I want to thank Abby Green for sending me this book. She is a really nice and kind lady not to mention talented. In this book we meet Gabriel. He is the jilted fiancee from 'Confessions of a Pregnant Cinderella'. Gabriel is stealing his rival's fiancée but sweet Eleonora steals his heart. Their marriage seems convenient at first but Eleonora falls in love with her sexy husband. When she finds out she can't give him the heir he craves she is heartbroken. She believes only love can save their marriage and Gabriel is not in love with her. Or so she thinks lol

I loved this book. I found Eleonora having such an inner strength, that I found endearing. Gabriel is a bitter man who hates his brother. However it was interesting seeing him soften up his heart toward his loving wife and eventually towards his brother. Very compelling love story that pulled at my heart strings. The epilogue with their twin babies, one boy and one girl made me melt. Great ending! I applaud books that make me want to read them in one sitting and this was one of them.

Such an enjoyable read.

Loved both heroine and hero.
Their character development was excellent and had multi layers.
Appreciated the family theme and Leo's brother, his story was touching and sweet.
Was engaged from the first page to the last on cheering these two on to their HEA.
Chemistry and sexual tension was jumping off the pages with these two.
Appreciated their interaction and adult approach to their relationship. Also how it evolved.
Loved, loved the epilogue.
Warm and feel good romance.
Highly recommended.

“Redeemed By His Stolen Bride” is the story of Leonora and Gabriel.

Our Spanish billionaire H is out for revenge from his alleged half brother, and decides to attend the latter’s engagement to an impoverished socialite. What he does not expect is the intense attraction to the h, or that he would find himself seeking her when her betrothal breaks!

As she seeks comfort in his manly arms, passion ignites and they have a one night stand. But as the H discovers her dehymenation, he soon vows to marry her. It’s a marriage based on lust, or atleast that’s what they tell themselves..

This was a great read! I really liked the h as well as the H. Their backgrounds were well explored- his past with his family, her with hers, their commitment to their siblings and each other, the H’s tumultuous relationship with the “rival” brother and the sexy lovemaking scenes. The angst element is contributed by the well written reality of endometriosis, and the epilogue is a sweet ray of hope.

Very enjoyable!

Absolutely loved this book! Abby Green is always so consistent in how she writes her books. The heroine is always so innocent, so honest, insecure about her looks and allure but terribly passionate once the hero awakens her! And the heroes are always so strong, in control, but really unhappy and insecure underneath, until the heroine changes them with her innocent love and purity.

So my one favorite moment in the whole story is when Gabriel comes to pick Leo up for their first date (after they've already spent the night together) and she fumbles for a handshake, like a girl who's never really had to deal with dating and sex before. And then he gathers her close to him and kisses her on both cheeks in a way that's totally respectful, yet somehow bone-melting and sensual too!

Now I want to go back and read CONFESSIONS OF A PREGNANT CINDERELLA because Sky and Salazar are in this book and they seem like an amazing couple. Thank you Vashti for tracking down the title for me!

A great conclusion to the duo of Rival Spanish Brothers, but not nearly as perfect as the first book. The story was sad & emotion filled, but it did not have the same angst level as the previous book. Perhaps, as I read the books back to back, this one felt just a touch clinical in some places.

Boy did this couple have to work for their HEA. This poor heroine, Leonora, kept sacrificing so much for her ungrateful parents; as was proven when her mother made rather insensitive comments when Leonora was faced with a devastating medical diagnosis. The hero, Gabriel, had to carry the burden of keeping his prestigious family's coffers filled while his parents selfish and hedonistic lifestyles meant he and his younger sister had to raise themselves, which is very similar to Leonora's upbringing.

The best part of the story though, was the epilogue! The final scene with Gabriel and Lazaro and their beautiful families was very touching. It was heartwarming to see that they accepted each other and were forging a new family together. I think both brothers realised that while the other had something he wanted, the family name for Lazaro & and freedom from obligation for Gabriel, they had so much more in common. Another very satisfying set of books from the incomparable Abby Green.

