I wanted to grade it 3 stars, but all in all I had lots of fun while reading it. Not all the stories were as entertaining, they never are, but the overall reading experience was rather good. Strong vibes of ふしぎ駄菓子屋 銭天堂 just more macabre (yet still appropriate for younger readers). The weakest point of the book would be it's main characters from each story and their ridiculous motivation. Good choice for spooky Halloween reading.
