What I like about this book is how Johnson depicts each letter with a large attractive watercolor illustration, and below it in smaller pix, shows how her subject is used or interacted with. For example in Lamb for 'L' she shows a man shearing the lamb, bales of lamb's wool, a wool sweater and a child hugging the lamb.
