I love a book where the storyline is the hero steals the heroine from the Hero's brother or best friend. It's actually one of my favorites. So when I saw Victoria Ashley did another one, I was highly excited. I was afraid she wouldn't meet my expectations; however, she did, plus so much more.

I absolutely adore Madden. Madden, Rockstar and broken from a past relationship, plan to spend a week with friends at a cabin. His ex plans on being there and won’t leave him alone. Madden comes up with a plan to take his brother's girlfriend, Natalie, as his fake girlfriend. Madden figures it’s safe to take her as he knows there will never be any feelings between the two.

Natalie is a no holds bar and puts up with nothing. Expect when it comes to her current relationship with Madden’s brother. After he stands her up for the last time, she agrees to go with Madden; this is where the fun begins. Of course, there are some twists and secrets. A doozy, I may add too.


Reckless Rockstar is a slow burn enemy to lovers' romance. I love the witty banter and build-up of sexual chemistry between Madden and Natalie, where they developed feelings and the lines start to blur, as what is real and what is fake. I liked all the side characters, even the ex; she did annoy me on several occasions. I would love to see some of the side characters in a book of their own.

A wonderful rock star romance

RECKLESS ROCK STAR arrived just at the right time, I really needed a pick-me-up and this book definitely gave it to me. Victoria Ashley, no wonder I love reading your books. They're fun, sexy and romantic, with touch of angst and drama. This story has it all is was such sa wonderful read.

Madden Parker is the ultimate rock star, parties, booze and girls. However, once he's off the stage and the spotlights are gone, Madden is just like every other man. It's like there are two of him. Three years ago he had his heart broken by his then girlfriend, all he wants to do is move on, but constant texts and messages from her don't allow him to do that. How can he finally rid her from his life? Natalie is Madden's brother's girlfriend. She's sassy, feisty and very much taken. She also doesn't think too highly of Madden.

An annual camping trip with his friends puts Madden in an awkward situation. His ex will be there, and she's one who doesn't know the meaning of the word "NO". Madden needs a girlfriend to join him on the trip, he believes that Natalie would fit that role perfectly, especially since they both don't like each other. I absolutely adored Madden and Natalie, their chemistry, their banter ... just everything about them. She was able to give back as good as Madden gave, it can't be easy putting a rock star in his place. Will this camping trip tun their world upside down? What secrets will be revealed that could destroy friendships and trusts? Will Natalie stay with Logan, or will Madden win her heart?

Victoria's secondary characters also deserve a mention. They really brought some fun, games and angst to this story. I would really love to see some of them have their own story - especially Jake & Jess and Walker. A book with Logan could be interesting too.

This book is awesome.
Victoria Ashley is a new-to-me author and I'm incredibly happy to have stumbled upon her wonderful writing.
Madden and Natalie's chemistry kept me hooked from the first page to the very last. Like every other female in the world, I couldn't help but fall for Madden and as we slowly got to know his true character hiding underneath the rock-god persona I just fell harder and harder.
Nat is a strong and feisty heroine with a kind heart and a soft spot for Madden's heartbreak, the perfect counterpart for the rock god, if she'd only open her eyes and choose the right Parker brother.

I swear to all that is holy i'd do ANYTHING... AN. Y. THING. To have my own Madden! He's perfection. He's ALL. THE. THINGS! He's a wet dream and my favorite cake wrapped into one delicious climax.

I. LOVE. HIM!

You'll swoon from the get go as he shows you his heart. He has his mind set on love and he refuses to accept less. He may scratch an itch but he won't settle. We meet him when he's still heartbroken. Honestly i wanted to jump in there and cuddle the hell outta him!

Thankfully the amazing Nat eventually did it for me. She's Madden's brothers girlfriend and i loved her from the off. Her pink tazer just won me over! She's wound tight when we meet her but as her agreement with Madden unfolds she really comes into her own.

I loved the journey this book takes you on. It unravels Madden and Nat right before your eyes. It's slow and delicious. It warms you from the inside out and i absorbed every word into my heart.

