Teagan's world shatters when she uncovers the mafia ties of her friends Fallon and Luca. To ensure her silence, she's thrust into an unwanted marriage with Christiano, the boss' cousin—an enigmatic man who despises her for this arrangement. Christiano is a methodical killer with no time for women, much less a wife.
But as they’re forced to live together, Teagan's vibrant presence both captivates and challenges him. Yet, their mutual distrust remains steadfast. And if the truth about their union comes to light, it has the potential to set off a full-blown mafia war, putting everyone at risk, particularly Teagan.
As their marriage blurs the line between love and hate, Christiano finds himself torn between his growing attraction to Teagan and the dangerous organization he's sworn to protect.
If he falters, the very existence of the Syndicate will be erased.

For Christiano, With Hate is LIVE and Free in Kindle Unlimited!
This was a fast-paced and exciting story. We meet Teagan, who realizes her bestie is married to the mob, and then she has to marry the cousin's boss so that they can keep an eye on her. But Teagan and Christiano, the mafia prince who's not used to feisty women, hate each other, leading to hilarious situations, while they're also attracted to each other. They're a match made in mafia heaven.
I enjoyed how she kept challenging Christiano and his reactions to it. And I flew through the story, reconnecting with the family and Luca! The small hints and revelations through the storyline kept me glued to the pages. Of course, there's a plot twist, one I never see coming in Soraya's books. And the smutty scenes from both point of views were my favorite.
Even though I read the others book a while back, this was easy to read and is a complete standalone in series. There's no need to have read any of the other books; every book features another couple.
I had a blast hanging out with some of my favorite people and I’m a bit sad knowing that this will probably be the last book for them. I’ll miss the drama, the action, and the sense of family these characters engender the most.
As with everything else I’ve experienced from this series, I was immediately pulled into the dangerous and glittering world of the Chicago Syndicate. However, it’s been just long enough since I last read anything about these characters that I wished I’d done a full re-read of the series to refresh my memory. The details were a little hazy, but I didn’t really need them anyway. Cristiano and Teagan are like lone wolves desperately struggling for dominance in the relationship that was thrust upon them. They’re also both a bit desperate for the family connections this mission offers. I loved watching Teagan toughen up, and Christiano soften some of his hard edges, while they discovered the common ground between them. And as with every book before this, it was the sweet family-oriented moments that completely stole my heart while all the Syndicate-related ones stole my breath. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author through Give Me Books Promotions.
Intense, action packed, dark and edgy with twist and turns.
For Christiano With Hate is Book 10 in the Chicago Syndicate Series and a standalone. It's a forced marriage mafia romance.
Teagan has got herself in a bind after she overhears a conversation between her best friend Fallon and her husband Logan revealing their ties to the mafia. Now she's out of options and will be forced into marrying into the Syndicate.
Christiano is the Syndicates assassin and cousin to Adriano the boss. He's know to be a womanizer with his string of conquests and isn't happy that he's also being forced to marry especially if it's Teagan. He thinks she's a loudmouth, unpredictable and a character.
Their back and forth banter from the beginning was fierce as neither wanted any part of each other or the arrangement. There's so much going on that it's causing havoc between them. With suspicions, accusations, mistrust and tensions mounting it doesn't help when he's hot and cold attitude towards her has her feeling that that he's hiding something. Especially since she's very observant and is starting to pick up signs that things aren't as they appear.
As life turns upside and their lives begin to unravel will they come together and risk everything e en death or will pride and misunderstandings tear them apart?
This book will have you screaming, frustrated, laughing, crying and mad as hell. I wanted to reach into the book and stangle a few people more than once. 😒
I received an ARC from the author and I'm voluntarily leaving my review.
When I saw that the last book in Soraya’s Chicago Syndicate series was going to be about Teagan and Christiano. I was really excited to see where their story would go. This quickly became my favorite book since reading For Fallon. All of her books hold a special place in my heart but this one I was so surprised with.
