Enter the mind of the merc with a mouth in a tome of Deadpool’s best (and worst)!

In this lavishly presented guide to everyone’s favourite merc, discover what makes the katana-wielding, gun-toting, insult-firing anti-hero tick (or tock?).

Includes the greatest comic book covers and scenes we love to remember (or wish we could forget), accompanied by the manic musings of our morally confused crimson-clad comrade.

Really convoluted journey into the mind of one of the most iconic comic characters in the last 25 years - a great 'Deadpoolian' perspective on life/death and everything in between! If you have a DP fan in your life then this would be the perfect 'gift book' to give them - sure to get you a smile!

I give this 3 stars because ...it's Deadpool so...it's better than bad by default, BUT...I didn't love it. The art and ideas are there...the "philosophy" could have been better. The first line of the last page is pretty on point to the whole theme though... "If you've learned just one thing from this book then I've failed". This book didn't have to make sense...nothing about Deadpool does....but it could have been a whole lot funnier, cause he is.

Really this book could have scored lower if I didn’t at least see some cool comic images that I had never seen before (haven’t really read much Deadpool comics). Otherwise meh. Expected more.

More of a history of what is an obnoxious children's character. Deadpool is a slightly more gorier version of a Looney Tunes character.

Great for a gift at best...

Reading challenge category - 2024 Flourish and Blotts - Muggle Studies - World Cup: Inclues a sport (Kendo, boxing, etc.)

Rather than "the philosophy of deadpool," this is more like "funny clips of deadpool." there are 8 'chapters;' each of which includes a countdown of 10 scenes from the comics that pertain to the chapter's title. With Deadpool & Wolverine having just premiered, this felt like a timely read.
