5 Stars for Legend by CM Lally

I have been a fan of CM Lally's since I read the first book she published and it has been so much fun seeing her progress and grow as a writer. I think Legend has jumped up the list to one of my favorites of hers. The characters she has created and the story she has weaved are so wonderful and easy to connect to. I adored getting to know Ian and Neenah and watching them find the strength to overcome their pasts. There are even a few background characters in Legend I hope to see get stories of their own in the future. *hint hint*

I voluntarily received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I am leaving a review for Michelle Windsor's contribution "Catching Chase." If the other stories in this collection are even half as good as this was, and I know they are by the caliber of authors listed, you have an amazing book on your hands!

Meagan Lewis and Jasper Chase literally bump into each other outside a hotel entrance and have an instant connection, even with Meagan's firey comebacks. He is wildly attracted to her and calls her a little spitfire. Jasper is a famous NFL player for the New England Patriots and loves that Meagan knows nothing about sports and isn't attracted to his fame, but just to him. They spend a few passion-filled days that will heat your Kindle and warm your heart but they split under heartbreaking circumstances.

When they accidentally run into each other almost 4 years later, can they salvage what they had or did they both burn that bridge by their bad choice actions they made in the aftermath of their breakup? And it's not just them anymore. They have more at stake. I absolutely loved this book by Michelle and couldn't put it down once I started, reading late into the night. This collection is definitely one you want to get for hours of great reading!

5 Stars for Legend by CM Lally - Fame and good fortune is not the be all and end all of soccer great Ian Legend. Letting go of his past and working through his anger leads him down a path that uses his love of soccer to help children. Meeting his neighbor and single mom, Neenah opens up so much more than finding a friend when her son Dane becomes one of the children in his soccer camp. But can two people who have tons of baggage in their pasts break through the walls they have built? With beautifully written characters and a storyline that gets better with every turn of the page this was a fabulous read.

5 Stars for Catching Chase by Michelle Windsor - When a business trip turns into a whirlwind romance, Jasper Chase, football superstar, thinks he has found the perfect woman who treats him like a man and not just a sports star. But when a misunderstanding finds Megan running back home, the relationship ends with a bang. But three years later when the two reconnect, secrets are revealed and misunderstandings are explained can Jasper and Megan start off where the left the romance? Or has too much happened to overcome? With characters you cannot help but fall in love with and a storyline that kept me on the edge of my seat this was a fabulous read.

I am reviewing Michelle Windsors contribution to this anthology...
If the rest of the stories are even nearly as fantastic as Catching Chase then this book is going to be such a winner.
A sheer JOY to read ,Michelle's writing is Excellent and completely drew me in right from the beginning and I did not stop loving it until the end.
The Romance between Jasper and Megan is such a whirlwind they instantly fall in love after a chance meeting in the lobby of the hotel in which they are both staying. Their chemistry is scorching hot and Jasper loves the fact that Megan has no clue that he is a famous NFL star. But as with all great love stories nothing ever goes smoothly and misunderstandings and miscommunication tears them apart,Leaving more than just a few surprises to be discovered...can a love still survive after years apart? ...
Everything about this story gripped me,it was utter PERFECTION..It made me shed a few tears and smile so hard, and I want my own Jasper Chase in my life,I was in Romance heaven.
An INCREDIBLE story that I LOVED to pieces, and it has my highest recommendation to buy this collection of stories.
I can't wait to discover the the other stories ,because reading how Fabulously brilliant Catching Chase by Michelle Windsor was ,then I can only imagine how wonderful the other stories are.
5 Superb Stars for Catching Chase Michelle Windsor has excelled herself AMAZING.

This is a great collection of books written by many talented authors! I enjoyed each of the stories told within these pages and found myself endeared to many of the characters. One of the things that I love about the Leave Me Breathless: The Ivy Collection is that it includes full length, standalone novels and novellas and not just excerpts that one so often finds in these types of anthologies. It was enjoyable to read writings by some authors that I am already familiar as well as discover some new -to-me authors! I read an early complimentary version of this collection.

I’m in love.... (Michelle Windsor’s - Catching Chase)
This is by far one of Michelle Windsor’s best stories! Before I started this journey of falling in love with Jasper and Megan I knew nothing about American football but now thanks to Michelle’s superb writing I know the basic rules of the game...may have also asked for a New England Patriots jersey for xmas too ;) I’ve literally become a women obsessed so much so that I inhaled the whole story in less than 8 hours! I couldn’t put it down!! Such a beautiful 2nd chance romance... ❤️

-Anti-Venum: Vipers MC by Ashley Lane (4.0stars)

That might not be an issue if Ivy wasn’t so angry oh, and a member of a different MC! Can they put their differences aside and work together to help a girl? A fast paced, quick MC read with a great cameo from some of our favorite boys at Heavens Guardian MC. Told in dual POV