Teagan is feisty and isn’t afraid to tell you how she feels. She’s thrown in a world and marriage she wasn’t prepared for. Christiano is loyal to the syndicate and his cousin. He would do anything even marry someone he doesn’t even know.
The banter they have going on is amazing. I truly just love the back and fourth during this read. They both are fighting their true feelings and it’s very interesting to see it unfold while reading.
This is book 10 in this mafia series and it’s the final book. I’m honestly sad to see such a great mafia series end and I hope the 2nd generation gets their own stories some day, so I don’t have to miss these characters too much. Happy reading!
This book was really worth the wait. I enjoyed reconnecting with the previous characters even if I must admit I didn’t remember Adriano being so dangerous. That being said, I really loved Cristiano and Teagan. They are the perfect match made in heaven. A slow burn romance in which the hero finally decides to let go of all the control he has been maintaining for all these years. The plot is definitely very intricate and involving. I’m just so sorry that this series has come to an end.
I'll admit this is the first book I've read by this author and how weird is it that I came in so far into the series yet fell in love with all the characters. For Christiano, with Hate is outstanding! Teagan overhears something that now has put her life in danger and to stay alive she must marriage the bosses cousin who just happens to be a killer for the mafia. The web that these two characters are caught up in has the ability to destroy one or both characters because some really bad crap is happening in their ranks at this time. Teagan is strong willed and mouthy, which is not a smart thing to be in her position. Christiano may be attracted to Teagan but her can't stand all her questions and her not listening. But there is a very fine line between hate and love and these two characters are working their way around it with his job and her new life interfering and distracting them. In the long run this could be the end for both of them. Sigh~ This was very well written with a storyline you can't help being drawn into. There is not one negative about this story or the characters. A lot may be happening but even without previously reading any of the others books before this it is very easy to follow and even get an idea of how previous characters work so well together.
Being back in the Syndicate world feels like coming home, this series is one of my go to mafia favorites and For Christiano, With Hate is no different. A dark arranged marriage, action and sizzling steam.
Just overhearing one conversation Teagan’s life is forever changed, and is forced to marry into the Syndicate. A man known as the Syndicates assassin, Christiano. He is not too thrilled to be forced to marry a woman such as Teagan, due to her mannerisms. But he is loyal to what he believes in and his cousin. Even if it means marrying someone he doesn’t know.
From the start their arrangement was in turmoil, with so much mistrust looking over each others shoulders. . . But you could tell they were fighting their true feelings for one another and once they slowly start to open up towards one another it was beautiful to see.
Sad to see an amazing chapter come to a close but this saga is one I will never forget. Dark romance lovers rejoice and read this series.
For Christiano, With Hate by Soraya Naomi is book 10 in the Chicago Syndicate Series. This is the story of Christiano 'Chris' and Teagan. Teagan keeps getting herself in trouble with the Syndicate who can't take her out so the next best thing is marriage. This leads to Chris who is a part of mob family and a hit-man is told he has to marry her. I enjoyed this book and hope to read more from this author.
I loved this book. We now see Christiano and Teagan who hate each other. She has to marry him and doesn't like it one bit either does he. But they do it for the syndicate and the batter back and forth is really good. There is a rat in there mist and and they have to find out who. We also see all the rest of the main characters from the past books. When they find out who will they both hate each other or find out what they needed all along. I will miss this series but I have all the books so I can go back and re read. I would highly recommend this book.
Teagan and Christiano were everything! Teagan’s got herself in a mess and now she has to accept the consequences and marry Christiano. There is no other option. Teagan is a spitfire and handful. Chris is not ready for her. Trust is a two way street and neither trust each other so it’s a long road ahead. Will their farce of a marriage turn into something more? Can he trust her with his life and the family's life? Such a great read,it’s filled with angst, steam, trust issues, suspense and so much more. I loved the interaction with all of the other couples, I’ve missed them.
