Jane As Alpha of the Silver Fang She-wolves, it’s my job to enforce our survival code:
1. Obey Your She-Alpha 2. Hunt or be Hunted 3. Never Trust a Man
But now that the Red Claw are invading our territory, our code is being turned upside down! The only way for me to ensure my pack’s safety is by negotiating with the old-school Alpha of the Devil’s Wolves MC. But first, he’ll have to learn to respect who I am—a proud She-Alpha.
Case As Alpha of the Devil’s Wolves MC, I ensure that my pack follows our code:
1. Don’t #&CK with me! 2. Never Kill In Cold Blood. 3. Whiskey is For Drinking, Omegas are for Breeding.
My pack has been without mates for far too long, and with the Red Claws moving in, I’ll need to negotiate with the most stubborn she-wolf in the southwest. But first, she’ll have to accept who I am—her Alpha Daddy.
18+ Only. Full length shifter romance with an HEA.
J.L. Wilder likes wild things! Her alpha shifters are gruff and tough, with a pinch of tenderness. Curl up with these bad boy book boyfriends, and they will have you howling at the moon!
When not writing shifter smut, J.L. spends as much time as possible exploring the outdoors. She loves getting into trouble with Ace, her Siberian Husky.
I didn't think I'd enjoy this one and read only because of a challenge had to fit in this week, but it was surprisingly good. The language was too over the top but the characters likable enough, the villain a hefty foe, a few betrayals tossed in, an actual story line of sorts with some action. Not much humor or introspection into other character's lives, but worth a read.
Title: Alpha and Omega Release Date: #AlreadyReleased Author: J.L. Wilder Reviewer: Ingrid Stephanie Jordan Serial: Standalone, No Cliffhanger Genre: #PRN #Alpha #5Stars🌟⭐🌟🌟🌟 •••••••••••••• 💢 This book was epic. You really want to read this. I loved how it started, I loved how it ended and I love to have a wolf like Case.
🔹️Jane Ford is an Alpha WolfShifter of women’s Silver Fangs Pack this was travel times for these she wolves pack because there was an enemy and he wanted her girls can she stop him?
🔹️ Case Shaw Alpha of Devil Wolves and motorcycle club for wolf shifters. They had a problem with another Pack Alpha who is trying to take over, every pack there was so he could be the most powerful Alpha with all the territories . But Case wouldn’t let that happen he had to stop him, then the girls came asking for help! Can Case stay away from them?
The story starts out with a pack of she-wolves being attacked by another pack. The Silver Fangs are special in that they are an all-female pack that live off the grid in the desert. In this shifter world Wilder has created, male shifters can only have children with female shifters, so Jane's pack is highly coveted. The other pack, led by the big baddie Garrett, wants to basically absorb the Silver Fangs in their conquest of the area. The ladies understandably want to keep their independence, so they turn to the second biggest, and oldest, pack in the area, the Devil Wolves to see about teaming up.
Truthfully, I found the direction of the plot pretty predictable. It's pretty obvious who the double-crosser is, and I wasn't surprised by any of the twists. I also thought Jane was a bit too over-the-top bitchy in the beginning. Like the author was trying too hard to make her seem tough.
Even though this isn't my favorite Wilder novel, I really appreciate that the author is always trying something new. So many shifter books are the same handful of plots rehashed over and over, but Wilder always creates something I've never read before. They don't always work for me, but I really appreciate the creativity and will happily try more of the author's work.
When I did a search for “Omegaverse M/F” this book came up, so I bought it. Let me make this clear: this is not an Omegaverse Romance. Nope. It’s about power struggles. Power being seized by the big bad. Power being coveted by a pack Beta. And power between two Alphas, a male and a female, both shifters, one of whom must become an Omega because reasons. There apparently isn’t honor enough that there can be a partnership; instead absolute submission is required. Of course, it’s the female who must submit to the male because apparently it’s the 1950s up in here. Not only must she give up being an Alpha, even though she’s the one who ended the big bad guy, but she must become an Omega. WTF? I still have a headache from rolling my eyes so hard. Oh, and her all-female pack is about to be absorbed by his all-male pack. Just as frosting on the cake. I give this book two and a half stars. I’d have given it two stars, because not only is the book sexist, but it’s extremely predictable, but there were some good sex scenes that merited an extra half star. However, the sex scenes were good, but not good enough to redeem this male-chauvinistic drivel.

The chemistry in this book was tops very sizzling. Action throughout. The storyline was thrilling and exciting. I wanted more at the end of this book. Looking forward to more fantastic reads by this author
This was just an ok read. It didn’t blow my socks off and I’m not a fan of how abruptly it ended. The angst between the main characters was a bit fun to watch though and as simple as it was the story wasn’t half bad.
A good story but by the end, it was not for me. I loved it until the author took the spine right out of the female alpha when she submitted to a chauvinistic male alpha, making her an omega. Wait. What? Why? For what? Love? When he'd have mated her anyway? Another thing that left a bad taste in my mouth: Isn't it the unspoken shifter rule that whoever kills the alpha of a clan becomes the alpha of the clan? Not this female alpha. She did the dirty work and her clan got absorbed into the male alpha's clan, cheated by their own creator. A perfectly strong character was made weak for no good reason, after she'd fought tooth and nail literally to stay independent throughout the story. Anyway, I have to give credit where credits due though. This is one heck of a tale, with neck-snapping twist and turns. The last one turned my stomach sour. I would suggest this author make the lead females damsels always in distress and leave them that way. That way, we're not surprised when the characters bow down in the end after completing the most important task in the story.
