Okay, I'm going to be brief (for once). If you're looking for a more in-depth review, I recommend the one by Phuong ✯. She did amazing work her review.

Fair warning, this might be slightly spoilerish.

So, I do like Remo and Serafina. However, I've had enough. We do not need another point of view on their book; we already got like four. (And we are probably getting another one because I can just expect Samuel to spend half of the book on how Serafina betrayed him and half of the book being a flas

Buddy reading with my dear Mina ✨ thanks for ranting about this book with me.

How many times does Cora Reilly want to write about the same events in Twisted Pride? Remo kidnapping Serafina is making such an impact on everyone that CR is shoving that fact down our throats from 1030 different angles. I get it, Remofina living in everyone's mind rent free, but maaaybee try to write something different for once? All of CR books are reading the same.

It's taken me three days to talk myself into writing this review. It's just that there's so much to say, and I had so many issues with it and so many complaints but I'm too lazy to gather them all coherently in here. I'm trying tho, so bear with me.

First of all - we did NOT need this book! If you're familiar with Cora's work and have read most of her books then you know that there are so many characters and other books that she has talked about releasing, therefore, I did not see the

The first half was good, but the second half was spectacular! Oh my goodness, I really didn’t expect to like this book as much as I did. It was so charming and had drama without involving too much mafia stuff. I adored Emma and I’m so excited for her book! I even really liked Bria! So many possibilities for new books!

Sofia (18) is so sweet and kind hearted. She has had an unrequited crush on Danilo for years and her dreams come true when she is engaged to Danilo to replace her
After Savio’s book I swore off from this series.
But then I got this book and I was like let’s just give it a try you know?

Why should the woman always pine after the man? Why can't it be the other way around for once?
What vibe I have gotten from the past two books is that it's okay for the man to cheat and the woman to still be hopelessly in love with him. And then The man will towards the end realize that "Hey I actually am in love with her but I don't have to do much, Just show my sexy face and

Which is a shame. Danilo and Sofia had great chemistry and there was so much potential for awesomeness here.

Fragile Longing explores the story of Danilo and Sofia, two individuals who are bound by unexpected circumstances to one another. This standalone truly lived up to the hype in the best possible way, having desperately awaited for this since Twisted Pride was released, I can guarantee that the wait is well worth it. It is emotionally gripping and very raw in comparison to some of the books.

Fragile Longing is a beautiful and touching age gap, arranged marriage standalone Mafia romance by Cora Reilly. It's the highly anticipated story of Sofia Mione and Danilo Mancini, which we've all been dying to get our hands on since Twisted Pride. I was totally intrigued to see how Cora is going to make their predicament work - him being the young Underboss of Indianapolis and formerly engaged to Sofia's older sister who left the Outfit for the Camorra and her bein

I couldn't wait to read Fragile Longing since the moment I met Sofia Mione and Danilo Mancini for the first time in Twisted Pride. I was intrigued by these two unlike characters and the circumstances that brought them together. After all, arranged marriage and age gap stories are exactly the kind of books I love to read. Especially if they're written by one of my top favorite authors and unquestioned queen of Mafia romance, Cora Reilly. There's something angsty and ex

Fragile Longing is a standalone novel but I highly recommend reading Twisted Pride before this.

I’m going to try my level best not to make this about Twisted Pride which is an impossible task because I like that book so much and force all my pals to read it(ask them)😜. Let's get into it. In typical Cora fashion, I have a love-loathe relationship with the characters. Sofia was bold, feisty, and fun. She has this bright, lovable aura surrounding

This book was heartachingly beautiful, hopeful and so full of love and tenderness. I felt so emotional by the end. This is a love story at its best and will pull at your heartstrings for sure.

After a long (agonizing) wait, Cora Reilly finally bestowed us with Sofia and Danilo’s story. Danilo Mancini’s pride & reputation were in shambles when his bride-to-be, Serafina, was abducted by a rival mob family and upon her return she decided to end their arrangement. Humiliated, Danilo strikes a deal to marry his ex-fiancée much younger sister, Sofia Mione. Sofia has been infatuated with Danilo, ever since she first met him, and is

I was really looking forward to read Fragile Longing; since i read Twisted Pride i was curious about Danilo & Sofia' story.
Now i have mixed emotions about it....

In the first part, almost more than half, of the book Remo&Fina' presence was cumbersome.
Danilo's pride and Sofia's insicurities gave them to much space. And i hated it 'cause a real bond between the two of them was impossible.
The second part, otherwise, was absolutely amazing 😍😍

Danilo Mancini first caught my attention in Twisted Pride. I found it fascinating how his gentleman behaviour and charm were alluring to so many women. Yet clearly, behind the public appearance, he had a dark side that was lurking to come out. Once his fiancée runs away with the enemy, Danilo’s ego suffers an extreme blow, which results in him losing more often self-control.

Although sometimes Danilo acts as a brute, I didn’t see much difference from his inconsiderate ways compared to

Fragile Longing is a long-awaited new standalone from Cora Reilly and it's finally here and it came like a wrecking ball.

Everything starts after Danilo losing his ex-fiancé, Serafina, and to not be seen as weak, he demands compensation for the situation which results in his engagement with Serafina’s sister, Sofia.

Sofia has this pre-teen crush for Danilo (many of us had crushes, right?) and to her, this is a dream come true. And a dream is it. Sofia sees Danilo as someone in control and strong,

Sadly, sometimes your expectations get the best of you. I've been eagerly anticipating this book since I finished Twisted Pride. Sadly, I can't remember the last time I was this disappointed with a book.

I don't even know where to begin on all the things that didn't work for me. I think the only saving grace of the story were the few glimpses we get of Remo and Fina. Danilo and Sofia were entirely forgettable. They were the plain dry toast of mafia ro

Ever since Twisted Pride, where we learned that Sofia would take Serafina's place as Danilo's fiancé, I knew this book would be so angsty and full of feels, and so ever since it's been my most anticipated book. only redeeming qualities would be danilo's relationship with his sister emma, and the mentions of nevio and greta.

I was excited for Fragile Longing because it's an age-gap/crush-to-lovers/arranged marriage/ mafia romanceabout Serafina's younger sister, Sofia Mione, and her ex-fiance, Danilo Mancini. Sofia had a longtime crush on Danilo and now she takes Serafina's place as Danilo's fiancee.

My top three thoughts after finishing this book:
1. Are Remo and Serafina being paid well? I feel like they deserve a raise after being the stars in a book that wasn't even theirs.
2. I would like to publicly apologize to Savio and Gemma. Twisted Hearts was a trainwreck but they're no longer the worst book by this author because Fragile Longing won first place by far.
3. I'm pretty sure someone screwed up Cora Reilly's prenatal vitamins pills and that's how we ended with this. I know there's someth

wow. this book was fucking gross.
The way cora writes about underage girls is so messed up. I don't know why we had to see interactions between danilo and sofia before she turned eighteen. All we got from that was sofia being a stupid little girl because of an infatuation and danilo being a disgusting pig pining over a girl who he never really knew. And that cora likes to sexualise minors.
Why was danilo sexually attracted to sofia whilst she was underage?
