Another fabulous, fun filled adventure for Mira, her unicorn BFF Dave and the rest of Class Red in Unicorn School. With lots of humour, mysterious goings on and great examples of team work from the now familiar group of friends this book is perfect for readers aged 6-10. It could also be used as an introduction to a project on the beach habitat in a primary school classroom.

Back to the world of Unicorn School. Mira's adventurous spirit and Dave's farts. In this book Mira, Dave and her class spend a day on the beach. With buried treasure to find, games to play, a thief to apprehend and many more adventures this has to be one of the best books in the series that children of all ages will love.

Read this one to Violet on the way to North Berwick! We love this series and this was one of our favorites. We both laughed out loud (Flo and Basket!), adored all the wonderful details in the illustrations, and appreciated Mira’s kindness and Dave always being himself.

Not what I was expecting in a good way! Heartfelt and silly, no over-the-top potty jokes. Really well-written.
