This Paranormal Romance box set is a complete collection of four books in the international bestselling series, Gods and Monsters. 1. Apollo Is Mine 2. Poseidon Is Mine 3. Ares Is Mine 4. Hades Is Mine
Every complete novel offers a scorching hot, addictive paranormal romance. These full length novels are mythology based fantasy romances that feature a monster slaying heroine and her hot Greek Gods. Be prepared for heart-thumping fights, steamy love, magic, prophecies, mythical creatures, fantasy, paranormal and mythology legends, and a hell of a lot of Hades!
Mila Young tackles everything with the zeal and bravado of the fairytale heroes she grew up reading about. She slays monsters, real and imaginary, like there's no tomorrow. By day she rocks a keyboard as a marketing extraordinaire. At night she battles with her mighty pen-sword, creating fairytale retellings, and sexy ever after tales.
Elyse is the last in her line, she has been tasked by the Gods to protect the humans. In each book she meets a different God and the sparks fly. Each book is so good and this way you don't have to wait for the next installment
Apollo is Mine Incredible start to a new series by this author and let me say I am so happy that it deals with mythology!! I love how the Gods are being incorporated into the plot. So far the world building, characters and story line flow really easy even though there is plenty of chaos and confusion within. I like the fact that Elyse is not only a fierce main character but she breaks down every once in a while and whines about things. Not everyone can go through the things she is going through and not let it affect them. With Ares and Poseidon showing up towards the end I can not wait to see what happens in the next book. Poseidon Is Mine This is the second book in the Gods and Monsters series and we get to watch so much character growth in this book. I think the thing that irked me most about this book is, they really do not "act" as a reverse harem. We get to see each guys point of view and of course Elyse's point of view but never do the relationships merge together into one. I really hope that all the gods get their heads out their rear ends and work cohesively as a team. Ares Is Mine This series just keeps getting better and better with each book and the action around the enemy keeps the drama, suspense, passion and romance between the gods and Elyse. I love the conflict in emotions that Hades has for Elyse and everything that revolves around him. Hades Is Mine Omg this is the epic ending to the Gods and Monsters series and so many things that I did not expect to happen! I was so happy to see that Hades finally came around after all the heartache and pain that both him and Elyse had been through
An absolutely incredible boxset that lets you have all the awesomeness in one place so there is no waiting for the next installment. Follow Elyse as she runs into the Gods as she is fighting X. Each new book showcases the romance between her and a different God as they all try to work together to save the human race. A wonderfully fast paced supernatural RH series that will keep you totally hooked as the story progresses. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
Mila Young has written another wonderful series with the Monsters and Gods series. I love the individual relationships that the Gods - Hades, Apollo, Poseidon and Ares, continue to maintain with Elyse, even though their all interconnected. I think this keeps a different twist on the story, that I haven’t come across often with reverse harems series.
Elyse’s story is one of strength, adventure, surprising twists and Gods who she’ll open her heart to.
I absolutely loved the Monsters and Gods series, and I highly recommend the entire collection.
Apollo Elyse has the blood of Zeus and as a Lowe she’s got a job to protect the humans and with this comes the fact that she has a few additional lives. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg along comes this hot guy on bike yummy instant attraction. For some reason or another Elyse is drawn to the man who is Apollo. But to add an awesome twist to the plot along comes Hades as he needs a break from the underworld after everything with Peresophone has fallen apart. He sees Elyse and she confronts him the next thing you know they are fighting and other activities. But Hades walks away. Hades also commits the biggest betrayal when he kills Elyse to save her from X want to know more well I’m not telling. But the main part of this story isn’t really the Gods getting Elyse it’s her fighting X (Death). And what a fight that’s going to be. Apollo has to hide the fact that he’s fallen for a human otherwise Zeus will banish him back to Mount Olympus. All told an enjoyable listen/read that I would recommend to anyone. Poseidon Well things are getting interesting now Elyse has recovered from when Hades killed her and she back stronger. But X is also stronger after consuming more souls. Hades is still acting a dick running hot and cold around Elyse it’s all fight then well I’m sure your clever enough to say what happens next then he walks away. Poseidon takes Elyse on a chariot ride that helps calm her and yes he’s making progress on the heart front falling deeper and deeper for her. Ares has also come to help with the fight against X and as the God of War he’s looking for a fight but the other gods underestimate him and see him as a little childish. He tries to step in a fight Elyse’s fight which only annoys her. I will say that whilst I love the guys and their characters are well developed I get a little annoyed with Elyse when she’s down she’s down and even a little whiny but when that spit fire raises her head man is she awesome. I’m now well and truly invested in this series.
