A very beautiful collection of poetry of Michael’s heart, published in a book. An amazing read, and very honest, raw emotions in every piece. I loved it. I recommend everyone to check out this collection.

It embraces a range of human emotion. From general observation on grief or chaos to particular reflections and mostly love.

An amazing collection of words. After reading the online copy I plan to purchase the paper copy once available as it's a book that needs to be on everyone's bookshelf.

It's been a long time since I've sat down to start a book and ended up being so enthralled and read it all in one sitting. Truly lyrical words that flowed seamlessly within my soul

I went into this collection with high hopes but came away feeling underwhelmed. The themes of love, loss, and self-discovery had a lot of potential, but the execution fell flat for me. Many of the poems felt repetitive, with the same ideas rephrased in slightly different ways, making it hard to stay engaged. The language often leaned toward clichés, and while there were a few standout lines, they were few and far between.

The prose sections didn’t do much to elevate the collection, either. They felt more like personal journal entries than crafted pieces of writing, which made it hard to connect with them on a deeper level. While I appreciated the vulnerability and honesty behind the words, the lack of polish and originality made this a tough read. Unfortunately, this one just didn’t resonate with me.

The author divides the book up into three sections: Heart Poems, Soul Poems, and Mind Poems. In each of these sections, he expresses the deep reality and drawing that people feel when it comes to love and loneliness.
Heart Poems expresses the joys but trials of learning to open up to love, as well as the amazing things that come with love. His heart poems make you crave that old-fashioned romance with all the letters and flowers. Then, Soul Poems expresses the difficulty but bliss of learning to love yourself. The author expresses the difficulties within his past, and how he uses them to shape him into becoming a better man. Finally, in Mind Poems, the author gives us the hard reality of society and taking care of mother earth, while also the struggles of anxiety and the unrest the mind can face as it processes everything going on day in and day out.

A beautiful collection of poetry and prose by M.Tavon. This book mostly consist of love/heartbreak poems, stating about Love is a Drug and jotting Poems and Metaphors to clarify, such as using the word "Ecstasy". I seen Michael threw in some Nature Poems as well afterwards which I loved.
"My Roots" and "The Phases of" were my favorite out of the Nature Poems. "My Roots" reminded me of what I write myself in my poetry, it's short and sweet and talks about leaves, branches, and roots.
"The phases of" Goes into detail about the Moon and Michael compares the Moon to we Humans, this is known as personifying which I also love using in my writing as well. Phenomenal read! Thank you for sharing the world your beautiful poetry book, Michael!

This book was exactly what I needed and desired. The emotions made me feel everything, I sang along to a lot of the heartfelt songs this book plays. I’m a person who runs a lot on my emotions and others all well, and often I find myself thinking that I’m the only one who feels and thinks like I do, then I read this book and was amazed at how many of us share these same feelings and how well everything was presented through the words he chose to share. It’s a beautiful read, I’m sure many more will get to connect with the sense of love, healing, and honesty shared in this book.

There were a few poems that stuck out to me: "The Moon," "Bliss," and "Flowers." However, besides those, I felt that most of the pieces were unpolished. It feels more like a book for someone just getting into poetry, and I am not a part of that target audience.