Fun, heartbreaking and sexy i loved their relationship. This story makes you feel everything. The plot is all that you need in a romance book and ticked all the boxes. The end result is a massive smile and all the warm fuzzies you can handle.

The supporting cast was great and i'm hoping some of them get books at some point.

Brilliant as always from this author. She gives you the BEST cocky heroes you could ever dream about. Throat grabbing, confident, caring, loyal, loving and phewwwwww seeeexxxaayyy! Yum! As well as the best gal for your man who'll you'll love just as much.

Highly recommend, grab this Rock Star romance beauty of a book ASAP.

omfg I love this book so much from the storyline down to the characterization. Once I started reading I just can't put it down it was engaging and all-consuming experience. I love the pretend relationship plot arc, there's just something enchanting about two people unhurriedly falling in love with each other, the slow-building of tension and chemistry between Madden and Natalie are unerring. And when they finally got together it was satisfying as fuck.

Reckless Rock Star (Cocky Hero Club) is a well-written book that will give a thrust to your emotions at the same time give you a damn butterflies in your stomach.

The Cocky Hero Club has produced some amazing books thus far - each one different; each one unique. Just brilliant.

I loved Reckless Rock Star! I wish I could put my finger on why I loved about it but I can't I just did. It could be because it is completely different from what I was expecting as the main story is set outside the world of being on the road as most Rocky Romances lately are!

Some reviews may hint that there is cheating in the book but I didn't think so, and that is what set's the book apart in my opinion the is there isn't there which will be a talking point for the book I am sure.

Madden is a Rocky with a big heart when he loved he loved big but when his girlfriend owned up to sleeping with someone else that ended it right there and then for Madden. For the last couple of years he has just thrown himself into the band but that break up did mess with his head, does he drink a little bit to much? Yes! does he smoke a little bit to much? Yes! especially now when it is leading up to the same time each year when he takes a few days of from being famous and meets his friends away from it all just to be him - only trouble is his ex still goes and tries every year to get back with him promising she will never do it again. But this year Madden has a plan if his brother Logan plays along and that is to take Logan's girlfriend Natalie along and pretend they are dating. Shouldn't be a problem as she doesn't really like Madden anyway.

Natalie can't work out how she has gotten herself in this situation pretending to be her boyfriends brothers girlfriend. But here she is for the next 5 days doing just that.

I loved how Victoria Ashley managed to write such a good story within such a difficult theme. How by being away from Logan Natalie starts to unpick her relationship with Madden's brother. I especially loved how Ms Ashley managed to portray a rock star with a rock star edge as such a caring and swoon worthy guy and that even Rockers can have they heart broken!

Just really enjoyed it!

Holy Hotness i think my guilty secret love of Rock Stars has just been reborn by none other than Madden !!!!
Madden has been struggling, between his public Rock Star Life and being pestered by a cheating ex, that he desperately wants to move on from, but how can he when she is still tying to manipulate his emotions. The one thing he looks forward to is his time out getaway with close friends and yet again she is going to be there!! Then he has a light bulb moment, he could borrow his brothers girlfriend as a fake girlfriend for a week Right, it would definitely get Alana off his case !!! Finally !!!
Natalie is really questioning her life, her relationship with Logan is stagnant, they barely see each other and she feels like she's stuck in a ruck, but how is she gonna pretend to be Madden's girlfriend when she seriously feels so attracted to him.
I absolutely fell in love with Madden and Natalie. Hot hot hot, the chemistry between both was volcanic!! Talk about steamy??? I loved this couple together, you know when you start a book and you just feel it right away that this couple are meant to be !!! The more time they spend together, and actually get to know each other, the harder you fall !!! That one big obstacle though, Madden's brother Logan !! we get insights into his and Natalie's Relationship and it makes you feel all the more that Madden is the one for her. My heart and my emotions were help captive from beginning to end, there was no way you could she how this would end, even though your heart knows how you want it to be for both Madden and Natalie. I was twisted and felt their moral anguish right along side them. GREAT BOOK, Great read, characters you can't fail to take into your heart and friends, the kind of friends we would all love to have in our lives!! whether this will be a new to you author or an author you already love (as i do!) this is a book you will definitely need on your bookshelf and one not to be missed !

