Dani and Max story only gets crazier as we read into book 2. It was unbelievable to see the people that Max and Dani were growing into because of each other. When they are with each other they see the life they want to have or wish they did have.

I think seeing Max’s point of view was something I looked forward to when reading book 2. Because on the inside he cares and loves the people who are his designated family but on the outside we see this hard wall that he has put up because of the life he grew up in. But because of Danika we see how much he’s changed and how much he worked hard to keep the people he loved.
For Dani was so awesome to see her become confident and comfortable in her own skin for once! no matter what people said she stood her ground and stood up for herself and what she believed in!
Always the ending ended in a cliffhanger but it was so good! And I cant wait for the next book!

Fantastic second book in the series. It picks up exactly where the first book ended.
The story is full and bursting with lots going on. The characters are brilliant. I love the two main characters Dani and Max. But also some of the other characters are awesome as well. Rupert, john...

The chemistry between max and dani is electric. I love how they're slowly changing and morphing into two incredible characters. This book picks up its pace from the first. It's a reall page Turner and I am flying onto Red Queen book 3.

These are awesome books and I highly recommend them.

This is the second book in the Red Thorns Crew series, and the continuations of Max, and Danika's story. This was another great read in this series, the characters are well written, and have explosive chemistry, and I was glued to the pages the entire way through. This is intense, suspenseful, mysterious, dramatic, action-packed, twisted, gritty, emotional, and steamy. This is a must read, and I can't wait for book three.

I beta read this book, and I am voluntarily leaving this review.

You need to have read book 1.

Max and Dani’s relationship became stronger in than book and Dani become a stronger less weak person. She found someone who enables her to become who she was always means to be. But does her relationship cost her more than her old self? Find out in this fantastic, unputdownable and enjoying read. This is a 5⭐️ read.

Well, Dani and Max are now dating and look who’s jealous? Hannah! And Benji! Yep, Hannah, the one who keeps insisting Dani to party and give away her V-card to some stranger, who keeps telling Dani to live a life is now cranky and mad at Dani for dating Max. I mean Hannah, you got your wish girl, and now Dani is happy so why can’t you?

Also, it seems like Hannah doesn’t do much here but to trigger Dani and always get in her way, I get that she’s just being her bestfriend to pull out Dani from the mess she’s in, but damn girl - get a life! Hannah’s life literally revolves around Dani getting a lovelife, I’m starting to think Hannah is in love with Dani LOL

And as for Benji, yeah Benji you’re a sneaky little bastard. It’s a coincidence when he tells Max to wait for him outside the dorms and while Max is waiting for him, 4 unknown men jump him and beat him till he can’t feel his ribs and breathe properly. Max won’t allow Benji to join their crew because he knows Benji is smart and has a future ahead of him. But Benji the bastard didn’t like to feel an outcast so he betrayed Max and the crew.

Dani is now in between the light (goody two shoes) and dark (skipping classes) and this girl gets annoying. I really can’t imagine that she’s in college because her behavior is more like highschool. So irritating! The way she also thinks she can just barge in and try to be a hero who will save the day, is pathetic. I mean, Max’s environment literally screams danger.

This whole book is all about Dani and Max getting at it, Hannah and Benji’s bitching about how Dani and Max shouldn’t be together, Dani’s parents giving her number to a guy while dreaming of having grandkids already, Dani befriending Max’s bestfriend and brother, Max getting jumped and unable to defend himself, Dani falling into Ashton’s (Max’s dad) trap, and that’s it.

Read my review on the 1st book

3.5⭐️

This is book 2 in the series and picks up right where book 1 left off.

Dani and Max heat up even more in this book and have some serious hot scenes! While their connection grows, we see Dani being brought deeper into the world of the Red Thorns. The only question now is if she’s strong enough to handle it?

