perfectly acceptable but basically forgettable retellings of mostly well-known tales. There's three separate illustrators; one is stunning, one's pretty great, and the third is solidly in the uncanny valley.

Read this when I was a child in elementary school. I will say it was my first time reading a rendition of the original The Little Mermaid, which broke my young heart. My favorite in this collection was Snow White and Rose Red.