Loved it! Its been awhile since i read the last book in this series but i was sucked in right away. I'm so glad i had a chance to read this early. Christiano and Teagen were everything i love to read. The banter and the sexual tension oh my! I loved the how the book flowed and seeing all the other couples from earlier books especially my fav couple Fallon and Luca that started this all. This is a standalone but if you love mafia romances unlike anything else you have ever read. Start with For Fallon.
WOW Factor of this book is through the roof! Simply amazing, sexy, and thrilling. I also fell in love with the main characters. Ms. Naomi outdone herself!
Welcome back to the Syndicate! It’s been a hot minute and it was nice to read about these characters again. Especially Luca…he will always have a special place in my heart. Teagan, Fallon’s best friend, had gotten herself in trouble with ease dropping over a conversation. Her punishment - marriage to a stranger. Christiano is Adriano’s cousin and pretty closed off. These two have some fireworks with the clash of their personalities. But they start to soften towards each other and their scenes become so romantic. Two people that didn’t grow up with a stable backgrounds become each other’s foundation. I will have to say this book was a little confusing in the beginning. The marriage moved very fast and it felt incomplete. But as the story moved, the action and tension sucked me in! I was on the edge of my seat with anticipation of what was going to happen next. It was a great build! I hope there is more from this family and maybe generational stories in the future!
*I voluntarily accepted an advance reader copy for my honest review*
This is a brilliant addition to this series. Teagan knows things that she shouldn't and now she has to accept the consequences, she has to marry Christiano. Christiano never wanted to be married and now he is struck with someone he doesn't know and who annoys him with her constant questions. I absolutely loved the banter between them but they also don't trust each other. Soon they start to get closer but when a rat is discovered in the syndicate can they prove that she isn't the guilty party. Plenty of drama and suspense but also so much emotion and love but can they get their HEA. Loved the ending. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
For Christiano, With Hate is such a fantastic read. I loved this one so much. I love the banter and chemistry build between Christiano and Teagan. Both have a little trust issue and I just love the tension that builds. Teagan is thrown into the Syndicate and she shines as she lends a hand. Christiano is trying to find who is the mole. Their world is turn upside down as they try not to get close. I love the give and take and how Teagan and Christiano protect each other. I could not get enough of this one. I love being in the Chicago Syndicate world and being a part of the family. If you have not had a chance to read the series yet go do so now. This is one mafia read you will not want to miss.
I was so excited for another Chicago Syndicate series book. I've read every single book. Teagan was first introduced in book 1 (For Fallon) as Fallon’s best friend and I always hoped she’d get her own story. Christiano is a member of the Chicago Syndicate and related to the boss. Together, Teagan and Christiano made for an intriguing forced-into-marriage romance story. A sexy and seductive pairing, to say the least. I'll be honest, I was also really looking forward to more of the characters from the previous books. It was only natural we would get Fallon and Luca in this book, my absolute favorite couple in the series. I loved and appreciated how we got all the couples in this final chapter of the Chicago Syndicate series. For a huge fan of the series like myself, it was a bonus! It was sweet seeing them still living their happily ever afters. Sigh, such a bittersweet ending to the series.
3.5 Stars This is the wrap-up to the series as a whole and though I haven’t read all of it I have previously read Fallon and Luca’s story. It’s a mafia arranged marriage romance and can be read as a stand-alone, I do think this is appreciated more with the added intel from the other characters and having been introduced to this series previously through Lucas and Fallon this did manage to add that extra layer for me. Also, the story deals with dark themes and the individuals involved are of the morally grey sort so it was definitely my sort of read.
Christiano under pressure from the other high-ranking members of the syndicate finds himself married off to Fallon’s best friend. Teagan after overhearing something she shouldn’t is coerced into matrimony unaware that she is being used as a front to launder money. Not a great start the two are practically strangers both thrust into an unwilling partnership and neither being entirely honest nor trusting the other. What starts as mutual apathy slowly grows into something more as Teagan manages to completely demolish Chris’s walls an immense feat considering he is used to being an island and standing alone.
