EVERYTHING WILL WORK OUT HOW IT IS SUPPOSED TO
The story is of a married couple, Rose and Keith, who have a D/s lifestyle, had made plans for their life and marriage, and their dreams of having a houseful of children. Sometimes in life, dreams are shattered, and for this couple, the hopes of having a child have diminished with each failure at fertility, and in the process, it is harming their close relationship. For them, a wise friend, Jared, will suggest a getaway to reconnect at a BDSM resort. Not only will the time there help realign their relationship, but it will also become an eye-opener of discovery for Rose.
With each visit to the doctor, and the disheartening news that Rose is not pregnant is more than a letdown, it is a step back in the dynamics of the D/s relationship with her husband, Keith. At some point, he must put his foot down and take the lead.
“We’re going back to being Keith and Rose. Husband and wife. Dominant and submissive. We’re going to reclaim this relationship before there is nothing left to salvage.”
Keith can no longer watch the love of his life sink further into despair and grief, and when he gives her a direct command, and she ignores him repeatedly, he knows that action is needed.
“Do I have to remind you that you’re in the den of the devil and need to behave?”
A trip to a BDSM resort will become a chance for them to move forward, reconnect, and discover once again.

This was very well written and very enjoyable to read.. I was sad with Katie because I cannot imagine the heartache she was going through.. but she was so strong and amazing.. and her husband/dom knew exactly what they both needed and how to try to heal things.. I loved watching their journey.. finding out who they are as individuals and as a couple... figuring out how to heal and love and truly be d/s again and husband and wife again. They are an amazing couple and I loved this story. I am glad I got to review it

While there were a few very sexy and fun scenes in the story, something just wasn't working for me. The story was kind of all over the place. I wasn't feeling the connection with the characters like I should. Some of it is the fact that I just don't enjoy switches very much, but it was more than that. The right words were used, but I just wasn't feeling it. The ending seemed kind of rushed and thrown together too. Katie was too much of a stranger to really care about at all

This is my first Allysa Hart read. It most definitely will not be my last!
At times I thought she was in my head. Keith and Rose are a married couple in a committed Dom/Sub relationship. They have been trying for some time to have a baby. I know the feeling of loss and helplessness that infertility can bring. I cried during the prologue! Their relationship is fraying and neither understands how to make it better. On the advice of a friend they go on a trip to reconnect as a couple and to reassert their roles in the relationship.
This is the story of how Rose finds a part of herself with the help of her mate and Dom, and how Keith grows and sees his failings in not being able to provide what Rose needs. They go away on a vacation to a BDSM resort in Montana. The Rawhide Ranch has everything! Along with what turns out to be the answer to the need to nurture for Rose.
Ms. Hart weaves a beautiful story, her characters are strong, well developed, and adventurous. She deals with the aspects of Dom/Sub relations, age play, abuse and nurture. In a wonderfully, spun story. I will warn please see above - it's a book about sex! But, also a wonderful love story. I look forward to reading the next installment and getting to know their story as well. Well Done!

Rose and Keith have had a stagnant rut in their marriage. Both want more and aren't really sure what it is they need. Keith has an idea and calls in a favor from a friend and takes his blushing bride to Rawhide Ranch for a vacation. He knows that he has to try to help their marriage one way or the other in order to save it.
Rose knows it's in her being to submit to her husband. But coming up not pregnant every month, him not giving her the baby she craves, as well as she not giving it to him, has her ready to throw in the towel....in more ways than one.
Rawhide Ranch exposes so many layers of Roae she didn't realize she had. Realizing she is actually a "switch" and not just sub helps her ease so many areas of hurt in her life, leaving her a new person. This read had me wishing I was Rose, receiving every punishment that was given. Ms. Hart is such an eloquent Weaver of Words that I truly felt as if I was living in this book, not merely reading it. I HOPE this book can be the begging of a spin off series with the Ranch! Must read!!

I enjoyed this book, the story is interesting and entertaining. I am new to Allie Belle’s work so I was not sure what to expect and I am happy to say she did not disappoint one bit. I enjoyed her writing style, the storylines she created are original, they grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it straight to the end. The characters are likable and nicely developed. The story focuses on a married couple, Keith and Rose, they’ve come to a lull in their marriage, they’ve been unsuccessful in conceiving a child and Rose seems to be drifting away. On a recommendation Keith takes his wife to an exclusive BDSM resort called the “Rawhide Ranch” it is a perfect place for their chose lifestyle and will give them opportunities to explore other sides of kink. I loved how committed Keith was to Rose and to what extent he would go to make her happy. I enjoyed how everything plays out in this book, everything is plotted out nicely and there is never a dull moment with plenty of drama, a bit of angst, some heartfelt moments, erotic role playing, and some great romance. Allie Belle, thank you for this entertaining and enjoyable story.
I listened to the Audible edition, Jessica Howard is a terrific narrator and voice artist. She does a great job portraying the characters, bringing them to life, giving each their own voice and personality, as well as heart and attitude. She sets the perfect tone for the story and switches character roles smoothly and with ease. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen🎧