Another classic Abby Green rollercoaster of powerful emotion and unbridled passion with a surprise twist that adds an extra layer of heartache. We originally met Gabriel Ortega Cruz y Torres and Leonora Flores de la Vega in the first book in the Rival Spanish Brothers duo - Lazaro and Skye's story. I have to admit a real interest in this book because when Abby was planning the first story I was the one who said I really wanted to read Lazaro's jilted bride's story... So I feel entirely responsible for this magnificent and deeply moving story (my role is in the dedication if you don't believe me)... Anyway back to this wonderful book. We first meet Leo (aka Leonora) again at the moment when she is jilted, about to have her arranged engagement to Lazaro announced when in rushes Lazaro's pregnant ONS Skye ... But that's enough about them, if you want to know their equally tumultuous story you need to read Confessions of a Pregnant Cinderella. Anyway, as luck would have it at the back of the room when Leo is jilted is Gabriel, Lazaro's rival half-brother, who rescues her from the deep humiliation by spiriting her out of the event. Leo is so lost and alone at this moment you can't help but feel for her and even though Gabriel has hidden motives for his rescue - or so he thinks - it's equally apparent that there is a visceral connection between these two that cannot be denied. Leo is desperate to escape, if for only one night, from all the responsibilities heaped on her by her once rich, now destitute family, while Gabriel as it turns out is in want of a wife. Their chemistry is undeniable - in an uber hot scene you will not want to miss! And so he suggests marriage, ostensibly to produce heirs. And Leo agrees because she had already agree to marry Lazaro to save her family, so how can she deny the same bargain with Gabriel. But after the marriage, it's clear that something much more powerful is developing between these two - to everyone but them! I really enjoyed how Gabriel and Leo fall in love so completely while never really realising what is happening to them both, until a really dark moment which you seriously won't see coming – which forces them to reappraise everything they thought they wanted from their marriage. I have to salute Abby here for taking a classic Presents trope and effectively turning it on its head, thus creating a really vivid and emotional – heartbreaking and yet heartwarming – final third to the story. I don't want to say more as it might reduce that emotional gut punch but suffice it to say my heart bled for these two, while also rejoicing for them as they finally come to realise how much value their love has on its own. An absolute corker!! I'm so glad I suggested it!!

I was hoping for a revenge story since heroine is the jilted fiance of the hero's despised half-brother. Alas, the conflict is about infertility because of the heroine's endometriosis.

There are all of the AG touches - like the aristocratic heroine being allergic to spending the hero's money and trying to support her impoverished family by the most inefficient ways ever invented. (Tours of the family's crumbling estate - really?) Hero hates his father and has a reformed drug addict sister.

The H/h have lots of sex and probing conversations before the happy families (with the half-brother) epilogue.

This story was nothing like I was expecting it to be especially based on the information I go from the previous book in this duet Confession of a Pregnant Cinderella where I believed I knew what was coming from the book and what going to be, and what Gabriel was going to be like, and I was really looking forward to that story based on the perceptions I had of what a was to come. Well, let me tell you I was totally wrong about where the direction of this book went, and that was what made it so freaking fantastic. It blew me and my expectation out of the water. I was so surprised by how much I loved this story, and the direction that it decided to take. This could have been very much an atypical Harlequin Presents stories with very many familiar themes and tropes that I really enjoy reading due to about, but this story just turned everything on its head. Yes, it still had Presents tropes, but totally different ones than I was expecting, which the story even more engaging and interesting to read, and I loved that.

I think the biggest surprise about this book, and why I wound up falling in love with the story was the character of Gabriel. I swooned over him so many times. He touched my heart quite a few. He made aww a few times. He just made my heart expand out of my chest until I thought it would burst out of my chest. He was amazing, and I was so impressed with him for a multitude of reasons in the story, but mainly he wasn’t the guy I thought he was going to be from reading Confessions of a Pregnant Cinderella . I thought he was going to be this blackmailing, a’hole alpha male intent on getting his revenge on Lazaro in any way possible, and I thought he was going to do that by using Leonora to get back at Lazaro and throw it in Lazaro’s face again and again while not caring about Leonora’s feelings in the process until he got deeper into the book and began to really fall for her then the groveling scenes would come to play, which that storyline would brought a lot of drama, angst, hurt, and just good old fashion tension between the pair of them.