I find that I'm starting to really enjoy this trope. I had read Steal You Away in the past by this author and loved it. Glad I picked this one up!

I freaking adored Madden! He was a rockstar just needing love. To feel like he was worth it. His ex was constantly trying to get his attention and he wanted nothing to do with her. He knows he has to do something drastic and out there to keep the ex away especially since they will be around each other at the friend trip.

So of course you'd ask your brother Logan to "borrow" his girl, right?! Yep, he knows that there is no way Natalie would ever fall for him so she'd be a safe bet. It doesn't help that she wasn't treated right by Logan. That the small touches, flirting and kisses were things that her relationship was lacking with Logan.

I was rooting for Madden and Nat the entire time! They both deserved to find love... it was just the cherry on top that it just worked out perfectly. Playing house turned into the real thing. No one could be mad since everyone was onboard with her playing the part for him.

I wasn't too shocked about the drama reveal. Kinda saw that coming. I did want to push the ex in the pool though!

5 BREATHTAKING STARS for this story!

Madden Parker, I can’t even begin to explain the intricate precision with which Victoria Ashley has written this character.  She’s left me in complete awe of this man.  This is what romance has been needing.  This man and his story are about to be your game changer. 

Madden finds himself once again spiraling with the knowledge of having to see his ex, THE ONE that broke him. He’s out of control. But an off hand remark has him asking his brother for help. That help comes in the form of his brother’s beautiful girlfriend, Natalie.  But Madden is desperate and  Natalie may be his saving grace.  Fighting her own insecurities and needing some time to reflect, Natalie agrees to help Madden.  What she doesn’t expect is the attraction she feels for him and the ebbing betrayal and questions of her relationship with the other brother.   

Madden is all in when he’s in a relationship. His love and devotion ever present, ever enveloping.  This man goes the distance for what he deems important.  Victoria Ashley has written a character that while having a past and demons, still displays the true character and meaning of what a REAL MAN stands for...Love, Honor, Devotion.  Madden Parker will play to your every sense and make your heart ❤️ sing!

There are some books you read the minute they land on your kindle and there are some you put on a list. Reckless Rockstar is not a book you put on a list. Feel me? *wink* lol I’ve enjoyed this author’s work in the past and when this ARC landed on my kindle, I jumped on it. I wanted to read something sexy and it delivered. It delivered in an understated seductive kinda way. Most of the interactions between our leads were like foreplay and it was delicious to read. When the walls finally crumbled it was that much sexier.

Both Natalie and Madden are easy characters to root for. The way the author unfolded this story lends itself to that. It was rather captivating and emotional and just so darn sexy to me! There’s not much about the plot that I want to tell you about because I want you all to be as happily surprised as I was, especially with Madden :) This story was #winning from beginning to end. Well done!

I see no chemistry, no love...no nothing building between the two.

from the very start to this point, there is no tricky or exciting plot and the characters themselves aren't winning any prizes either.

I mean, H is so obsessed with his ex and has reminded us like a billion times how much he's not over her, how perfect they were together, how easily she can get him back, and that scares him..... cuz she cheated.

But he has no problem hitting on his brother's gf 24/7. even before borrowing her for a fake relationship.

and during their acting, all they do is, he gets close to her in front of ppl and the ex, and she gets uncomfortable...so much for pretending to be in love right?

and in private he teases her, flirts with her, and reminds her every f***ing moment of how she should get treated and how his brother isn't the man for her.

and now at this point, the ex has kissed him and he kissed her back for a couple of seconds before coming to senses and goes back to h....
I'm tired already.

seems like the author thought of the plot but didn't manage time balancing for the characters to improve their behaviours or redeem themselves or develop their personalities...nothing.

