"Delivers fiery passion with a country-western kick." —Publishers Weekly for A Very Cowboy Christmas

The firefighting cowboys of Wildcat Bluffs Canyon take Christmas VERY seriously...

When Ivy Bryant arrives in town to run the historic honkytonk, she finds herself immersed in traditions that can't be bucked. Luckily, cowboy firefighter Slade Steele has an idea to increase both the honkytonk's income, and his own. It's an offer Ivy couldn't refuse, even if the passion between them wasn't already reaching the boiling point.

Ivy and Slade's love story is legendary—when you add in arsonist cattle rustlers, a runaway Brahmin bull, and a chili recipe that includes liquor AND chocolate, Wildcat Bluffs Canyon will be celebrating a cowboy Christmas unlike any other.

Ivy Bryant comes to town to revive the old honkytonk and Slade Steele, local cowboy firefighter has a few ideas of his own. One of which is winning over Ivy! Cowboy Firefighter Christmas Kiss took me a bit to get into and I just never quite connected to their story. They were some great steamy scenes though.

Check this one out of cowboys and country Christmas scenes appeal to you. I give this book 3 stars.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this this book!

Do you believe in love at first sight? I bet after you read Cowboy Firefighter Christmas Kiss you will.

Slade Steele is a "jack-of-all-trades," so to speak. He's a cowboy, a firefighter and excellent cook and baker. He's also falls madly in love after walking into his town's honky-tonk, Wildcat Hall and meeting Ivy Bryant. Ivy just arrived in town to manage Wildcat Hall after her country singer sister, Fern very abruptly left down for a gig on a cruise ship. Fern and Ivy jointly own Wildcat Hall. Ivy is from Houston and is a city girl. Slade is determined to make a country girl out of her. There's no doubt there's lots of chemistry between these two. But it will take more than instant attraction to make Slade's case with Ivy. He has lots of help though. The whole town of Wildcat Bluff has welcomed Ivy and all that small-town support and love is hard to resist. You know, though, that there will be bumps along the road to a HEA for Ivy and Slade. Don't you want to follow along?

Cowboy Firefighter Christmas Kiss by Kim Redford is the fifth book in her Smokin' Hot Cowboys series. Ms. Redford once again gets the recipe for a fun read just right. (Fantastic recipes are included at the end of the story). Her characters are realistic and likeable. The storyline flows smoothly with fun scenes, lots of humor, good food and hot sex. There's also a sweet little girl who believes the stud bull stolen by rustlers, who also happens to be her friend, will be home for Christmas. She totally believes Fernando can make it. There's lots of action and exciting Christmas events too. I loved the interaction of the characters, the togetherness of the town and the Christmas spirit. I loved this book!

Cowboy Firefighter Christmas Kiss by Kim Redford is a modern romance featuring Ivy Bryant who is on leave from her city job running her sister's dance hall, Wildcat Hall, in Wildcat Bluff. Her sister, Fern, is a country singer who currently is off on tour. One day, a guy named Slade Steele, walks into the bar and, after, chatting her up, he starts talking marketing. Turns out he runs a local restaurant and thinks they could work together for both of them. She could add a little of his food to her menu (she has none) and make a mark for both of them. He also has a ranch and is currently planning for his annual cattle drive, thinking to make Wildcat Hall a stop on the drive, which is going to be live broadcast on the radio. Despite their instant attraction, they decide to be friends and work together despite setbacks, like cattle rustler threatening to put Slade out of business, and Fern's eminent return from touring.

This was a terrific romance with a fabulous setting and plot outside the romances. Lots of twists and turns keeping the reader engaged. Both were good characters, especially Ivy, who is totally out of her wheelhouse-the shy girl forcing herself to be outgoing. Everything works out in the end, which is the attractive part about romances...the happily-ever-after. I recommend this book as a feel-good story with Christmas overtones.

COWBOY FIREFIGHTER CHRISTMAS KISS pretty much had me at the first chapter. What’s not to love about one feisty but shy city girl taking over a honky-tonk, one hot and ready to help cowboy/firefighter/jack-of-all-trades, and one adorable (yes, bulls can be adorable) stud bull by the name of Fernando along with the sweet little girl who loves this big bull and worries about him being away from home? I had fun with this romance that has a touch of Christmas magic but mostly a very realistic, very hot couple facing some extraordinary situations.

While Ivy and Slade burn hot almost from their first meeting there are bumps along the road to their happy ending that they’ll have to get through. With the help of the quirky, nosey, and passionate residents of Wildcat Bluffs they’ll face them all, and find a future worth fight for. I’ve enjoyed this entire series, and there’s another release coming in the Spring of 2020 to look forward to as well. If you love a good cowboy romance, small-town living, believable people and situations, and know that a happy ever after is coming… eventually, then you’ll want to pick up COWBOY FIREFIGHTER CHRISTMAS KISS for your holiday treat to yourself.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

This was a wonderful book to read. This is a part of a series involving Wildcat Bluff Firefighters. While this is a part of a series, you really don't need to read the prior stories to enjoy this.

Ivy Bryant comes to take over the running of Wildcat Hall that she and her sister purchased together. The Hall is a historic honkytonk of the county. Ivy was to be the silent partner that enjoys her life in Houston. Fern on the other hand is the brilliant creator/singer/rolling stone of the sisters. Fern takes a job on a cruise line and forces Ivy to come and run the honkytonk. Once there, she encounters hunky rancher/volunteer firefighter/former rodeo bull-rider/chef, Slade Steele. The sparks fly fast and furious, at least for Slade. Ivy, on the other hand, is more reserved and cautious. Seeing these two wonderful characters interact was a delight.