I really do like the concept and storyline of the book but the 3.5 is for a few things. While I liked that Dani stood up for herself in this book, Hanna annoyed the hell out of me. Maybe she was supposed to but I just felt like she was a little to much. I’m also not a fan of insta love so I didn’t always like how quickly things progressed in Dani and Max’ relationship. And it bothered me how quickly Dani lost herself in the relationship, maybe not who she was as a person but in how she didn’t care about anyone or anything else.

I did enjoy seeing more of Max’ relationship with his crew and his brother, plus how Dani fit in with them. This book did have a lot of angst and twists that left me wanting to know what happened next. It also ended on a cliffhanger, probably the best one so far out of Rebel’s books, and I’ll definitely be reading book 3 to see what happens next.

In book 2 it picks up where book one left off. I re read book 1 just to ensure I was caught up on the story.

This is the story that keeps on giving. Max and Dani's relationship is intense. The fast love she feels for him is something that only happens to you once in a lifetime.

Dani goes through a lot of emotional turmoil in this book, Max goes through just as much but the loyalty in his club is put to the test especially after what happened at the end of book 1.

I couldnt put this book down it held me captive the entire time, putting me through so many emotions I didnt know what was up and what was down, just the way I like it. I love watching Dani and Max's relationship grow in each book, the biggest test of their love is still to come I can feel it in my bones especially after reading this book.

Well done Rebel another amazing story, that will break my heart in the end I know it will.

>Book Review – Red Rose
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 2nd in the Red Thorns Crew series and ends in a cliffhanger. This story has Max surviving way too many beat downs that would kill most people. He is able to drive and make decisions with multiple concussions. Anyone suffering from a concussion would know that linear thought is very difficult. Multiple instances of head trauma after a concussion would most likely result in coma.
> Ignoring the fact that Max shouldn’t be awake through most of this book, the plot is fast paced, with Benji turning from just a bully to really dangerous. This book missed the opportunity to explain the ins and outs of what exactly the MC crew does and how it differs from before Max took over.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 4 stars. I love how Dani grows a spine.

Inconsistent from previous book

I liked the first book, it wasn’t amazing but it was a nice way to spend an afternoon. & to be honest so was this. It was all okay. The problem I had was the inconsistencies from the first book to this.
Dani didn’t have her phone on her at the end of book 1 but she did at the beginning of book 2 even though she hadn’t gone back to her room to get it.
Hannah was encouraging dani to flirt & go out with max in book 1 by book 2 she hates him & wants dani away him.
These are the kinds of things beta & arc readers should be spotting!
Also want kind of parents try & set they’re 19/20 year old up with a 30 year old?

I enjoyed the general story & will probably read the 3rd book but it’ll probably be more of a read I do while watching tv or something in the hopes I don’t get annoyed by the little details.

Spoilers ahead

Ok. In my opiniom Dani is a complete idiot in this book but at the sametime I her understand position. To meet a guy who isnt what your parents want or what you grew up supposedly wanting is exciting. I like their relationship. They bring the good out of each other. As for bully romance: if anything benji is the bully not Max, and therevare are scenes where you see benji and dani together. I do not agree with Dani saying Hannah is a bully when in my opinion all she did was point out that Max in a way is a bad influence (which he is proven to be lol) and is concerned. But i agree with Dani that Hannah needs to make a choice either be her friend or leave her alone. Looking forward to the final book i just want to know how it ends

This is the follow up to Red Thorns. We pick back up with Danika and Max as they figure out how make their budding relationship work.

Max and Danika have a lot going on in their personal lives and they struggle with not wanting to bring the other into their messes. Max's MC is falling apart and he struggles with keeping Danika out of the trouble. Danika struggles with her school and her roommate. However through it all they have a great connection that they keep coming back to for support.

This is probably Rebel's best book to date. The detail to attention is superb along with keeping the story moving forward

So much romance with twist and turns

Dani's life hasn't been the same since she met max. He is the leader of the local motorcycle club and she is a innocent sophomore in college but they have unbelievable chemistry together. Max is trying to take care of his club brothers and the club. When things become dangerous he realizes someone is after him and his club. Dani may be in danger too for her being with Max. Max's father is a twisted, deadly individual who is behind alot of it with Max's cousin. He has already came after Dani before. Max just wants everyone safe and Dani wants Max.