Teagan well she was easily adaptable and despite her runaway mouth does then easily toe the line when she’s reprimanded. I do wish she had displayed more backbone with her husband though than she did. I mean he along with the syndicate had used her as a pawn basically the fall guy a smoke screen, but all everyone was focused on was Teagan’s apparent betrayal even her so-called best friend Fallon when she actually hadn’t betrayed anyone.
Chris also was so hot and cold and had so many personalities he gave me whiplash, he switched tack constantly. He also expected his new wife to show him blind loyalty and trust but refused to bestow her the same privilege. I wasn’t sure about him at all he definitely wasn’t an easy one to warm to.
Despite the above, I enjoyed this and it was nice catching up with Fallon and Luca again especially seeing their twins though must say I did think Fallon was a bit of a crappy friend to Teagan. It was way obvious where her true loyalties lay and it certainly wasn’t with her friend.
I also liked the epilogue and getting to witness Teagan and Chris happy and connected as a unit. Overall I enjoyed some bits of this more than others but it did manage to round the series off to my satisfaction. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of For Christiano, with hate.
I've been a huge fan of this series. However, for some reason, I struggled with this book. I'm not sure if part of it was because its been years since I last read this series so it and the characters weren't as fresh or if the characters just didn't click with me.
It was nice seeing these characters again , but I struggled to be invested. There were some great moments and some others that just didn't fit with this Mafia world. I'm still a fan of this author, regardless of this book missing the mark for me.
Starting where The Man in Black left off, this book is part of the Chicago Syndicate World and can be read as a standalone, but I recommended reading the other books too!
Teagan is left with no choice and no other options since her life imploded but to listen to her best friend, Fallon. She knows too much and is a security risk to The Syndicate so her only way choice is to marry broody Christiano.
Let’s just say they are both not pleased being told what to do but they have no choice when there is a threat to the organisation and they need to protect themselves for anything that could blow their operation apart.
Keep your friends close but your enemies closer has never been truer than now. Hang on for the ride!
Soraya has done it again. The chemistry between Teagan and Christiano lept off the page. Could not put it down.
Christiano and Teagan hate each other , but do what must be done to protect the Syndicate. They marry because they need to make sure Teagan doesn’t say anything about a conversation she over heard. They fight and ignore each other, but slowly start to have feelings other then hate. When Teagan is targeted by the cops, it seems like she is a mole to take down the family/ Christiano is mad and upset because he thought they were moving pass the distrust. The four of them,Luca,Fallen, Teagan, and Christiano finds the mole and takes care of it with out the head man finding out. They start a new chapter and their love grows.

This is the 10th book in the Chicago Syndicate series but it can be read as a standalone. Teagan discovers the mafia ties of her friends and is forced to marry Christiano who is not happy about this arrangement. Soon sparks begin to fly between them but Teagan isn’t out of danger yet. Fast-paced mafia read with loads of drama, suspense and steamy scenes. I liked it.
