The final book in the series has arrived!

A wizard on a break is like having your dangly bits whacked repeatedly by a maniacal tennis fanatic with a lot of balls (which happens quite a lot). It sucks.

Unsurprisingly, entering the magical fray once more came with the usual problems, and they kept on multiplying.

Faces from the past began to surface. Some welcome, some not so much. It was like they were all trying to tell me something, and that something wouldn't be nice.

Cerberus upped their game, people were dying all around me, and I had this horrible feeling this was all heading towards a dreadful conclusion.

I should have seen it coming, but where would the fun be in that?

Hi, I'm Arthur "The Hat" Salzman. Gangster. Wizard. Fighting the good fight until the end.

I can’t believe we are at the end of this series. Alas, all good things must end. This last one contains all the mad-cap, frantic action, and great fun the reader has come to expect from this series. Arthur always seems to be in the thick of things, and this one is no exception. Except this time, everyone might die if he doesn’t fix it. I love this series ender…except for the very end. Now, I can’t say much, as I don’t want to spoil it, but I do think it would have been hard to end it another way. That doesn’t mean, however, that I’m not a little…sad about the ending. I also would have liked to learn a little more about George, Penelope, and Sasha. Maybe in the next series the author writes. Recommend, and I was provided a copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

Sharp Edges is the twelfth and final book in the Wildcat Wizard series by Al K. Line. The complete series is available in a boxset, twelve books for the price of one #winning. What a great way to get your book-binge on.
The Wildcat Wizard Complete Collection Box Set contains the entire Wildcat Wizard series by Al K. Line. It is an epic, original, and intriguing urban fantasy series - woven with wizards, vampires, magic, paranormal elements, action, adventure, mystery, suspense, danger, drama, humour, heists, quests, the supernatural, and interesting quirky characters.
The Hat is a great character, he’s a bit of an anti-hero, as he gets caught up in quite an adventure (or two) with a few heists, mobsters, criminals, villains, and dangerous and dramatic developments to contend with. Along with his fairy godmother, they take us on quite a ride- one you won’t forget anytime soon.
Happy Reading…

Thank you, Al K. Line!

Great series, and must read

I've read so many books and have finished this series awhile ago. I'm sad when a great series ends. It's got a great character development and the author is great at what he does. I'm not a reviewer but felt like I needed to say something. I love Kim Harrison and Jim butcher. I think this series is one of my favorites and is just as great as the them. I'll be keeping an eye out for other books.

A good night's read.

Series ended with too many loose ends, hence the 4 stars. Will definitely be checking out the author's other work.

Full Disclosure – I was provided a copy of the book by the author as a member of his “A-Team”, however, have voluntarily chosen to write a review. All opinions are my own

Destiny Awaits

Sharp Edges is the final in the Wildcat Wizard series of books by Al K. Line. Picking up several months after the close of Sand Storm, Arthur is doing his best to live a quiet, non-danger-filled, life much to Vicky’s dismay. But it seems that the universe has other plans for him when George and Penelope turn up missing. What initially starts out as a birthday prank gone wrong turns inadvertently into the catalyst for the beginning of Arthur’s final and arguably wildest adventure to date. With only one life left and the adversary well known, Arthur must pull out all stops and call in many favors. Because the stakes are so high, this will be the fight of not only his life but the life of the entire magical community. With Cerberus back with a vengeance unlike anything he has ever seen a defeat would be devastating for everybody dear to him.

After having followed the adventures of “The Hat” for nearly three years I feel like with this final installment that I am saying goodbye to a friend – and honestly, I have dragged my feet on this review because I really don’t want this series to end. I am pleased to see that my sentiments seem to have been similar to the author’s very own as Sharp Edges not only is a great send-off, but also a nostalgic walk down memory lane with the return of some previous characters for one final stand against their ultimate enemy. But familiar characters aside, Line still has time to introduce us to a new character in the form of “Betty” the enchanted sword who seems set to be a thorn in Wand’s side for many years to come even if we the reader are not there to witness it. Even leading up to the final chapters, I was secretly hoping that the Hat had one final trick up his sleeve and that the outcome we all knew was coming wouldn’t happen, but all good things must come to an end and unfortunately for me, that also includes this series.

Now that this series is finished I can’t wait to see what new cast of characters Line dreams up for his next series, but while there are still some unanswered questions for me at least – I am also hoping for a return to tie up loose ends or check on those that the Hat left behind.

Who wins every time

This series of books answers that old question of who always wins in the end 💀, in some of the funniest story's I've read in a long time. I will be recommending the series to all my reading friends and tell them to read anything else by him as I'm going to do myself. If they gave out six stars i would have given them that👍👍

Brilliant as always

What can I say, i have loved this entire series, after stumbling across it by sheer accident when I needed a gap filler once I had finished the Dresden series the wit and humour is so well done but it has made me very wary of hairdryers. This book did bring a tear to my eye though.

The Last Book

I have thoroughly enjoyed the Series! I will miss It, I thought the ending was a bit premature as in the story ended when I wasn’t expecting it. Overall, a few days after finishing the last book, I’m ok with the ending.

A pleasure of reading as always, a sense of loss the series has finished. Go and spoil yourself and read them all

Scrappy ending

The ending just is really unsatisfactory and felt lazy. I think the series could have finished with previous book,; this one felt like a waste of time.

Another great one

Another great book in the series. I enjoyed the ride, but I hope that it's not over. I will definitely keep reading to find out.