Madden was a reckless romantic!!

Reckless Rockstar, Madden Parker was just as cocky as his cousin Chance Bateman, and he had every reason to be. He’s gorgeous, talented and he’s at the top of his game since the girl he’d dated since high school ripped his heart to pieces and he’d written the bands’ break out song, and album, jettisoning them to the top. He might look like he has it all, but I loved this truly romantically inclined bard who would trade it all in a heartbeat just to have another shot at true love. I also greatly admired his resolve not to trust the one who broke him, but holy hell, he hadn’t forgotten what it was like to be in love and to lose it all, so the ex’s tenacious and continual texting kept putting his head in a really bad place.

Her view of their break up was definitely coloured with a persistent shade of stalker that’s for sure. I mean she had seriously checked out or gone off the clock, and needed something more than the understanding and pandering that their friends gave her, something like ... erm ... a RESTRAINING ORDER!!!!!

When desperation forced a desperate plan, Madden asked his brother if he could ‘borrow’ his girlfriend for the annual week-long trip with their best friends knowing he needed a relationship to hide behind in order to get this chick to back off. It made for great reading and some surprise and cringe-worthy moments, but oh-holy-hell, Madden was so sweet, sexy and delicious, I could just slide off a chair even thinking about him. When he said he would trade it all for love, you could see that he would invest his whole self into a relationship. Hell’s teeth, I was damn near begging Natalie herself to just dump the brother’s lame @ss and take the sexy Madden for a spin! (Notice I said dump first, spin second!)

No more from me, because no spoilers, only to say that I love what I’ve read from Author Victoria Ashley, and though this is a little more light-hearted, the chemistry between Madden and Natalie was pretty well on point. I certainly loved Madden’s surprise admission towards the end. For those who have been enjoying the Cocky Hero series, who love broken hearted rockers and fake relationships, this is a great read so get in on it! 4.5 Stars 💙

Victoria... you never cease to amaze me.. I have been waiting for this book FOREVER!!!! This book was phenomenal.. amazing.. heartbreaking.. and downright beautiful!! I loved everything about this book... and with as much as I hated his Ex.. Alana.. I just had this feeling deep down.. that she truly was sorry for what happened..

Madden Parker is the ultimate rock star, he does the parties, the booze and of course the girls... but when the spotlights/cameras are off and he's done performing he is just like every any other man... he wants that one true love... and he had that.. until one night he had his heart ripped out by the love of his life made and the ultimate betrayal.. he still doesn't have any idea who it was and part of him doesn't want to know.. all he really wants to do is move on with his life, but constant texts and calls from her don't allow him to do that... and now with the yearly camping trip coming up in just a couple weeks.. he is dreading going.. he knows she will be there...

When a plan is put into place for Madden to take a "fake girlfriend" on the trip.. to hopefully get his ex to leave him be... it has to be someone that will work.. someone who wont fall for him and vise versa.. insert his brother Logan's girlfriend Natalie... and this may just work.. because see even though in the past both Madden and Logan may have went on these trips none of them have met Natalie.. and Natalie is NOT a fan of Madden.. but she wants to help him out.. so she agrees.. even though she is not really happy about it.. .

This book is full of LOL moments, sexy hot scenes and a slow burn romance like no other... My heart was about to beat out of my chest thru out this entire book..... OH AND OMG I can not believe I completely spaced it but if you've read Cocky Bastard... well our favorite Aussie Chance and his beautiful Aubrey (and the GOAT) make an appearance....

Madden is everything you think a Rockstar is, the parties and the girls, he’s reckless, but then there’s the other side of him where he’s like every other guy, wanting to move on from his ex-girlfriend that broke his heart.
Madden thinks taking his brother’s girlfriend on his annual trip will solve the problem with his ex who won’t leave him alone, and he knows Natalie won’t fall for him and he won’t for her.
Natalie can’t believe Logan agreed to her pretending to be Madden’s girlfriend, she’s already having doubts about her relationship with and him letting Madden borrow her only makes it worse.
They both realise that there is more than just a show going on with neither wanting to admit it, a game of truth or dare heats things up more.
When a bomb is dropped just before they leave, it makes Natalie realise that she’s been with the wrong brother and it’s time for her to be the reckless one and get her Rockstar.