This is a good, enjoyable MC romance with some action. Told in dual POV

I’m leaving a review for Legend by C.M. Lally. This story is a continuous surprise. We are not talking about the usual story of a sports’ romance with a famous athlete and his glamorous life, nope on the contrary, the author in this book gives a thorough glimpse of the real life with all its contradictions. Our hero is indeed a famous soccer player. When his life changes in a matter of seconds, the issue will make him revisit his entire way of looking at things . Here comes the heroine, a woman who is running away from her past trying to restart with a son who has a disability. The story is fully developed, their strength can be perceived thanks to the author’s ability of using the right words in critical moments. The entire story whirls around these characters and the others who may seem secondary are very important for the entire book. A story that will make the reader smile and at the same time feel sad but the best part, overall, is that beyond that darkness there is always a second chance for happiness.

Catching Chase is fantastic. Jasper and Megan are so darn hot and steamy...not to mention perfect together. A perfect sports romance that you simply can’t put down. This is one of my favorite stories by this author and I cannot wait to read what she comes out with next.

The rest of the stories are equally fantastic by Evan Grace, KL Donn, C.M. Lally, among others. I have found some new authors that I look forward to reading more from. It’s an anthology you will read from start to finish without wanting to take a break.

I was expecting to skip around or skim some of the authors’ stories in this anthology, so imagine my surprise when I did the exact opposite. I read every. Single. One. I had some familiar authors that I knew I’d love (Evan Grace, KL Humphreys, Ashley Lane), but I wound up devouring every novel/novella between their contributions, as well. Not only did I have a few days’ worth of good reads in one big book, but I found some new authors to hunt for and add to my TBR pile also!

This collection of stories was refreshing. I enjoyed getting the chance to read stories from new to me authors, as well as a few familiar faces. The context of all of these stories, while HEA, are not simply straight forward tales. No, they include suspense, angst and lots of sexy times. In summary, there is a story in this collection for everyone. You will not be disappointed.

Legend by C.M. Lally
This story really resonated with me. A soccer star with a bit of a temper, a single mom with a dark past. What's not to love? I enjoyed the characters in this story. The chemistry between Ian and Neenah was instant; however both are facing challenges which make it near impossible to be together. The story was engaging and I loved the ending.

The Change Up by Evan Grace
Sawyer and MeMe were best friends for years. Taking their friendship to the next level one night, their relationship is irrevocably broken when Sawyer leaves for his new career. Or has it? A chance encounter with a mutual friend reveals that Sawyer left more than a broken heart behind. This story was really well written and moves quickly. I loved the characters, especially MeMe's family. A worthwhile read and a new author I'm going to follow in the future.

Command by KL Donn
This story was dark and drew me in from the prologue. Viktor has power, money, and control. Without ruining the story line, his relationship with Emmy Taylor was unexpected, unintended yet extremely intense. In addition to a budding relationship, there is suspense and mystery as well as a lifelong rivalry between powerful gangs. Amazing story with a great ending. I'm hoping there is more with these characters or this world in the future by this author.

Saint's Angel by KL Humphreys and Natalie Hill
I love MC romances, especially when they involve mystery. This story does not disappoint. Harla's world implodes when a break in results in her learning her life is not what it seems. Saint and Harla's chemistry is instant, but obstacles interfere. I cannot share much more as it ruins the story I loved this story. It was fast, riveting and suspenseful. I want more of these characters and this world.

Catching Chase by Michelle Windsor
I really enjoyed this story. The story was well written and kept my attention. I liked Megan and Jasper. A second chance romance after a chance encounter. Very sweet and angsty at once.

Faceoff by Sophia Henry
This story had everything: a wounded heroine, a single dad, drama and a HEA. Sylvain and Emma both have dealt with heartbreaking challenges in life. He is a single father to an adorable 4 year old. She is a cancer survivor who loves children, robbed of the chance to be a mom. Formerly a teacher for Paige, Emma is hired to be a full time nanny and help Sylvain as his mom no longer can take care of his daughter when he is on the road. With a caustic history between the two, it was refreshing to watch their relationship which was built on preconceived ideas turn sideways. I enjoyed the story and loved the ending.

Anti-Venom: Vipers MC by Ashley Lane
This book starts off with a bang and kept me on the edge of my seat as I read. Ivy is still dealing with her abandonment from Viper, her childhood friend turned sweet heart. Turning her heart break into a mission to save women in violent situations. When Viper returns suddenly, he learns his departure had unintended consequences. The story is full of angst, regret, and mystery. I loved every minute of it.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review of this collection.

Adair

I was so excited to see a return to the Adair Empire, of sorts. Viktor is immediately in love with Emmy. They come together in a way that is unconventional, but is so full of steamy and sweet. There are some hurdles for them to overcome, but love wins in the end!