When little girls are naughty, they get spanked.
“A Rose In Bloom” is a modern day BDSM story about a couple that takes a much needed vacation in hopes that it will save their marriage. Within the story, there are two main characters and two supporting characters, with a variety of other smaller characters. Each character came off very authentic with their role in the story, giving the reader a real-life perspective on the BDSM lifestyle. Of the main and supporting characters, Rose, the main character, was the character that I enjoyed the most; she was also the character that I felt that I could relate to. I say that because Rose had to step out of her comfort zone in order to discover who she actually was and what she truly wanted out of life; which, I know from experience, isn’t very easy.
If there was anything that I could change about the story, I would change the part in the book where there wasn’t a goodbye scene written in for the main characters and the supporting characters. Seeing how their relationship developed throughout the story and not being able to see how their relationship ended when they had to part ways, kind of made the story feel like it was missing something to me.
Overall, I found the story to flow at an easy pace, giving it the feel of a relaxed read.

It's my first listen by Belle, and while I don't normally listen to age play, her style is easy to listen to and the story is intriguing. It's always fun to venture out of my comfort zone every once in a while, and Keith and Rose's story caught my eye. These two have had some problems having a baby, and while stressed about getting pregnant have lost sight of their own relationship. It's my first listen by Belle, and while I don't normally listen to age play, her style is easy to listen to and the story is intriguing. It's always fun to venture out of my comfort zone every once in a while, and Keith and Rose's story caught my eye. These two have had some problems having a baby, and while stressed about getting pregnant have lost sight of their own relationship. I suppose I should know better considering this is a cross-over with a completely unknown-to-me D/s series.
Woulda been more stars because, like the first two I read, Rawhide Ranch is an emotional fantasy haven for all secret Littles - but the friend’s fiance lg that the FMC meets and connects with on a cosmic level within literally half an hour in the last chapter was utterly rushed, souring the end of the story. The romance between the main characters was “perfect” - ie. There’s no sensation of falling in love. Discovering a new facet of one’s self does not equal a romance story.
THAT is the reason I can’t rate higher than three - this was fine but I found myself waiting to move on to the next book - for the meeting of two (or more) souls and the push and pull of falling hard. Well written, PLENTY of spanking D/s dynamic, a whole lot of quick but spicy heat, but just not enough falling-in-love with a Little plot.

I found this story to be incredible! It’s not just about D/s, it’s about discovering ones true self and accepting that it is okay. Rose and Keith are a married couple, very much in love, but have been having some troubles in their marriage that they want to fix. When it is suggested they go to the Rawhide Ranch, they both feel it is a great idea. They can both learn more about BDSM, but never in a million years did they think that meeting Littles would change so much in their lives. Rose may be a Submissive, but she is also a strong woman, who discovers something new about herself. Keith is a kind, caring Dom who wants his wife to be happy. The way this author writes, you can feel all the emotions this couple is going thru, and it just endeared me to both of them. They don’t want to give up and both will do anything to keep their marriage intact. I really enjoyed this story and look forward to reading more by this author.

Love takes many shapes. The book had started so well, describing the heart-breaking realities of not being able to conceive. Many women consider that to be the most basic role or desire to fulfil. I was perhaps looking for a different angle at coping with such stress. The love and devotion between the couple, Rose and Keith were well described, and the reader won't doubt their feelings and trust for a minute. Technically, the scenes were well written and help the reader's imagination to closely follow the events and the milieu. The book is well-edited. Yet, I couldn't get my head around the ending, nor for some of the storyline. I have read other BDSM novels but somehow this one didn't catch my interest as much.

There was nothing in the description to say this was an age play book, and I didn't really pick that up from the title, since it's not a genre I normally read.
I'm going to give the book four stars, although I didn't particularly enjoy it. But that is solely because I'm just not into age play and find it a bit squicky, so that's on me.
The book itself was well written, the characters were engaging and the plot interesting, hence the four stars. I'm sure fans of the genre will love this book.
I would have prefered if something in the blurb had indicated the subject matter, since there was no cover with the ARC copy and I haven't read any other Rawhide Ranch books.