But he was very different from that it blew my mind. I usually want my Presents to be a’hole alpha males and that’s what I tend to be drawn to in this line, Gabriel wasn’t that. He was an alpha, but a different type of alpha. He was very kind, tender, sweet, and cared a lot about Leonora from the moment the met. There was desire there too, of coarse, but there was always more than that and the pull he felt towards Leonora. He never wanted to hurt her. He never really attempted to use Leonora for revenge against Lazaro, and even when she believed he did he felt bad that he even thought to do for a second and was repent that it even crossed his mind in the first place. And he genuinely sorry for what he did and the pain the might have caused her and that was amazing to see. Plus he really cared about her as a person even in the beginning. He wanted to get to know her and would ask her questions about her life and was genuinely interested for other reason than he wanted to know. He never had ulterior motives. How interacted with her brother who was mentally disabled. And the dates he planned for her on their honeymoon because he just wanted spend time with her was just utterly adorable that I fell even more in love with him. I loved how he wanted deep intimacy with her both physically and mentally throughout the story and when that was taken away from him it literally devastated him to not have that with her anymore after they built a great amount of intimacy between them throughout the story. It was very, very clear that he cared about her the entire time and kept wanting more and more of her the more time they were together. He was just smitten with her, and it was so stinking cute and adorable. Oh, and when he called her “Leo” that first time my heart practically mentally. Such a swoon worthy moment.

I didn’t care he wasn’t they typical Present hero that I usually fall for her. He just was in a category all his own, and I loved him so much. I could go on and on about him. He was such an incredible hero, and he beats that stereotypical a*hole mentality. This was the perfect example of how to do a Presents hero as not an a*hole with a softer side, and it totally work. Usually it doesn’t work for me, and I feel like the hero’s too nice or missing that edge to him that makes me really interested in his character and his story, but not in Gabriel’s case. He was everything and more.

Another thing I adored about this story was the level of caring between Gabriel and Leo even on in the book. Yes, there was an intense physical attraction between them from the moment their eyes met at her engagement party, but once he whisked her away, their involvement became even more intense. They got to know each other and began to understand how much they had in common because of the rich world they came from and wanting to do the opposite of that shallow existence. They understood what it meant to be in the world and grow up in and not like it. That was really where their bond took off then it just carried on all the way through the story. They would have these really great conversations with one another that were emotional as well as promoted intimacy between the two of them, which I thought was great. It really showed them getting deeper and deeper with each other and falling in love. I didn’t have to be told that because I could see it happening with own eyes. I loved seeing time together and not in the bedroom either. They had some romantic moments that weren’t bedroom moment, which was done really well and I was amazed by it. This felt like a romance in a way that sometimes romance novels do not hit, or feel realistic. This one felt very realistic, and I got major feels about the story for most of it.

Their passion and chemistry was shown off really well. They had this intense physical attraction, but also had an amazing emotional bond that made their love scenes really good because it was more than just physical for them. Admittedly I was a little concerned that the first time scene happened a little closer in the story than I thought it was without a lot of build up and anticipation that hadn’t quite happened yet, but in this circumstance it totally worked because of what came after with the emotional and intimate storyline as well as the physical side of their relationship. Granted they had lot of love scenes throughout the story, more than I was expected, but they weren’t as detailed as the first time scene and last time scene. They were just peppered in there throughout the story especially during their honeymoon scene. I also think what made the first time scene okay for me was when Gabriel grabbed her hands and interlocked their fingers together as they made love. Whenever a hero and heroine grab hands and interlock their fingers together that just big turn on for me in romances. It’s done few and far between in stories, but when it happens I just melt and usually after that I’m totally into the story. And that last love scene really packed an emotional punch especially after what happened previously where they hadn’t been intimate in over a month and lacked that intimate connection between them that they really needed but weren’t getting, but once they did. OMG. It was so intense and so emotional. It was something they were missing, and that was their closeness to one another. That bond that they needed, and it was heartbreaking and uplifting at the same time. It was just done really, really well done on so many levels. Just all their love scenes were really good because as passionate as they were, they were just as intimate as well.

