When artless meets masterful, it’s a battle of opposites attract. The prize is a lifetime of happiness.
Orion is caustic and bitter. He doesn’t like people, nor does he enjoy their company. There’s nothing Orion needs beyond a good book. But Tucker keeps coming around and Orion doesn’t understand why he doesn’t want it to stop. As one owner of Cubs for Rent—a male escort service—Tucker already has too many men chasing him. Orion has no intention of joining the flock. Life doesn’t care what he wants.
When Tucker met Orion, Orion accused him of being a liar and shut him down on every level. For someone who’s used to getting any man he wants, Orion is an irresistible challenge. He’s awkward and cranky. His head is always in the clouds and Tucker wants Orion with every fiber of his being. But this might be the one time Tucker doesn’t get his way.
Orion has already suffered enough heartaches in his life, but Orion wants Tucker. That’s a truth he can’t shake. For once, Orion might have to set aside his books and live. How terrifying.

I have really enjoyed reading Charity’s shorts stories so far but this one just no. Book 1 Orion was made out to be this closed off interesting guy, sounded like a great story but in Orion’s story he was completely different person, this is why I gave up reading m/f books as the girl always changes who she is just like Orion did. The two stars went to Tucker, I did like Tucker. Also Tanner wasn’t in this story. It really didn’t work with who Orion was meant to be, but looking forward to Toby’s story.
Damnnn. This is really really good. I love how Orion got to meet the triplets - it's kinda funny 😝
The part where Tucker got jealous of Mister and had a melt down broke my heart and made me cry. I love them two, Orion Moon and Tucker. Their backstories are really painful and affected how they are in the present, but still, they managed. 👌
Tucker's alter ego also surprised me, I wasn't expecting that 😝
I really loved the book. There were ups and downs from both characters. I really like the shy Orion and the boisterous Tucker. I want to see more of Mister and even Kevin.
Creo que acabo de encontrar a mi pareja favorita dentro de toda la serie, son monisimos juntos. Cada uno con sus rarezas y lo bien que se complementan.
To my ratings: A 3,5* is clicked with a 4* but in review marked as 3,5*:
5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile’ or ‘Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the the kids’ series from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or ‘Liberty’ from Seth King), it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books and Davidson Kings 'Haven Hart'-series) it's like an A
3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in hospitals). I can recommend them definitively! It's like an B+
3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader (2-3 times a year), it's like a B
2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-reader (I wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok) It's like a C-, D
1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolute NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole line, dismissed, repeat the class