I enjoyed the plot. There was A LOT here to keep me interested in turning the pages and wondering what was going to happen next! I loved the dual POV format! Reading both of the main characters' thoughts, really help me to fully understand where they are coming from. Plus understanding their actions and speech in a scene is a BIG plus.

This is a sexy read. The author did a great job of writing the "bedroom" scenes without being erotica. I would highly recommend this to anyone over the age of 18.

Kim Redford’s fifth book of Cowboy Firefighter Christmas of the Smokin’ Hot Cowboys series, is a sizzling romance between Ivy Bryant and Slade Steele. Ivy goes from website designer by day to manager by night of her sister’s dance hall, Wildcat Hall, in Wildcat Bluff county. One minute she’s city, and in the next, she’s gone country. Slade is a cowboy through-and-through, and he’s also a rancher, a firefighter, a proprietor of the Chuckwagon Café, and a helluva of a cook/baker. The heat between them is hotter than Slade’s own fiery chili. Who said the Old West is dead? Throw in Fernando, the ornery bull with a mind of his own, some cattle rustlers, and a wild trail drive, and you’re set with some excitements, lots of humor, good food and scorching sex.

Slade’s in love the moment he steps inside the Wildcat Hall to meet Ivy. Ivy tries to stay city but her smokin’ hot cowboy makes it hard to resist. Add the interaction characters of Slade’s family and the town, it’s slam dunk for sure. Kim Redford adds a special ingredient of Christmas magic to make Cowboy Firefighter Christmas Kiss sweet as one of Slade’s pies and spicy hot as chili. If y’all love the Smokin’ Hot Cowboy series, then tune in for the upcoming release of Kim Redford’s sixth book Cowboy Firefighter Heat in March 2020. Yee-haw!

If you're looking for a fun holiday read, give Cowboy Firefighter Christmas Kiss by Kim Redford a try. I enjoyed this book about Ivy Bryant, city girl, who goes to manage Wildcat Hall Park in Texas when her sister takes a singing job on a cruise ship. When she meets Slade Steele, rancher/firefighter/proprietor of Chuckwagon Cafe, her attitude toward country living changes. Ivy and Slade have an instant connection. With Christmas approaching, Wildcat Bluff County is busy looking for cattle rustlers, holding a trail drive, and hoping that Fernando the bull will make it home for Christmas. This book has likable characters, some great scenes, and a HEA. I am curious to know how things work out with Ivy's sister, Fern! I look forward to reading other books by this author.

A sexy cowboy & a hot dance hall girl? Great combination, right? This author is giving a modern take on this relationship. Ivy has come to run the dance hall after her sister skipped out again. Fern always starts something & then gets bored & leaves Ivy to deal with it. Slade Steel has some ideas for crossing his family business with hers & making more money for each of them. The witty banter & flirting began from the moment they first met & continued throughout. It made the story both hot & fun to read. Add in some cattle rustling & a bull determined to get back home & this story has everything!

This was DNF for me. The writing didn't flow as well as I would have liked, and it seemed like it jumped around to me. While I want the MC to get together before 90% of the way through the book, these 2 are having thoughts about being with each other forever and depending on each other in their 2nd conversation! That's a little too far fetched for me. Also, with the fire in chapter 5, her thoughts are "since he was the experienced firefighter", he doesn't mentioned being a firefighter until a few pages later. Although this one wasn't for me, I would give this author another read.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

Cowboy Firefighter Christmas Kiss is part of the Smokin' Hot Cowboy's series. It stood alone well, and based on this book, I will seek out the others by Kin Redford. hough there is a bit of an insta-love situation, I enjoyed the back and forth between the hero and heroine enough to stick with them to their happily ever after. I appreciated that Ms Redford offers fully dimensional characters, passion, and delightful dialogue. I always like characters to show some personal growth and change through the story and Cowboy Firefighter Christmas Kiss delivers.

Insta-love, much inner rambling dialogue, over the top country talk and phrases, and a corny ending, are the highlights of this book. I had to skim in places to get through this story. When going to leave this review, I noticed that the first book in the series was a DNF for me after a chapter or two, so I suspect that KR is not the author for me. *I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and this my voluntary and honest review.

This book was given with no compensation for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this author and this book. The characters moved fast in their romance but it was a great country Christmas miracle surprise. Fernando was their Christmas miracle and it made the story so cute even though it involved rustlers and a touch of burnt cookies!

This was a nice, steamy, light read. City girl meats country boy and it's insta lust/love... at least on his part. She's a little more hesitant, but comes around fairly quickly. Toss into the pot some cattle rustlers, Fernando the wayward bull and a precocious little girl and you've got a nice, enjoyable mix.
Very good.

I like a nice holiday romance at this time of year. This book is so poorly written, completely unbelievable-even more so than your run of the mill romance. The male lead falls completely in love with the female lead and acts like a complete stalker. I kept hoping it would get better but it didn’t. It was a struggle to finish.

I think I had to read enough bad Christmas Cowboy books in order for this one to seem pretty decent. Hilariously enough, the author of my notorious Cowboy Christmas book club pick from last year (that was a DNF for everyone involved) makes a cameo appearance in this one and even has a chili recipe in it lol.

An intense and rushed relationship with a toxic man who love bombs the female lead and yet when opinions differ will treat her like trash. The female lead is also kinda stupid. The plot is too fictional to enjoy.
