Surprise!

WoW. Book 2 of this trilogy surprised me in several ways. First, it wasn't nearly as dark as the first book, which was a bit more violent than I prefer, and I had concerns this book would build on that violence. Second, were the circumstances surrounding the escape. And, third, was the identity of The Requestor.

I do enjoy this author's writing style. It is so descriptive, which brings the story to life. The continuing development of the primary characters is also very well done. The only problem I found, similarly to the first book, was Ryker's p.o.v. when it involved repeating the same incident that Mia had previously described. But, this only occurred on one occasion in this book and there was much more that Ryker had to offer, that Mia was unaware of, so his input in this book was much more necessary to the story. And, oh my goodness, holy cliffhanger!

The result of all this has really piqued my interest in the continuation and ending of this storyline and has significantly raised my desire to begin the third and final volume of this trilogy. That's where I'm off to now.

I really liked this second book of the series. It kept my interesting throughout the entire story. The intensity is palatable. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to continue reading this series after the first book with its shocking ending, but I was immediately engrossed into the story due to the amazing writing. I felt the characters come alive once again. I found myself trying to wrap my mind around the fact that these women who are tortured and treated so poorly, they become complacent and seek any kindness and escape from the horrors they face and become enamored with their captors. Yet these captors seek to sell them to someone else...most likely to someone worse. It is horrifying. The author does a tremendous job of making the reader feel they are right in the story with these women. The fact that the ending was shocking wasn't a surprise but how shocking it was - that was definitely a surprise. The emotions in this book will seep into your soul. I dare you to not find yourself cringing with her as each day progresses. The horror is just beginning though....that much I'm sure. I cannot wait for the next book. Recommend

Book two in this devilishly dark and twisted series!!! Loved it!!!!!

Please be sure to read book one, Don't Say A Word, first or you will be lost.

This book finds us with Mia back home. She's a mess and can't stop thinking about Ryker. Is he dead? Does he hate her? She's having a rough time adjusting, she keeps wondering if her requestor is watching and waiting to steal her away again. Since she never saw him, she can't help but think he could be anyone around her. Her nightmares are out of control and she doesn't know who to trust. Too bad for her, danger is much closer than she could ever imagine. This book ends on a cliffhanger because it is book two in the trilogy. I am so looking forward to more of Mia's story and I can't wait for book three. Definitely recommend this as a must read!!!!!

You must read the first book before reading this

The first book was so full of despair, I hesitated before I started the second. I did take a peek at the end of the book before I chose to settled down with this book. I also had the advantage of having the arc for the third book so I could immediately follow up to see how the story concludes. I finished the second book and then raced directly to the third... and it is a fitting ending.

I will read more by this author, but I will want all of the books in the series before starting

Spoilers
Mia’s frightening compelling story continued. Ryker is being emotionally blackmailed in his role and sees no way out. Mia does escape but the freedom is claustrophobic and then lost

Ryker knows he can’t have Mia but it doesn’t stop him from wanting her. Nor does it stop Ryan from wanting to be free of the Attertons and wanting his sister to be safe and happy. Mia Cooper escapes and is safe at home with her parents for now. Mia can’t help but think of her requestor out there, watching and waiting for the perfect time to take her again. Junior has begun to take pleasure from his sinister role as Mia's stalker. Junior has a plan, but he must be patient in allowing Mia to think that she's safe until he takes her ... Note: this story ends on a cliffhanger.

Until You're Mine is a dark, gripping and suspenseful story that's a page turner. I can't wait to read My Sweet Songbird, Book 3 of the Requested Trilogy

The second part in this trilogy has twists that made my head spin!
Mia’s found a way to escape, but at what cost? What she had to do,eats at her. Did she kill Ryker? She can’t stop thinking about him.....Not only that, she doesn’t feel safe. Everyone she sees, could be her Requestor. Everywhere she goes, she’s worried he’s there. Roxy, her best friend, convinces her to go out. Take the control of her life back. Can she?

Or is her Requestor still out there, patiently waiting to take back what he sees as his?
Take her, break her, make her his songbird to play with as he likes?

I hope part three,My Sweet Songbird, comes to booksprout soon.....i need to know!

This was the second book in the trilogy and I felt like it totally delivered a great punch. It both answered some questions from the first book but yet left us hanging for more to see how it ends. And I will just tell you that some of the surprises at the end of this book totally didn't see coming. The requester and this book is a totally twisted character and he really shows that in this book. Just when I thought things were starting to come together she threw a twist that leaves me wondering what's going to happen to all three of them Mia, Riker and the requester.

Dark and Captivating!!!
by Brandy Jones

Mia's frightening story continues in Until You're Mine and keeps getting better and better. Mia is a brave, strong-willed woman who isn't about to give up easily. I think Ryker starts to realize Mia isn't the only prisoner as he fights his own emotions that hold him captive. They both have walls that begin to come down when they are together. Survial and freedom is what's most important to Mia but freedom isn't easy. I highly suggest this book series to anyone who love dark romances with lots of emotions.