Two alphas joining together. Who will submit and become an omega. Jane is the alpha of an all women wolf shifter pack. Case is the alpha of an all men shifter pack. Both are being attacked and harassed by Garrett and the Red Claws pack who want to take over the whole southwestern U.S. Jane and Case decide to join forces to defeat Garrett. But they need more allies. They travel together to get help but things don't go as planned. They are betrayed. Can they recover and save their packs? Watching tough Jane soften a little was great and Case grows more and more into his alpha. The only part I didn't like about this book was there was too much swearing. A little would be okay but the amount in this book. Needs to be toned down a little. F... word used way too much.
Alpha and Omega (Devil's Wolves ND Book 1) By J.L. Wilder
Sweet, what a thrilling ride this story was!!! Case and Jane are both explosive characters.
I think this is the first time I have read about an all girl wolf pack and I liked it. To be an alpha and omega was fascinating to read and oh how them women had spunk.. Man did Jane give Case a hard time, but he sure did like it lol.
Fun and exciting with all the sass and sexy muscle I enjoy reading.
I have voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. Reviewer for Nook Books and More Blog.
Jane is the Alpha of the all-female Silver Fangs pack and Case is the Alpha of the Devil's Wolves all-male pack. Both are facing war with the Red Claw pack ruled by the vicious Garrett. Jane and Case form a tentative alliance and are looking for ways to fight the Red Claws but when they are together, sparks fly, and not only the adversarial kind. These are fully developed characters with strong personalities, who must face intrigue, betrayal, and chemistry to take out a devious foe. The action is fast, sometimes brutal, and always moves the story along. I am not a fan of motorcycle-based packs but this one is a winner.
This story is about compromises. Jane is the alpha of her all female pack. Case is alpha of his. They both have a problem with Garrett and his pack trying to take over the entire territory. With two alphas, they are both bossy. But can she submit to Case? Can they win the right to keep their packs? There are surprises aplenty that you need to read for yourself. I am leaving this review for having received the ARC but I do so gladly because this story is about compromises and finding out about yourself. You will not be disappointed with this book and will want to read until the end.
I came here for the smut and the smut was not delivered. The first sexy scene happens around the 50% mark... and it isn't even that great. I have plenty of A/B/O fics with better content that this book.
The writing was a bit poor, I rolled my eyes a few times at the cheesiness. The wording was poor, it say the least, but the author threw in a few "big" words she must have found via thesaurus.
I do not recommend this book. However, I kept reading it till the end, the intrigue was alright, hence the two star rating.
Love this. Two strong-willed alphas bump heads. The threat to their packs bring them together giving them an opportunity to rethink some things. I enjoyed their give and take and compromise. I love that they are mature, they have great chemistry and they are evenly matched when it comes to their protective skills and thrive to survive. Action-packed, steamy and suspenseful love story. Plot is interesting and have a few twist and surprising revelations.
Jane and her crew of girls just wanted to live free out in the desert, but there was an Alpha who was determined to have the largest territory in the SouthWest. He didn't care what he had to do or who he had to eliminate in the process. That tends to make the girls just a bit wary, maybe staying g our in the desert isn't as safe as it used to be.
This was a great read with two powerful shifters that were each the head of their own packs. As they fight a common enemy, they get close enough to join not just their packs but themselves. Action packed and full of romance. I loved the charachters. There is also a bit of intrigue with other people trying to be the alpha leader as well as a double cross. Loved it!!
A beautiful Alpha female wolf shifter who leads her pack of female wolves comes across a pack of bad shifters who are trying to take over her area. Her pack has to flee to the city and she arranges to meet another pack in town. When she meets the Alpha of the city pack she feels an attraction that she wabts to fight. What happens will thrill readers and is why I would highly recommend this book to all who love great romantic shifter tales.
Fast-paced, action packed storyline with powerful, protective shifters. This book grabbed me from the first chapter and took me on a wonderful ride throughout the remainder of the book. There is so much chemistry between the main characters, that they make you feel as though you are a part of their story. Great start to a new series.
Case's pack is the Devil Wolves MC. Jane's pack is all female and they live in the desert. The area is Phoenix. Another alpha and pack are trying to take over the full Southwest one pack at a time. An interesting story with love, betrayal, attempted murder, and violence.
This wolf shifter story has many packs fighting for ultimate Alpha of the entire South West. A pack that isn’t following the rules is overwhelming smaller packs and they either fold in or die. What happens when bad boys come across an all female pack? Furs gonna fly.
It was a well written book, but I just forget into it. The character's interactions were a little off to me. One minute she didn't want a man or need a man, then she's telling him if he wants to re-use then do it??? Then out of the blue she loves him. It was just a little lacking with nothing showing her thoughts.
I enjoyed this book. I liked the idea od a strong female alpha whose pack of women doesn't back down.
Case and Jane are two alphas who have a chance at defeating a common enemy if they can truly unite their packs. Their growing feelings for each other complicate the situation.
The story has lots of action and a good romance at its heart. I enjoyed the story and liked the characters.
This was a very interesting and entertaining read I loved everything about until the end. I was like really why did the female alpha have to fully submit to the alpha wolf and to top it off make her a omega. That kinda ruined it for me. But overall it was enjoyable and entertaining read.
So, all in all this book was okay. However, I feel like it could have been better it just didn’t hit the mark with me. I felt like it needed more character development, more plot and action, and also more reader interest points. It was an okay book but it won’t be one I will remember for a long time or brag and talk to my friends about having read. 3.2
This will get your heart pumping. Fabulously different story, powerful and raw, I love the power struggles. Don't know if you can top this in a series, but be my guest!
Exciting and fast paced story. This is a great shifter romance with lots of action and twists keeping the suspense going right to the end. There can only be one alpha but which one will it be ?
This story was incredible, outstanding, exciting and just plain fantastic!!. J.L. is an amazing writer and fantastic storyteller 😄😊. Can't wait to continue reading 📚this series.