Ares Well we’ve seen Elyse suffer some bad luck and fall down on her luck X is getting strong the guys are fighting by her side diligently but they aren’t make any difference they know that working together may be the way to go but it doesn’t help when technically Herecles isn’t supposed to help and Hades is running hot and cold all over the place. Elyse is also stronger as she’s had to use more of her lives. Apollo is missing from this book because Zeus has found out about him and Elyse and banished him back to Mount Olympus. The end is getting near the action is heating up and Elyse is showing that although she’s now with 3 gods they each have there own time. I’m so looking for to Hades book which is going to round out this amazing series.
Narrators this is one of the best narrated books I have listened to that has multiple POVs as each character gets their own narrator. And well Hades voice is hot. But that being said each narrator nails their character
This book brings together all of the Gods and Monsters novels. It allows easy access to completely read through the entire series in one go through. The Gods and Monsters novels take on a different view of what Greek mythology might be like in today's day and age.
Elyse is our main heroine and she's a spunky, bright, and fiery character that is taken on the mantle of her family to help protect the humans from the creature sent by the Gods. She is trained by Hercules and through the course of the novels is introduced to Apollo, Hades, Poseidon, and Ares. With each of her males she is drawn in by their unique personalities and their intensities. She must face not only the hardest fight in her lives, but also the hardships she will face with each of her males. She is the only thing that stands between life and the total destruction of everything that the world knows.
This series has many ups and downs as Elyse is a character that faces many hardships and well I felt some of the relationships were forced near the beginning by the end of the series they all made sense. If you are at all interested in anything with Greek mythology or you really like interesting RH novels then definitely pick up this book.
Apollo is Mine Why did I wait too read this book. I was hooked from page 1. I absolutely love the characters and their story and I can’t wait for more. Who wouldn’t want too fall for a god or 2 or more lol. I can’t wait to read Poseidon is mine.
Poseidon is Mine
I absolutely love this series. Elyse and the guys are absolutely phenomenal. I love the battles and of course the sex is HOT. Once you start reading you won’t want too stop. This series will give you all the feels. Can’t wait too read Ares is mine next.
Ares is Mine
Omg this series is not only addicted but it just keeps getting better and better. Elyse and her gods will try anything too defeat X. Elyse and Hades could be amazing but his past is crushing any hope they could have. I can’t wait to read what happens next especially how this book ended.
Hades is Mine
Omg I absolutely love this series and the characters are phenomenal. I had an inkling of what was going too happen but it’s still excited too read how it all unfolded. I really enjoyed this series and sad too see it end. Can’t wait too read more of Mila’s books.
Staring off the first I was very intrigued and caught up into the story. I was interested in seeing how each god played a role in Elyssa’s life. But by the middle of book 2 I was a little lost. I found that the story extended longer but that there was not a lot of plot content to build to each book. They were titled ——- is Mine, but I didn’t find each book focused on one god. I finished the series but I was hoping for a more dramatic ending with all the build up. Not a bad story over all, but I thought it could have been alittle more.
What could be better than to get the whole series all in one place. Elyse really struggles with the desire that she feels for so many gods, especially when she is supposed to defeat them. There is definitely a struggle and family drama between all of these but it is great seeing how everything wraps up in the end. I enjoyed listening to this series with both the writing and so many great narrators.
I found the books to be a little too repetitive. It seems like the author needs to get the word count higher.. I wish the story had more action, it just seemed kind of boring.. I was half way when I wanted to stop reading it but decided to finish it since I was already half way. This was the first book I've read from this author. I have another book from her so hopefully that one is better.
This was a great collection of books about a human endowed with a godly power to fight evil. Along the way, she falls in love with not one, not two, not even three, but four gods who join her in her fight to save humanity. This series belongs on your must read list.
Beautiful emotional romantic love story with incredible characters each different but together with the goddess they love, such a adventure thank you loved this series 💖💖💖💖
This was a good book. I liked how she add in all the gods, to help Elise the main character to defeat X. How took something she want back. She's a bit of a tart jumping from one God to another. But that is how the gods are and they do not see sex in the same way humans do. Their powers seem to mix together when they are sexually connected. They did not seem to mind, beside besides Hades who seem to have more feelings for Elise then he wants to show her. But she seem to mirror his feelings in some ways. It was a good read.
This great value boxset contains all the books in the series. Please note this contains lots of sexual content which can sometimes involve multiple partners at the same time.
Apollo Is Mine 4*
Elise Lowe is the last of her line. She is a warrior, who is sworn to act for Zeus to protect mankind, and has promised her father on his deathbed to continue the legacy and fight the monsters who try and prey on mankind. However, after just one kiss with the God Apollo, he has her heart and she would give it all us just for more of them. Heracles is training her to make sure she is up to the job and she knows she must use her superhuman powers to take down all the legendary creatures currently looking for prey on the streets of Chicago. However, after meeting the god Hades and seeing the darkness that seems to be there with him, she knows she must destroy it before the earth dissolves into chaos and she loses the god who loves her too.
A lovely story that was enjoyable and well written. Elise was certainly a tortured soul at times but she also became a little irritating to me with the way she flip-flopped from being a user or a doormat. I know they were gods but at the end of the way if she was as independent as she appeared she should have been more confident in her own worth.