Sabre Rose has done it again! I did not think it possible to keep me as enthralled as I was in the previous book, but I was even more so. I was chomping at the bit to get to this book and oh, my stars, it was just phenomenal. There were so many twists, so much emotion, and the heartbreak was felt so very deep. I just love the way this story is told. I can't give it enough praise. And the bombshell at the end had me dropping my jaw. I did not, in any way, see it coming. I am now chomping at the bit to get to book 3!!!! 10 star reads here, people!!!!

I love dark and twisted romances as I just think they tend to be a bit more realistic. This dark, twisted, gritty read had me on the edge of my seat from the first page until the last. In this book The female lead goes on a serious journey. She escapes her captor but she now worried about getting taken again. The writing is amazing, the twists made this a nail biter, the characters captivated me and the story left me speechless. I can’t wait to read the third part of this fantastic trilogy to find out what happens next.

Well this book was as intense as the first. When the requestor comes to visit after he finds out what happened to Mia, she realizes that the cell is just the beginning. Ryker has no power and she needs to fight for herself regardless of what they have done. But will her actions free her forever or put her right back into the hands that she is escaping from.

The author has done a brilliant job of pulling the reader along for Mia's story. Still giving us glimpses of not only Mia's life, but what Ryker fears, and the requestor and the attitude of his parents. A great follow up, I can't wait for the next book.

Be warned this is indeed a dark novella, and may contain triggers for some people.

The second book in the Requested trilogy, and equally as good . Many of the questions I had from the end of the first book were answered in this book, But again I was left with Many more questions after this book. There were many things that had me sitting there with my mouth hanging open wondering how things happened. So many twists and turns. So many surprises. And OMG!! The cliffhanger again. Now I have to wait to get more of my questions answered.

Woo this is a bit of a roller coaster ride and it is a twisted web that the author weaves. I did get very irritated with Roxy (wanted to bitch slap her if I'm honest), she had no consideration of how or what Mia had been through. I did have my suspicions as to the identity of the Requester but I will say no more as I do not want to include spoilers.
I am seriously champing at the bit to see where this story will go.

Whoa!

Well certainly steamy some sort of nearly hero and one seriously messed up family its all going on in this racy but uncomfortable trilogy. I really loved how it all comes together and how someone can imagine the anguish of a character so deeply. There's definitely some stockholm syndrome thrown in too. It's a dark read with an air of mystery panic and detailed description. Can't wait to see where the last book takes me.

Frustrating

I kinda enjoyed the first book, I did not enjoy this one.
The repetition from book one continues, but this time it's excessive. I'm all for multi character perspective, but I'm not into reading the same scene, with the same dialogue immediately after I've just read it. It kinda feels like padding... An attempt to bulk out a very short novella.
I won't read any more in this series and will be hard pressed to read this author again.

The darkness continues...
Part 2 continues in the same dark vein! Once you start reading this be prepared to become irritated if you have to stop till you get to the end! A page turner but, be warned it is dark and makes no apologies about it!

This is book 2 in this dark trilogy and, just like the first, it kept me glued to my kindle. The uncertain, suspenseful, passionate, twisted journey wasn't one I was expecting and that made me love it even more. If anything, this one had me more captivated than the first and has left me even more desperate to get my hands on book 3.

She used to have a bit of safety in her cell but no longer. She is broken and bruised, he now no longer comes to her cell but she cannot question why it hurts that he does not. She needs to escape but will she? Will she leave part of her behind if she manages to escape.

Mia has stabbed Ryker and escaped from her captivity and her Requester . Things are not what they seem to be and while Mia is happy to be home with her parents , she misses Ryker terribly and lives somewhat on edge very concerned she will be taken again .

Shocking ending when we see how the requestor plays into her current life .
I felt on edge reading this book , you will too

Deliciously Dark and suspenseful.

I had a pretty good idea of how it would end, but honestly it didn't even matter. That's how thoroughly enrapturing this author's words are. I was entirely enthralled by Mia and Ryker. The whole dynamic is intriguing and the torture between the two of them is heartwrenching. I can't wait to read the final book!

This is the second book in this saga and it is good--although I do admit that I found the first book to be better, but this one is still worth five stars. Again, this book is very dark and not for the faint-hearted, but a very good read.

Slow anticipation

Enjoying this series but I must say that the build up has been very slow in coming. Hopefully part 3 will not only answer all the questions but find justice for "his songbird".

Spine tingling

I am loving this trilogy... it's one of those where you cant bear to read it because you know what is most likely going to happen. The middle twist had me saying "oh no watch out"... I cant wait to read the conclusion.