My only tiny disappointment was that I wish the scene with Matias and Gabriel was shown in detail instead of summarized. I would have liked to seen their interaction with my own eyes, instead of just being told what happened during that interaction. I know I really swooned when Gabriel suggested to going to see Matias and genuinely wanting to meet him because Matias was such an important person in Leonora’s life so Matias was important to Gabriel too. That made swoon even more for him. It was an aww moment. But I really wanted to see their meeting in more of a detailed way even if wasn’t the first time they met, but sometime in the course of the book. I just would have liked to see that relationship develop between Gabriel and Matias. Now that I think about it there wasn’t really interaction with Matias shown in a detailed way. It was more summary whenever he was on the page. I would have liked more.

I am sure I could go on on about this story for another fifty paragraphs because I loved it so much, but bottom was that I was impressed with this story. It wasn’t what I was expecting at all. I was very surprised about the direction it head, and how much I loved the direction it did decide go. Mainly the thing that mostly sold it was Gabriel. He was an awesome hero. It was a sweetheart. He was very swoon worthy throughout the entire book. I never hated him once nor did questions his decisions ever in the book. It was very clear that he did what he did because he felt that pull to Leonora both attraction wise and emotionally. He cared about her from the beginning, and it was very clear. He showed it so many ways like holding her hand when they together in public even if people were around he just wanted that connection to her. He never used her for revenge against his half brother, though might have crossed his mind for a brief second his heart was never it. I just loved him. I loved them as a couple. I thought they made adorable, cute couple. I loved how I could see them fall in love with each other as they spent more and more time together as they got to know each other throughout the story. They truly had these great conversations between them because they wanted to know about the other person. There forced communication. It flowed really well and felt genuine the entire time, and I loved that. They had some very sweet and romantic moments together. They had some great passionate love scenes. They had really great moment of intimacy. They just had a lot going for them. I just loved their romance. It was incredible.

There’s no question in my mind that I will rereading this one over and over again. I can see this going on my favorites list very easily. This was the book that I didn’t know that I wanted but needed. It was just awesome. It will hold a special place in my heart. I can see myself returning to it again and again. It was so good.

Highly recommend for Presents readers as well as readers that love great intimate and passionate romances, and who is ready to swoon multiple times over a really amazing hero that you’re gonna fall in love with.

I enjoyed this book much more than it’s predecessor Confessions of a Pregnant Cinderella.

Gabriel and Leonora’s story was sweet and sad. After her supposed to be fiancé left her standing in the middle of their engagement party for the red head claiming she was pregnant with his child, Leonora accepted help from gorgeous Gabriel to escape the crowd and the paparazzi.

He took her back to his place, had a fantastic night with her and woke to an empty bed. Gabriel tracks Leonora down and proposes. The make a MOC pact. He will help her struggling family if she marries him and provides him with an heir. Plus, they have explosive sexual chemistry so it promises to be a good marriage. All went well, until it didn’t and their lives are turned upside down.

It’s a really heartbreaking story that turns out well for the characters in the story, but in reality, the condition they faced in the book devastates women’s lives daily. It’s painful physically and emotionally. I appreciated the author’s handling of the subject. It can only help others in the same situation to know that they are not alone in this. It just feels that way. Talk to someone. Find a group. Online. In person. It’s a painful burden. Share it with others who understand and will support you.

When I finished reading ( confessions of a Pregnant Cinderella) I was so excited about Gabriel's story and expected it to be as good as his brother's story (Lazaro) but it was not ...unfortunately
The best 2 parts for me were the last 2 chapters and the epilogue! , the last 2 chapters were about the h being rushed to the hospital, my heart broke for her she thought she will never be able to have kids but thank God they got Pregnant and have kids 😊
The other thing I loved in the epilogue was the appearance of Lazaro and his pregnant wife Skye and their cute son .

An unexpectedly sweet and cosy read. It was a long book and with not much drama to the main plot, the pace of the book felt like real life. I felt the couple grow together from the start of their marriage to their HEA.

