Debby Giusti is a medical technologist who loves working with test tubes and petri dishes almost as much as she loves to write. Growing up as an Army Brat, Debby met and married her husband – then a Captain in the Army – at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Together they traveled the world, raised three wonderful Army Brats of their own and have now settled in Atlanta, Georgia, where Debby spins tales of suspense that touch the heart and soul.
Her Forgotten Amish Past is a very exciting story written by Debby Giusti. This story is filled with wonderful characters, thrilling attempts to capture an Amish young woman, and forgiveness from past mistakes. The storyline is very good and exciting that you will keep reading to get to the conclusion.
Becca Troyer has been beaten, chased thru the woods, and framed for murder but she can't even remember her name. Zeke Hochstetler is in the right place on a deserted back mountain road when he finds Becca wondering aimlessly by herself. He scoups her up and takes her home to his Aunt Hattie's farm to help her. When she finally awakes to realize her past is gone Hattie decides she should remain at her house. When another young actress goes missing attacks against Becca and Zeke start happening. Is Becca really her name or has she made it up to satisfy Zeke? The mystery that unfolds is really remarkable.
I was not given a complimentary copy of this book to read and review. I was not approached to post a favorable response. I have rated this story with five stars for meeting my expectations of a very exciting story for others to enjoy.
Congratulations to Debby Giusti for writing another thrilling and exciting story for her readers enjoyment.
I have always enjoyed this author and this one did not disappoint. The mystery kept me interested and guessing until the end. It was an easy and quick read. Even though it is a ‘Christian faith” based book - it is not “heavy” preaching. I would recommend.
A pretty good read, though both the romance and the suspense are resolved fairly quickly and easily, all things considered. The ending is very sweet, though.
This was a good book. A young woman running for her life, rescued and hidden by an Amish farmer and his aunt. She doesn't remember who she is or why men are after her but she is determined to survive. Falling in love with her rescuer is an added bonus.
My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Her Forgotten Amish Past. I really enjoy Amish books. I really enjoy suspense books so this is a no-brainer for me, especially since it's written by one of my favorite authors. This book is well written, action packed, and full of faith.
Becky Taylor was working for the Montcliff Studio when she sees something she shouldn't see and is struck in the head. She comes to to find a dead body and the weapon in her hand. Not aware of what she's doing she takes off running. She is chased by someone. She falls down an incline and strikes her head. When she awakes she finds she has lost all of her memories except being chased. Can she trust this Amish man that finds her?
Ezekiel Hochstetler is driving down the road when he sees something moving on the road. An Amish woman, was she sick, confused, or disoriented? He couldn't tell but he knew she needed help. He took her home to his aunt's. They care for her but she remembers nothing. Ezekiel has a troubled past and can't afford to be hurt again. Someone was out to kill her how can he keep her safe without losing his heart?
A horrifying journey to find out her past and who could want her dead. God has a plan for these two, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. Give Him your life and ask Him to do something with it. Then watch Him turn your life around.
Debby did a great job with this story. Becca Troyer steps into the middle of a problem that Debby hints at by what happens to Becca. Her hero Zeke Hochstetler has a interesting past that makes this mystery more interesting. For it makes the question of Faith a central part of this story. The other thing that is interesting is the mystery to solve. I love the way Debby has us thinking about wether this person is alive or not. She has clues throughout the story. As for Becca she has her own personal problem to solve and it makes this story even more interesting. As the story comes to an ending and the pieces come together you get to see the mystery solved and a love grow. Its a great book and worth reading. J
Someone wants Becca Troyer dead, but who or why is a mystery to her. She seeks refuge at the home of Amish farmer Zeke Hochstetler and his aunt Hattie where she hopes to stay one step ahead of the killer. While her memory gradually returns, her confusion increases. Becca and Zeke must untangle the truth before her pursuer discovers where she’s been hiding. “Her Forgotten Amish Past” is an exciting mystery. It kept me guessing until the end. I also liked the look into Amish life and culture. The romance progressed too fast for my taste or reality, though. The kissing content at the end is a bit graphic for a Christian book, too.
Read this in 2 hours. Debby is one of my go to authors for Amish. Love her books. Met her last year such a delight wonderful nice lady. Keep em coming Debby, love reading your books, so does my mom I share them with her.
Another lovely Amish love story that will warm your heart! Debby once again writes a suspenseful love story between an Amish man questioning his faith and an English woman who desperately wants to live the simple Amish life. Highly recommend!