Poseidon Is Mine 5*
Elise is torn between the bright love she is experiencing from Apollo as well as her lustful dreams of Hadesthen another god (Poseidon) appears trying to calm the chaos he believes is caused by his brother Hades. Apollo’s bright love is consuming, and the dark god Hades fills my dreams with lust and desire. Even though she's torn between them, the sea god, Poseidon, surfaces to calm the chaos, except I’m falling for him too. As Elise continues to train with Heracles while struggling to handle the abilities and power she has, sulky god Ares is there to encourage her to jump in and fight. She wonders if she is drowning in Poseidon's affection as she struggles to maintain a careful balance between her role fighting to protect from mythical powers and her humanity.
I loved this story and the descriptions of all the adventures she went on with Poseidon as part of trying to relax and enjoy life. I enjoyed their friendship and that t=he was trying really hard to support her and give her a safety valve in order to try and handle all the pressures she was under. Well written and very enjoyable,
Ares Is Mine 4*
Elise has 4 gods in her life and Ares is starting to play a much bigger role as he becomes a true friend to her. It's not easy juggling everything as she has to try and be human, save innocents from the darkness that seems to be getting stronger, training with Hercules and the 4 gods who all insist she is theirs.
This was a nice story as Elise had a very supportive god who only pushed for involvement in her life and anything sexual after they had become firm friends who were able to fully trust each other. It was great to see how her relationships with the other gods were developing even though she still seemed to be a user as well as a doormat.
Hades Is Mine 5*
Elise lost the latest battle even with the help of Apollo, Poseidon, and Ares so she has no more chances left. Ares trained her to be a stronger warrior, Poseidon taught her to be a wise leader, and Apollo showed her that passion could be a glorious champion. She needs to convince Hades to help her defeat the darkness but he just keeps hiding and wallowing in terror of what might happen if he loves someone. However, if he decides to change his mind can be really be trusted? Can the darkness finally be defeated or will all be lost?
This was a dramatic ending to the series as Elise finally worked out a major secret as well as get all 4 of the gods who had her heart. Very enjoyable and loved what happened to her even though it was more than a little like pulling teeth to finally work out the mystery as to how she could defeat the darkness. It was great to see a strong woman taking control and cleaning up the evil.
I have this three stars because all the sex scenes overwhelmed me. Sometimes while reading this series it felt like that's all I'd read for a while without any story plot. They were steamy and great scenes, I would just have preferred more than work out, argue, sex, repeat. Spoilers ahead. Towards the end of the series it was almost expected what happened. Especially with the bag order from Zeus. I did really enjoy this series. Persephone and Hades were always my favorite divine couple, even more than Psyche and Eros. So it was a bit sad that they were broken up and especially the painful way it happened.
I am a big fan of Mila Young's fairytale retailings so when she came out with this one I got all kinds of excited....I absolutely love mythology and I knew she would do it justice and trust me she did not disappoint such a great storyline and I absolutely love her FMC Elyse and of course you can't forget about how much hotness she puts in her books.....such an amazing series it is definitely a must read and deserves more than 5 stars. If you like sexy guys a strong FMC and a vivid storyline then this is the series you have been waiting for.
The character structure was amazing, the storyline as well to a point but the reverse harem stuff annoys the fuck out of me. I tried getting through it but Young rushed the sexy bits as well as the feelings. Insta lust is not very interesting and her heroine has no self-control. I thought I was going to read how she was drawn to one particular God emotionally as well as physically but no dice. In this series she is instantly attracted to any God that crosses her path. I could see the insta lust angle but I’d hoped she’d have some bloody self-control over most of the Gods attractive qualities.
Hello! I loved these books. They were great. I've just recently gotten into reverse harem books and I absolutely love them.
*spoiler below*
I'm giving 4 instead of 5, Because I do dont like the way she came into her complete power. Through "Hades is mine" we keep getting told that she has to believe in the power with herself and nobody can tell her.. but that's what happens.. zues pretty much tells her what's what.. and I dont feel like that was okay.. she doubted herself through every book and all through the last one, then when he tells her what his power does to her, she all of a sudden does doubt. Theres no building it up.
If you like Greek mythology with a modern day twist and strong female characters this is the box set for you. These books are hot and steamy, action packed, and have twists and turns keeping you at the edge of your seat. Each book starts where the previous book left off and are very detailed and smooth to read. I highly recommend this boxset.
I loved the character development and how everything melded together over the course of the books. It was frustrating at times when characters took so long to realize something that should have been obvious, however that made it easier to relate to the characters as a whole. Will definitely be looking up more books by this author!
I couldn’t finish it. The concept was good, the writing was poor and the plot line was redundant. I really wanted to like this series, but I just couldn’t.
I chose 4 stars just because sometimes there were spots that seemed redundant and repeated. But other than that, fantastic read and we'll worth your time!