The first books in the series were very good, but then they became very boring. While there was action and real story in the first five books then it became so repetitive, no real story. I was excited to read this one - the premise was so promising. A girl that knows nothing about the mafia life and just discovered her best friend's connection with it is arranged to marry with the boss's cousin. I thought it would be very good story. But besides the fact there is still no real story I can't imagine someone that just discovered the mafia life would be so okay with it. And how can a mafia member, high ranking no less, be so stupid. Who brings his wife on such a dangerous mission. One thing is help with stealing a phone. But then he brings her to a rival mafia bar just because no one from the other members can't come with him. I would understand if she was more experienced in such situations but no. And then she shoots someone without a second thought. Yeah, it is possible to, probably when it is to protect your life and the life of someone you love. But then she doesn't dwell on it, doesn't regret it or even give it a second thought. Sorry but I can't imagine for someone who have never killed anyone to be so easy to move on after, even if it was justified in that case. And Fallon's reaction when she discovered mafia's life was so much more believable then Teagan's. I don't think someone can be that okay with it, so fast nonetheless. Let's not mention that Fallon did try running a few times but Teagan didn't really consider it. So unbelievable. And Christiano - after the accident with the Russians he admires her reaction but there is no regret about putting inexperienced woman in such a situation. The fact that he put her life in a risk, that he is the reason she killed someone for first time - yeah, for him it isn't a big deal, but for someone who had never taken another's life not so much. And then what does he say to his wife - regardless of the marriage circumstances - that he doesn't want anything serious. Excuse me but what more serious than marriage without the option for divorce. And he blurts this after taking her on a possible deadly mission - for her at least -and after kissing her and making big progress with her. The characters in this book are so stupid and immature. There's nothing really happening except their constant banter, no real story and plot. While the first books were great this one can't be compared to them. While the premise was so promising and interesting the execution of the story is so poor. And like I said Teagan's reaction is so unbelievable, I don't think someone could be that okay with such a discovery and speedy arranged marriage to complete stranger who reveals that is assassin. Yeah, I realize it's a book and not everything should be completely believable but still I want when reading mafia romance to feel it and not be annoyed by the absurdity of it and stupidness of the characters. Yeah, I really appreciate the author's work and effort. That's why I refrain from leaving somewhat negative reviews but I had to express my opinion towards this book. The only reason I finished it is because I've read the whole series so far and I don't like leaving something unfinished after so long. But comparing to the others and how good they were i personally give this book two stars. But I also realize that everyone likes different things so someone can really enjoy this book.

Wow! What can I say! A page turner indeed!! This story is captivating, sexy, slow-burn tension, angst, steamy, witty banter, push and pull, intriguing, intense, emotional rollercoaster, and dangerously addictive—it will keep you on the edge of your seat!
All’s fair in love and war, right? But what happens when the line between the two becomes blurred? I was thinking this story was going to go one way when BAM—out of nowhere it turns! This is book 10 of the Chicago Syndicate, FOR CHRISTIANO, WITH HATE and this is Christiano Montesi and Teagan Johnson’s story. Christiano is an enigma of a man who is very handsome, sexy, dominant, an assassin for the Syndicate who has no time for a woman—let alone a wife! Teagan is best friends with Fallon, who is married to Luca—an underboss for the Syndicate. When Teagan eavesdrops on a conversation that Luca had, she puts herself and Luca in a precarious situation. Because of Fallon and Luca’s relationship with Teagan, a solution to the Syndicate’s problem is either kill her or bring her into the Mafia and marry the one bachelor—Christiano. Now, Teagan has to prove herself to the Syndicate that she is trustworthy—it’s a matter of life or death. Despite their differences, Christiano and Teagan share an intense and sizzling chemistry that is off-the-charts hot!
If certain incidents are disclosed about the Syndicate, this could cause them a lot of problems and even war. The authorities are getting close. Is there a mole within their family/informants/security? I was flabbergasted with the unexpected revelations that happened. Find out what happens between Christiano and Teagan—see if there is a way they can recover from all the pain they have endured. Can Christiano trust Teagan? Will fate force Teagan to choose between love and hate? What happens next? Well, read this amazing story and find out—you won’t regret it! Soraya Naomi delivered a powerful, addictive, intriguing, and all-consuming Mafia romantic story that will lure you into the wee hours and beyond. I highly RECOMMEND this book!
It's been a whole minute since we've been at the Palermo and the Loop. Even though this can be read as a standalone, it's better read in order.
After overhearing and finding out what her best friends husband does for a living and what it entails. Teagan finds herself thrown into an arranged marriage to Christiano. To ensure her safety and silence and also to get her to cooperate and follow the family's rules.
They're both set in their ways, head strong. They bounce off the insults giving each other a challenge. Christiano isn't used to sharing his space. He doesn't do emotions, but Teagan, she brings out all sorts of emotions out of him, mainly annoyance. Teagan wants to get closer to him, emotionally. But he's more or less friendzoned her. They're both trying to trust one another, but with a mole in the ranks, the police getting closer, things are getting strained within the family. Will Teagan and Christiano come to a truce? Who can they trust? Who's going to break?
