give me a break. Writers think that giving odd names makes them ''unique'' but it doesn't. It makes me think that your writing isn't strong enough to stand on its own without a gimmick.

I'm in love with this author

Oh my god how I loved this story, I didn't think I would because it sounded so cliché but it was totally worth reading.

The writing style was great with lots of prologues which I love, and very graphic description of both the characters and the surroundings.

The build up in this story was so nice and I felt like it was a little fairy tale like, and I liked that it wasn't any doubt about how the main characters felt about each other.
The challenges they faced wasn't so big that I felt that they took to much room.

I laughed, cried and got annoyed reading this book, and I loved all the feelings in this book.

This is the first book I've read from this author and it certainly isn't going to be the last.

The bonus story Monday was equally great, but I have to read the end. It's so sweet ❤️

This was a great book! I was worried at first bc of the whole escort thing but E.L. did a great job of incorporating it into the story! Rhett too was amazing! Such a loveable guy in the story and Aspen got lucky with receiving him as her escort! I despised her dad so much the entire time and was so glad she got to do what she did in the end! Great romance :-)