This is definitely not your regular "littles" novel....
So, I really enjoyed this BSDM novel, and that's a genre that can be difficult for me to really get into or enjoy. I liked the steamy scenes and the give and take between Keith and Rose. They felt real and passionate where many times BDSM interactions in books come across cold and clinical. Keith and Rose are in a normal Dom/sub relationship and married.
This was the first time I've read a "littles" trope where the little was not in a relationship with the H or h and there was no sexual side to it. So, it was a new take on the trope for me and even though 'littles' isn't my thing, it kept me entertained and I enjoyed it for the most part.

*Spoilers* Keith and Rose have been trying to get pregnant. With each negative, they slowly start to drift apart. When a friend suggests a weekend at a BDSM ranch, they will have a chance to reconnect. Once there, Rose starts to learn about herself, and the owner suggests for her to try her hand at caregiving. On her first day, she learns that that whole she had, slowly gets healed as she nurtures a little girl. I have never read a story like this, and I find it very interesting. I too am having problems having children and it is nice to read about someone with real, emotional, issues.

Keith is the Dom and Rose is his sub. They have been struggling with infertility and it has affected their relationship. They go to a BDSM resort to reconnect and discover the world of Daddies and Littles. Rose is drawn to that world but not in the way you'd expect. Turns out she is a caregiver for Littles and not a Little herself. Some elements of this story didn't ring entirely true. At times Keith didn't seem to understand what she needed, but things were resolved quickly. This is not a typical Daddy/Little girl story and maybe I didn't enjoy it as much because of that. There are also a lot of BDSM elements. 3.5 stars

This was the second book I read in the Rawhide Ranch series, and it shows the DD/LG from the mummy/daddy side, I have to admit Keith and Rose broke my heart, it was a true roller coaster of emotions, which Allysa delivered in a way to make readers feel what the couple were going through. I am so glad they were able to find a route they could both follow, and Rose could find her missing piece. I have thoroughly enjoyed my 10 day journey from book to book, and am eagerly awaiting more from this series.

I know this series is written by different authors but it's a little annoying when information from one book is brought up in another and the story doesn't match. In Sophie's book she was beaten, rape and thrown in a ditch to dye. Jasper set up everything to send her to Rawhide ranch at that point she didn't know she was a little. In this book she says she researched the ranch and decided to go there and Nanny J told Derek they were keeping her. I enjoyed the book it just bugs me when things don't jive

When I picked up this book I expected our heroine to find her inner Little. Instead what I got was a roller coaster ride of emotions as Rose struggled to find a new balance with her husband and Dom, Keith.
Well written, fast-paced with plenty of spanking scenes this book checked off most of my wants for an ageplay book. Personally myself, I can't wait to revisit the Rawhide Ranch.

Rose and Keith have been trying to get pregnant and not succeeding. They are both stressed and Keith decides that they need to reconnect. So they go to Rawhide Ranch, which is a BDSM resort. When they get there, Rose is uncomfortable. She doesn't want to be a school girl or a Little of any kind. But Derek, the owner of the resort, knows what she needs. There is discipline and some dungeon play. I enjoyed this new version of an old story and there is a lot of new material.

I loved this story and I read every word and I still wanted lots more. It is about living a BDSM life in the real world. Rose and Keith are going through hell and need eachother's help. All the characters are very well done. There are plenty of hot spicy sexy scenes and age-play. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and I very highly recommend it. A story to laugh, cry and love. Wonderful.

Wow what a great storyline. I truly felt Keith and Rose’s pain. Keith truly is your alpha male who is not only going to dominate his wife but bring her back to where she belongs in his arm and heart. I loved this story of Keith and Rose! Uncle Jared recommends that they visit the Rawhide Ranch for a reset of their D/s relationship. While watching Master Derek and his wife Sadie, they work through some comfort zones and make a new Dimitri together!
There are so many feels in this book. It’s definitely an adventure that Keith and Rose take. They meet all the objectives head on.
Deep down it’s a wonderful romance complete with an HEA that you won’t see coming!!

I had never read any books by Allysa before this. It won't be my last! The story was so interesting and entertaining. I loved Keith's devotion to his wife, her sassy ways were funny, her eye rolls made me giggle!!! I loved the writing , the attention to detail, the dialogue between all the characters kept you wanting to turn the page and the next one and the next one.... .

I can understand the feelings of being whollow inside. But Keith realized that they needed to step back and recoup their feelings for each other. At the Montana BDSM ranch, Rose described a whole new side of her. This is a beautiful story, as well as the spankings. I recommend this book to adults, who has a romantic side. Good job.