It was great being back in the Syndicate world. Catching up with all the couples and their growing families. This was a fast paced read full of angst, secrets, emotions, banter, suspense.
For Christiano, With Hate Standalone Mafia Romance (The Chicago Syndicate Book #10) By Soraya Naomi
What a delight to see Author Soraya Naomi back with another book in her Chicago Syndicate Series.
Teagan and Fallon have been friends since high school, so when Teagan moved back to Chicago, it wasn’t her plan to move in with Fallon and Luca, but she needed help and Fallon was going to be there for her. To bad she heard things that put her in the sights of the Chicago Syndicate. They would protect her, give her a job…..all she had to do was marry Christiano Montesi.
Christiano had no plans to marry, he was a bachelor, maybe even a bit of a player, but his cousin is the head of the Syndicate…so you do what you’re told. He knew she was going to be trouble the first time he laid eyes on her and he was right. Now they are married, something neither of them want…so how is this going to work!
She finds his buttons early and takes delight in pushing them time and time again. He decided as long as she resided in his condo he could do this marriage thing but only because he had no intention of coming home at night!
The push and pull, the taunts and dares and teases keep coming until it’s evident to everyone but them that there is something there to build on.
Life in the Syndicate is never dull, so when a press conference by the new Chief of Police climbs up to the top of the list of things worry about. NOW! Is there a mole? Who could it be? Who do you trust? So many questions that need an answer.
The action drives the story line, from two people thrown together, to the Syndicate worried if they are being investigated, readers have a lot of action to keep them occupied.
It was an enjoyable read that moved quickly, the story line had twists and turns taking readers and the members of the Syndicate on a wild ride. On top of the twists and turns of the story line, the growth of the two main characters adds to this book.
Author Soraya Naomi, again has given me all I want to see in a story and it is easy to give this book five stars!
The Chicago Syndicate is back, this time with Adriano's cousin, Christiano Montesi. It can be read as a standalone, but I think it is better appreciated when reading the other books in the series.
The book falls under the arranged mariage troupe, nothing out of the ordinary in the mafia genre and we get two people to marry after one of them hears something she wasn't supposed to. Neither Christiano nor Teagan were happy to oblige, but the peer pressure on tue MMC' side and Teagan 'running wild with knowledge', unprotected and being Fallon's bff made for the setlement.
I liked a lot of things in the story, the genre and troupe are one of my favorites, how different our characters were in almost all the aspects, save for one, the fact that they were feeling somewhat lost at the time they got together. It started with animosity and an attempt to ignore, the push and pull, the growing attraction and the denial.
Christiano was a hard nut to crack, opting for maintaining distance in what I felt as a way to conceal a tiny bit of remorse for the goals set for Teagan at the order of the Syndicate. Teagan was more relaxed and eager to establish a convivial connection, but this was mafia life with a mafia man she didn't know nor had the time to get acquainted with. It would be a sinuous journey for this couple of strangers, married for life and to the life.
With a great dose of action and a mole to deal with, the police, the rivals and everything in between, the narrative flowed energetically and to the pace of events, but I found it a bit compromised due to our characters deneanors and behaviors and some things I thought didn't make total sense, because I might have not understood it.
I struggled with Chris' hot and cold attitude and it seemed he felt like silentely rebelling against something he had no control over and was askew toward Teagan. I understand the inner turmoil regarding wills and wants, but Teagan entered the marriage in the same circumstances, it was not her fault, she did nothing wrong. And why use her for the fall in case anything went down if she was married for life to Chris? I had wished for more angst, conflict and redemption as a corollary too.
The rest of the crew felt welcome and providential, well placed in the time and space, as adjuvant for the great cause of saving a couple, a marriage and the Institution.
The epilogue was the calm after the storm, a glimpse into a very desired and deserverd future and the triumph of love!
