After reading the traditional tale of Robin Hood, the hero who stole from the rich to give to the poor, the reader is invited to turn the book upside down and read an updated version told from the point of view of the Sheriff of Nottingham.
Avl on openlibrary.org. The Sheriff's pov is unfortunately not very convincing, though. Granowsky did a wonderful thing with his 'another point of view' books but somebody needs to reinvigorate the concept and write books that more sincerely express the worth of both sides of the story. In the meantime, these would make great mentor texts... in fact, you don't even need to find a copy of any of the books, but just discuss the concept with your students.
