This is the second book of the series I’ve read and it did not disappoint! This is perfect for my four year old who is always wanting what others have. It’s such a cute way to bring up conversations with kids that are hard to discuss when it’s actually happening to them. My kiddo is much more receptive to learning from a story. Again, love the moral and the discussion suggestions at the end. Can’t wait to get into the others in the series!!

Wow! Great read!

As a teacher, I’m always looking for stories that I will enjoy as much as the children will and this twist on the Billy Goats Gruff hit the nail on the head. The illustrations are fun and pair well with the authors rhythm and rhyme! Plus, it is a great conversation piece for social emotional learning. Loved it!

Fun retelling

The reasons the goats crossed the bridge are finally unpacked and we discover that their motives were perhaps a bit petty! Great lessons here!

Gosh darn goats!

Another brilliant installment in the series. This time those pesky goats are the real culprits! The poor troll is an innocent bystander who just looking for some peace and quiet. A fun story about learning how to settle for what you have and that the grass is, in fact, not always greener on the other side. The ending was unexpected and hilarious.

Amazing!

The concept behind this book (and the others by this author) are simply genius. This one is our favorite so far. My son was giggling as I read it and loved chatting about the questions afterward. The artwork is gorgeous and it was a blast to read out loud.

Smart book with a clever twist

This is a charming take on a classic story with a twist of a lesson on gratitude. The story is written in clever and humorous rhyme. The illustrations are well done, too.

Gratitude ☺

A super rhyming story with a spin from the fairytale, Biily Goat's Gruff. Fantastically entertaining, well-written and full of grateful messaging. The grass isn't always greener on the other side. 🌠

A very interesting version.

The grass is never greener on the other side and if you always look for that then you will never find what you are looking for, sometimes it is see the good and bad of both.
