I started to read on of these a day in January. This is the first of four volumes of Polgar's writings from 1908 to 1954. This is all incidental stuff - journalism mostly, and one assumes he wrote every day. This volume concerns itself with his pacifist and anti-fascist writings. The other three with the justice system, political texts and sketches and finally theatre criticism.

Reading one of these little pieces daily is a joy, a glimpse into another world. Highly recommended and great for improving on'e German.