Reckless Rock Star was my first Victoria Ashley book and it was sooooo gooood!!! I loved Madden and Natalie and the chemistry between them was off the charts!! This book had me hooked from the first page, and kept me hooked till the very end. The other players in this story were pretty awesome too, didn't much like Madden's ex who he was forced to see on the yearly trip to the cabin, and that's where Natalie comes in...she pretends to be dating Madden. he figures she's the best one for the job since she's already dating his brother and there would be no chance of her falling for him....or is there??? Madden's ex broke his heart and she's been constantly calling him and texting him wanting to get back together. I so wanted to see her get what she had coming to her, and there is a bomb that is dropped during this getaway!! Some things are revealed that opens Natalie's eyes and makes her question her relationship with Logan. In the end will Madden and Natalie end up together? You'll just have to read this book to find out!!

True to Victoria Ashley’s nature she Rocked it with 5 Stars!

Madden is struggling getting over his ex and Natalie has a huge heart and is willing to go into a fake relationship with her boyfriend’s brother to get the ex to move on and leave Madden alone so he can move on also. Wow, the chemistry between Madden and Natalie is sizzling. The more I got to know them I fell in love with them. I was cheering for them. The Slow Burn about killed me is was so damn good. All the secrets that came out made my blood pressure rise. I loved all the characters and hoping to see some have future books, especially one that I’m still angry with because I think he still needs to redeem himself (don’t want to give the secret away).

Amazing book, as always, all the feels. Always a 1-click for this author.
Buy it and fall in love with the ‘Rockstar’ and his girl ‘Nat’.

God, I loved this book and I totally fell in love with Madden and Natalie. The story was unusual to what I would usually read, although I love rockstar books I was a little apprehensive. Especially when I read the blurb and my immediate concern was cheating.

How stupid was I to be concerned. For me this book didn't contain cheating, although part of the back story does contain it. Leaving that aside. This story is brilliant. It was refreshing to read a rockstar that is the one that is broken hearted, not the other way around. To say this is complicated, is an understatement.

Apart from what I have said and what the blurb says I can't say anymore. Just know its brilliant, unusual and ends so beautifully. I totally recommend this book. I laughed and loved the banter and I cried hard. I've read a few books in the Cocky Hero Club world and this is one of the best to date.

Y'all, I just fell in L.O.V.E with Victoria Ashley's newest book-Reckless Rock Star!!
Dayummm he was everything for sure!!

"He's a manwhore, Kayla. Trust me, you don't want to meet him or else you'll end up in his bed with a broken heart just like every single girl he's slept with."

It all started with request he asked from his brother, a simple request, well that is what he thought it was going to be, simple, for her to be his girlfriend for only six days.

He could do this, right?

She could do this....right?

Well you are just going to have to read and see. It's never that simple, especially with a sexy as sin playboy Rock Star.

Of course as with all Victoria Ashley books, they are sooo freaking HAWT and this one is no exception. I fell in love with all the banter and that push and pull!! This rock star for sure kept me turning those pages way into the night!!

Great book! I love fake romance stories and this one had an interesting element She is his Brothers girl but pretending to be his. I was worried how this was going to go because there was definitely a serious attraction going on but couldn't figure out how no one was going to get hurt. Throw in a witch of an ex and I was hooked.
There was a past secret at play, I figured it out early but I needed to see how this played out.
Everything played out perfectly!! I got everything I wanted.

