Wow!!

This book is written like it's actual true events. The characters and the storyline were so tightly interwoven and all the police procedural stuff.....wow!! Everyone should give this book a go. It's the first by this author that I've read but it won't be the last

Needed editing. It bothers me when writers don't know the difference between its and it's, your and you're, or pallet and palette; but that's what an editor should notice. I also had real problems with the way the author introduced information. When a character works in a building, stays in a hotel or eats at a restaurant, I don't need to know the date the building, hotel or restaurant was built or why, unless it figures into the plot. When many characters were introduced we got his or her entire life history and not just his, but his parents and their parents. TMI, it bogged down the story.
The author explained everything, even common references -
"Well if it isn't my favorite two detectives, Dick Tracy and Sam Ketchum." He was referring to Chester Gould's legendary comic strip characters.
I don't like it when I need a dictionary to decipher every word used, but I don't need quite as much of his explanations.
Would I read another of his books? Probably not for the above reasons.
I did think the story was interesting, but it was a time-consuming read.

Excellent writing

This book has many twists and turns. It is very interesting because there is a lot of historical background information that is fascinating. There was a lot of time,effort and research that went into writing this book. Excellent mystery with so much more.

Couldn't put it down!!!

I was totally shocked at the end. Definitely worth reading! This was my second book from this author and I can honestly say I am now a fan.

Another great read from the good Doctor. Will definitely be looking for more from this talented author
