"She felt oxygen deprived when he was near, like she'd been standing too long atop a very high mountain, everything else small and diminished in the face of his presence."

"Whatever happened, they were with Farrell, and that meant they were safe."Jenna and Farrell managed to find their way back together only to be ripped apart once again. No matter how hard Farrell tries to protect Jenna from the dangers of his world, they continue to find themselves smack in the middle of every car chase, kidnapping, beating, and shoot out the dark side of London has to offer.
"He was who he was. He loved her like no one else ever would. But the decision fo come to him had to be hers, and it had to come with full knowledge of who he was and what his life meant."As Jenna continues to battle her desire of keeping her family safe and her draw to Farrell, Farrell stops at nothing to show her that he is more than willing to be everything she needs. As the secrets are revealed, their bond only continues to grow. Jenna finds herself admiring Farrell and the plot shifts as Jenna and Farrell band together to face their adversaries.
"Her body's reaction to him was raw and elemental. Animal. Primal. Unstoppable. Allowing him to possess her body was inevitability."Told in dual POV, Primal only continues to captivate me as the plot continues to develop. Farrell and Jenna have to solve a mystery, keep their family protected, and manage to find the time to explore each other intimately (wink-wink)! Farrell is quite the hero with his charismatic demeanor and his "alpha male" ways. I am happy to see Jenna is developing more as her faith in Farrell is growing stronger. Together these two are a force to be reckoned with! Another happy addition to this read is the setting! I love being transported from London to Italy to Paris and all while riding along on high-speed chase!

You can't have it both ways, Jenna. You want her to be safe, but you want her to be free. That's not how the world works, and I think deep down you know that.
But I wont let you down again…they'll have to come through me.
He was who he was. He loved her like no one else ever would. He could protect her and Lily like no other man could. But the decision to come to him had to be hers, and it had to come with full knowledge of who he was and what his life meant.
She knew there was only one life for the both of them. A life with him. Whatever that meant. Whatever it brought.
…his gaze piercing through every defense she'd ever laid against him. It was the gaze of someone who knew her. Who loved her. Who would die for her.
No more indecision. No more running. Just you and me.
In a dog eat dog world, being the bigger, meaner dog was your only defense.
You could try to hide, but the world was filled with danger, and when that danger rose up to meet you, there was only one kind of response that made sense.
Fight or be beaten. Kill or be killed.
And she would do either opf those things to protect the people she loved.