YES!!!! Nothing makes me happier than getting to read a new Victoria Ashley book...throw in a hotter than ghost pepper rockstar...and my day is made.
Madden is who ALL the women want, a sexy, smooth-talking crooner who can melt the panties off of even those in the back row of a concert. When trouble presents itself in the form of someone who won't take NO for an answer, he enlists the help of the most unlikely person ever...and it's the beginning of one seriously steam-filled and at times funny adventure.
There is plenty of romance and sexually torturous angst in this book, as well as some serious life lessons, but above all else, it's a fun and entertaining look into what happens when a rock god is brought to his knees and finds out sometimes life has a funny way of getting all twisted around until it eventually ends up in the right place.
I absolutely loved this new Cocky hero romance and highly recommend it.

Holy hotness! Madden and Natalie's story rocked my world. These two completely stole my heart. His heartbreak and trying to keep up the Rockstar persona but then seeing his real side made me fall even harder for him. Natalie was perfect in her compassion, kindness and she definitely deserved a man who'd put all her needs, wants and desires first. Their chemistry together was so dang hot! I really enjoyed reading their story. It's another fantastic 5 plus star read in the Cocky Hero Club world.

This book if full of emotions and the heat factor is off the charts but it is the off limits that makes the heat so hot. Madden is a rock star with all the rock star stereotypes. He drinks too much, he parties to much and his reasons for doing so is his long time girlfriend, best friend and love of his life, cheated on him and he can't seem to move on especially when she won't leave him alone. She continues to beg him to take her back and he knows with their annual friends trip coming up she will be there and he will cave in to her once again. He needs a distraction and for her to believe he has moved on. The only woman he can even consider taking is his brothers girlfriend, Natalie. She hates him so she would never fall for him but now to convince her to go.

Natalie can't believe Madden, the nerve but she is fed up with her job, her boyfriends lack of caring and decides a trip away is what she needs even if it is with Madden. Little did she know he is nothing like his rock star persona. He is the perfect boyfriend even if it is fake.

This is part of Vi and Penelope's Cocky Hero Club and Madden is Chance's cousin which is where it ties in. I enjoyed this book, the only thing I was a little put off by was how weak Madden appears by not being able to just walk away from his ex and move on but that would have blown the entire story so it all make sense and works. He is a sweet and caring man and loves with everything he has.

I received an early copy to read and review with my honest opinion. I enjoyed the book and love that is is part of the Cocky Hero Club series and I recommend it.

Natalie and Madden's feelings and their intense attraction are obvious from the very start. Reading as they fell was entertaining and steamy, signature Victoria Ashley. I loved this rockstar and the only woman to love him for his true self.

Victoria Ashley does it again! Everytime I pick up one of her books I completely lose myself in the story and Reckless Rock Star had me hooked from the start.

I’m not a huge rock star fan but if anyone’s ever going to change my mind it’s Madden. Jeez this guy is something else. I thought I was getting a well known star that comes with the usual roving eye and revolving door of different women. And I did get that...at first, but then the real Madden made an appearance and I was done! Game over Madden you win, you made yet another woman fall for you. Ive claimed him as my book husband he’s that irresistible.

Natalie was extremely easy to like. I wasn’t expecting to love her as much as I did but from the start you get the feeling that she’s a genuinely nice person and it’s hard not to like her.

I loved this book. I haven’t felt this sort of excitement about a book for way too long, I don’t think I put this down once. Definitely recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

This was one fake relationship romance I didn't see coming and I am all here for it! Natalie and Madden have amazing chemistry and I just loved that they start off not really liking each other. Their banter and back and forth had me unable to stop smiling. Madden is just arrogant thinking every girl, except Natalie, falls for him. The joke is on him when he is the one falling. This was funny, sexy, romantic, a little angsty with some drama. I couldn't put it down. I loved the secondary characters as well and now I am hoping some of them get their own story too.

The main character Madden is a successful rock singer but he tends to have a habit of being a on the reckless side..
The female character Natalie is a fiesty lady.. but she has a love hate relationship with Madden..
Things get really heated between Madden and Natalie;
It's a super beautiful heat too..
I love the sass banter between Madden and Natalie.. it's very entertaining and had me snickering throughout the whole story.