Leo is married to Gabriel in a MOC after her engagement to another man is rudely interrupted. Gabriel is her literal knight in shining armour. I liked both the h and H. Leo was strong, sweet and adorable. Gabriel was an assertive alpha H. I loved how he owned his decision to marry Leo. There was not a single day when he didn’t follow up on his wife and not just physically. He was attuned to her like they’d been married for many years! He was also an attentive lover who stopped at nothing to make sure Leo was treated like a princess!

There’s some misunderstanding later on and for once I came crumpling to my knees after the H proclaims to the h why is it that his wife doesn’t think their marriage is worth fighting for! Gabriel owned my heart right there. Most men would just hold up their pride instead!

It could be a shorter book imo. The epilogue was also sweet!

Liked this one - the story of Gabriel and Leonora (fiancée of Lazaro, whose engagement ends when Skye declares he is the father of her child in the companion book). It is a great, adult story of love developing between 2 people who are actually rather lovely.

The resolution between half brothers Gabriel and Lazaro is a real bonus. Very enjoyable story.

Decent sequel, telling of Leonara's rescued by Gabriel after Leo's fiance publicly dumped her. Because the reader had Gabriel's viewpoint, it was obvious that his feelings ran deeper than he would admit.

My experiments in HP land never succeed. This one is OK, but I think part of the problem is these newer ones seem to lack the substance of the ones I remember so fondly from years ago. Guess I’m just stuck in Ye Olde HP Days of Neels, Winspear, Lamb, et al. Ah well...

If you read companion book you notices that the heroes just need to be friends! This story was a bit bland. And the heroine's being sick came outta no where, as if it was tossed in there for conflict. Eh read the other book instead.

Redeemed by His Stolen Bride by Abby Green is a sexy and compelling marriage of convenience romance. It’s also a sequel to Confessions of a Pregnant Cinderella, an equally engaging and enjoyable story.

When Leonora Flores de La Vega’s engagement party ends in a shambles, and her decidedly not engaged, one man comes to her rescue – Gabriel Ortega Cruz y Torres. She doesn’t know why he was at her party (now her humiliation) but she takes his offer to hide her away from the paparazzi with gratitude. She can’t deny she’s attracted to him too, and when he seduces her, she’s a willing partner. For Leonora, it’s a night she won’t forget but she’s surprised and somewhat mystified when he calls her up to go on a date, and then proposes marriage!

Gabriel hadn’t thought of settling down but after his night with Leonora he knows she’s the one he wants in his life, to be his wife and mother of his children. He also can’t deny that his initial interest was piqued by her being his rival’s fiancee first. He doesn’t believe in love, but he knows they’d be compatible in and out of bed, and he can help her with her financial troubles – one of the reasons she had agreed to her previous engagement that went awry. Leonora knows it’s in her best interests and her family’s to agree but can she keep her heart from wanting more?

I was definitely interested in reading Leonora’s story after she is jilted in Confessions of a Pregnant Cinderella. I already knew from that tale that she would end up with Gabriel as they were both secondary characters but I really enjoyed reading their story in full. The chemistry between them is sizzling from the moment their eyes meet and their first night together is passionate and sensual. Gabriel makes sure that Leonora is fully consenting and gives her chances to change her mind but Leonora is ready to lose her virginity to the surprisingly tender yet confident Gabriel.

From then on she can’t resist his advances and his proposal – he’s pretty swoonworthy even if he is clear that love isn’t on the table. They have plenty of time together on their honeymoon and even when Gabriel goes back to work he finds that he can’t stop thinking of Leonora. Things take a more emotional turn later in the story, problems relating to infertility that affect them both and make their happy ending all the sweeter. Plus, there is some family drama as Gabriel comes to terms with his greatest rival being his half brother, something he had known but not really believed. It’s a thoroughly enjoyable romance and I’m so happy to see Leonora find her perfect match.

One minute she is almost engaged to a rich man to help her impoverished family, the next minute she has sex with the H. All in one day.

I missed the romance or the pursuit. I like it more when the H has to do a bit of pursuing before she sleeps with him like a H did in vintage HP’s.

I thought this would be a revenge story, but it isn’t. He is a nice guy.