Book 2 will cause Hart palpitations!

I don’t know how RH keeps writing this stuff? I’m only reading it and my stress level is at Mars. My heart is in my throat. I keep reading faster and faster to turn the page to find out what happens next. I thought Emmet and Ophelia caused me anxiety, but Max and Dani are next level! This time, the cliffhanger is going to be the death of me, for sure! It’s precisely that, which keeps the reader coming back time and time again to have our emotions strewn across the landscape like a tornado touching down. I need Red Queen, like, yesterday!!

Explodes from the pages!

Omg I need more of Dani and Max ! I don’t know the last time I was so in love with a book series!
Reading this book was like a roller coaster of emotions. I can’t even begin to describe how deeply emotionally I was effected! On top of that the storyline is suspenseful and leaves you questioning what is going on between the lines that you’re missing.
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the chemistry between Dani and Max ! The sex is of the charts and the build up is like a bomb ready to detonate! This is kindle melting reading!

Rebel Hart does it yet again, a true dark romance of a college girl falling for a biker guy. This certainly is Grease meets Sons Of Anarchy. Red Rose continues straight where Red Thorns finished.

My only slight negative vibe i had with this book was Dani completely rebelling against everything and falling out with her best friend Hannah. Although i did like Dani growing more confident, there were times where i wanted to give her a good shake.

The best part with this story was we got to understand abit more about Max and his true feelings

Roll on book 3

5 stars for Red Rose by Rebel Hart. This is book 2 in the Red Thorns Crew series. This book does end in a cliff hanger for be prepared. Wow I did not think anything could pass up the drama in book 1 but boy was I wrong. Dani and Max are a strong couple, but they are tested in this book We learn who is targeting the Red Thorns and Max personally. I am loving how strong Dani is becoming. These two characters are truly in love with each other. Even with everything going on. “And I’ve never wanted something the way I want you, gorgeous Ever.” I am loving this series and I am starting book 3 now.

Review for the whole series:

I think that all three books could have been condensed into one. That way, the story would have been more clear, concise, and less repetitive. There was a lot of potential in this story, but I never really believed in the connection between Dani and Max, nor did I buy into the roommate and parental conflict that was created. I think that paring everything down and spending more time on character development and character evolution would have served this series well. But I think fans of MC will probably enjoy the series.

Crushed

This book is amazing! The way the story unfolds sucks you in and does not let you out until you are broken and hanging on for the next ride. I cannot wait to see how this story ends. I know the next book is going to be just as amazing. The love between Max and Dani is something so strong that you do not really see it coming. Please read this series you will not regret it.

Oh my gosh, this book... I have no words. The right amount of action, spice and fluff. Floved this so much. Floved Max and Dani. Floved Rupert and John (is it possible for these two to be an item? For one, they have chemistry, and I wouldn't mind an MM romance). This is the kind of MC romance I'm looking for. This is Rebel's redemption after her unexciting bully college romance that is Weis-Jameson Prep Academy Series. Thank you for this book, Miss Hart, you've made me happy.

So mush suspense

I don’t normally leave reviews but this is one of my favorites. The way the author develops the relationship that develops is believable and real. I love the action in this book. Lots going on, this had me in the edge of my seat! I haven’t really found an MC book I really liked this much until Red Thorns.

Wow!!! The adventures and danger for Max and Dani continues in this second book. Their love grows and so does the danger that comes with that love. We can only hope the love they have for each other allows them to survive.
Can’t wait to read the conclusion of this trilogy!

Sons of anarchy type of relationship book that you will love.

I loved this book and can't wait to find out what happens next. The characters in this book reminds of a Jax and Tara type of relationship grounding of anarchy. A book I would re-read. Thank you Rebel Hart.

Hmm

While I enjoyed this book and others of this genre, I really wish authors would stop writing such stupid female lead characters. Dani rushing after Max, thinking she could save him from multiple men, is just stupid.
