DNF@Chapter 21 Taboo Daddy is not what I was expecting and everything about it was misleading. I honestly have no idea why Taboo is even in the title. I guess the Daddy part is because he's a single father? Anyway boring characters no mention of the age gap, man still mourning the death of his life mate. Honestly everything about this book that I have read so far is boring including the sex scenes.

Did I read the right book?

The description literally does not follow the story line of the book, at all. Taboo? Not remotely. Supposedly the description talks about an age gap, I dont even think it was even mentioned in the book. It also mentions him being heartbroken... there was like 2 sentences referencing his "brokenness". Also the 2 pink lines and a secret? That never happened. Like at all. I'm seriously thinking she wrote the description of the book as her plot, and then forgot where she was going with her story.
Also, add in grammatical errors and parts of the story where she said something happened and I'm going, "no, that is not what happened." Add in the tortured hero who wasn't tortured except by his own stupidity and this was a miss for me. If the book fit the description, my rating probably would've been higher. As it was, it was just all over the place.

3 1/2 ⭐️'s

I have to say I was excited to read this story. I love stories that have taboo things in it. So I was upset to see nothing taboo in this book- so the title is a little off-putting. Moreover, there was no daddy play at all in this book. So again - the title of this book makes no sense.

The story is pretty decent, and I loved the little girl. Having sign language in this book was a pleasant change. Noah is a wonderful father to his daughter Tess. When they meet, Jenna things seem to click for everyone. Moreover, the chemistry is great between everyone, even the daughter Tess with Jenna as a sergeant mother.

Bottom line, this story is okay. The title has nothing to do with this book.

Came across this on Kindle and I just picked it up. Noah and Jenna are so fire together! The chemistry was so sizzling. Noah was a single father, and his daughter, Tess, was deaf. Their relationship touched me. Jenna came into the picture and fit perfectly with them. I didn't see the twist and turn coming. It was a short and sweet read. I'll have to say, the age gap was not an issue at all. ⁣

An unlikely meeting brings a widower, his daughter and a designer together. This story is sweet, romantic, and intriguing. The chemistry between Noah and Jenna is instantaneous, but they find themselves fighting it for different reasons. An outside threat puts their lives in jeopardy forcing them to fight back in order to get their happily ever after. An enjoyable read!

I received this book with the understanding that I cold leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Jenna Robertson and Noah Clark. Noah became a single dad before he wanted to, but is there ever a right time for cancer to take a spouse. When it comes to his little girl he will give her anything. Well almost anything he does still have to lay down the law sometimes. So when he finds out she skipped school he knows right where to find her but he can't let this keep going on. This is the day he meets Jenna. Jenna is determined to make it on her own. She has started her own design business against her mother's wishes but Jenna wants to feel like she did it herself. So when she finds out her dress for her sister's wedding is done early she knows she has to go. Her mother holds one thing over her head and that is the apartment that her grandmother left her in her will. One lonely looking little girl will change things for Jenna in ways she never expect. Will these two find the HEA they didn't know they were looking for or will forces beyond them make sure this never happens?

This is another amazing hit by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other reader. I will say this book will take you on a roller-coaster you won't every want to get off of. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Jenna is in a hard place, she is an interior designer and is barely making ends meet. And with her sister’s wedding and her having to bring a date is practically making her mad.

Noah is a widower with a young daughter he is still in mourning and doesn’t really care to much about himself at this moment he is also barely hanging there. His daughter is also suffering even though it has been two years. He and Jenna meet when she helps his daughter at a rough moment and Jenna is attracted to the stranger and the love he has for his little girl makes him even more attractive.And Noah is so drawn to Jenna’s pure compassion for his daughter when she was in need.

She offers her services to design his daughter ‘s room and she also brings him alone as a fake date to her sister’s wedding and there is also some issues with Noah’s father business that may leave him with trouble he can’t get out of.

With all of this going on they both don’t want a relationship but their is a pull between these two that keep them going back to one another. This story took me by surprise this was so much more then a single father mourning the death of a love one and finding a possible second chance with someone new it also has the unexpected happen.