I thought that this was a wonderful collection of reads. I love these collections so much. I feel it is a great way to take a chance on a new author, while having a safety net of being familiar with others. Plus, each collection offers a wide array of themes so I feel that there is something that will appeal to almost any romance fan, while also giving you a nice sampling to maybe broaden your horizons and find something new to enjoy. A great group of books in a must read collection. This is my elective, truthful review.

This collection is diverse and full of fun stories. I liked that some were longer then others because I could them work each into a different part of my day. The stories are all well written and I discovered some new to me authors. Each story is unique and different, yet fun and full of wonderful characters. I enjoyed them all. Here is a short review of what I liked most about each of these stories:

Legend by CM Lally is a sports romance with a slightly (?) arrogant leading man and a woman who puts him in his place and shows him what is really important in life. A bit heartbreaking but with the ultimate redemption, this was both a bold and sweet story. 4 stars.

The Change Up by Even Grace is a sports romance with a second chance at love and a secret child trope. I liked the story and thought the characters were very real. It’s also about baseball so I automatically drawn to it. I liked the balance the author get in this story. 4 stars.

Command by KL Donn is a mafia romance that has everything you will want: awesome characters, an interesting plot, snark and sass and some steamy romance. I liked the characters in this story best and hope for more from them in the future. I mean, Viktor is hot. 3.5 stars.

Saint’s Angel by KL Humphreys and Natalie Hill is a MC romance that is nothing but yummy alpha goodness. I liked the dynamics between the man and his lady; it helped with the action and emotions of this story. I liked the instant connection and desire for each other. 3.5 stars.

Catching Chase by Michelle Windsor is a sports romance what is beyond steamy. I liked the strangers to lovers’ trope and though the author did a wonderful job of mixing the emotions and actions of these two characters to make a dynamic story. 4 stars.

Faceoff by Sophia Henry is a sports romance that will leaves the reader with hearts in their eyes. I loved the single dad/nanny trope (not usually a fan) and the dynamics that created in this story. The characters were fun to read about and I liked the dialogue between them. Fun read. 4 stars.

Anti-Venom by Ashley Lane is an MC romance where rubber hits the road. I loved that this was a bout a strong female who puts her man in his place but is still capable of forgiveness and love. I want more… no scratch that, I NEED more from these two characters, the story just wasn’t long enough, LOL. Great short story. 4 stars.

I received an ARC and am leaving an honest review.

Review for Anti Venom by Ashley Lane

5 stars definitely! I loved this story and the characters that she has created and that they are in the Heavens Guardian world ! This was definitely a page turner and hope we get to see more from Ivy and Venom ! I love how Ashley Lane makes these strong willed beautiful heroines to go with the sexy alpha heroes and I think Ivy is by far my favorite yet ! Love how she knows how to handle herself but also lets her man take control when needed . Couldn’t get enough of these two and can’t wait to see where Ashley takes us next !
This anthology has a great collection of stories by many of my favorite authors and the stories aren’t short experts but full length stand alone novels ! I’ve also found some authors that are new to me as well , trust me grab this book you don’t want to miss this anthology !

The is a great box set that feature a variety of authors and stories that are centered are MCs and sports. One of my favorites was Legend by CM Lally as it combines an arrogant athlete with a feisty single mother who show each other that past doesn’t have to be their future.

Whether you prefer your stories filled with drama, emotion or humor you are certain to find what you are looking for. They all have great characters that have you invested in their happy ever after and storylines that keep you entertained until the last page.

These collections are a great way to enjoy stories by the authors you know and love and maybe find some new ones to enjoy all in one set.

The Change Up by Evan Grace
Loved this story! It’s a baseball romance about two best friends who end up together before Sawyer goes off to spring training and it ruins their friendship. There’s a few great twists to this story when they reconnect a few years later.

Catching Chase by Michelle Windsor
Such a cute story! This is a football romance that’s starts as a hot one night stand and ends badly after a huge misunderstanding. Fast forward almost four years later when they randomly run into each other..then all the feelings fly! Lots of sparks in this one!

The Ivy Collection is a wonderful collection of full length books by a group of very talented authors. It was a pleasure to read these stories, each has a special couple who were searching for that one person to make you whole,  who makes your life complete and your future guaranteed perfect together no matter what life throws at you, even if it was for the very first time or a second chance in love. It was great reading a new book from either an author you have read before or getting to know a new author, you will enjoy each and everyone of these books.

I am reviewing Ashley Lane’s contribution Anti-Venom. What a great read, as are all of her books. Neat twist with having a woman as Vice President. The novella was fast past and kept you reading and wanting more. The only bad thing I can say is I wish it was longer! It was good to see characters from previous books. Can’t wait to read more from her. After reading this if you haven’t read anything else of hers, go and read her Heaven’s Guardian series, you won’t regret it.