Noah had lost his wife and was bringing up Tess his daughter through whom he encounters Jenna.
Noah had lost his father who had left him his business to run then a short while later his wife had died leaving him to bring up their daughter Tess alone. Tess had her own problems in that after an illness she had gone deaf so needed extra care and attention and who was grieving for her mother. When her school rang and said she had missed her lessons Noah goes to look for her and finds her in a shop where she often went with her mother. Besides her is a young woman who seems to be trying to help her. Jenna is surprised when Tess seems to be standing staring into space and is highly upset so she tries to distract her until her father turns up. Tess makes a comment about changing her bedroom and Jenna hands Noah a card for her interior design business.

Who will win between Noah and LM

A good read. Noah, a father is still feeling the grief of losing his wife to a horrible disease. With a child to look after he doesn’t feel the need to find a new love to share his life. Jenna, an interior designer, is living close to the poverty line whilst her mom Lourdes her grandmothers will and wishes over her head to get her to do he bidding. As she does some work for Noah and his daughter it’s clear there maybe feelings involved. As the story goes on it’s clear all is not what it seems as Jenna and Tess’s lives are in danger as Noah finds something out to do with his dad. Intrigue, danger and emotions run high.

I received an arc for an honest review. This book was fantastic. I loved how Noah took care of his daughter Tess after the death of his wife. Tess was deaf, and that added an element where you just fell in love with him more. Tess was having a hard time dealing with the death, and she ventured out one day and "found" Jenna, who is an designer, and they hire her to redo Tess' bedroom. There is so much chemistry between Noah and Jenna - and they fight it as long as they can - and them boom - however, Noah is also in trouble - he is being blackmailed but doesn't know by who - so this book contains chemistry, love, indecisions, and intrigue. I highly recommend this book.

Jenna a designer, meets the pair at the mall, after watching over his daughter when she skipped school. Tess is wanting her room redecorated, so Noah hires Jenna. During this time, they all grow close together. What will happen when someone is threatening Noah and Jenna? Will this new love be able to last? I loved all the added suspense in this story, that kept me turning the pages. I stayed up all night to finish it.

Dilemma, shock revelations, paranoia as you do not know who to trust and the race of a lifetime literally is all in this little bundle to read.
I would not call it Taboo as I did not feel any taboo between the relationship, but more like forbidden, mysterious, elusive to name but a few.

Tess and Jenna clearly go through a lot during the ordeal and thankfully that helps to seal the deal that had been elusive for them.

A captivating storyline that will pull at your heart strings at every turn.

Awesome book for the weekend !!! If you like a love story with suspense along with an older Daddy and younger h, this book is for you. After two years, Noah is struggling with the loss of his wife and the raising of his deaf daughter when he encounters Jenna. Jenna helps Noah’s young daughter, Tess, when she encounters her in a store after she skips school because she is having a hard time dealing with her mother’s death that day. The story flows from there and to spice things up even more, Mafia characters come out to play. Enjoyed this book and totally recommend it !!! 🔥❤️🔥

This was so vastly different from the description that I really wasn't sure how to write a review. There was no pregnancy mentioned until the epilogue, the age gap wasn't mentioned, and I didn't understand how this turned into a suspense story when the description didn't mention it. I don't think I would've read this book if the description had been accurate. Since I did, it was just okay. Way too much waffling from a grown man. He's got money and power, why is he afraid of a mobster? The way he handled everything left a lot to be desired.

1 star is for the hot cover the story gets 0 stars I can't even begin to explain how badly this was written if someone had told me a 15 year old wrote it, it would have been believable. Also there were so many mistakes one minute the H was dropping his daughter off at school in the morning then 20 mins later he's eating lunch???? They h's sister gets married and the first time she sees her Mum or sister is at the evening reception when she is supposed to be a bridesmaid at the wedding??? Honestly is was just a giant mess

Don't mess with this Daddy...

This read came at the perfect time. I had a couple of days off in a row and needed something to read. What a read it was! Loved it!! Noah was the perfect combination of hot male and loving father. Jenna was a good fit for him and Tess. The story-line flowed effortlessly. There was enough drama, suspense and hot chemistry to keep me entertained to the end.

This is a wonderful fast-paced story, I absolutely loved it. Noah is a single dad to his pre-teen daughter who is utterly charming. They are still mourning the passing of his wife a couple of years ago. They meet Jenna, an interior designer who bonds with Tess when she goes to the mall instead of school. The chemistry between Noah and Jenna is sizzling, there is plenty of drama and intrigue throughout the story.

I love when the fathers are so attentive to their kids and in this book Noah is. Tessa is deaf and yet he helps her have as normal a life as possible. Has intrigue and excitement. Would definitely read this author's books again.
