Gage Sievers is a man very much in love with his wife. As a man who ticks all the boxes for every woman’s ideal, he’s had his share of admirers, but none more forceful than the widow whose finances he was in charge of after her elderly husband’s death. Gage had no interest in the woman and thought that like the others before her she’d take a hint and move it along, but he didn’t bank on her persistence. Now he finds himself in the precarious position of having to protect his more timid wife and marriage from the man eating vixen who seems obsessed with him.
“Men of Honor: Gage” is the story of Holly and Gage.
Another JS fukathon, with loads of early morning BJs, detailed description of male and female anatomy as well as ludicrous sex scenes. This time the fun is between a totally possessive and alpha H with a big dong, and who is married to our shy, insecure h. Problems arise when a crazy OW decides to take interest in the H, and befriends the h, but he is having none of it..
Absolute insanity which is 80% Kama sutra and we also get the insane OWs POV.
I can’t even. To be honest, it went on for too long and the ending was a tad too dramatic for me.
Reread 12/23 I didn't really like this before (hence the 2⭐'s) but I decided to round up this time around because I was jonesing for CRAZY wannabe OW drama... and for that she delivered. Add in that the nasty piece received a serving of comeuppance (which rarely happens) and I was mostly happy. BUT this is still JS, so this is smut. OTT, unrealistic, telenovela level porn... that's it. It's ridiculous, but fun if you're in the right mood and have low expectations.
**** Original Review****
Pretty typical JS book; this one reads like a soapy-smut porno. We have the OTT characters: Gabe the alpha with the 11” cock (cuz that’s reasonable) who will do anything to keep his baby safe. Holly (baby) the shy, weak, former virgin wife that’s an animal in the sack with her “special” lady bits, and knack for giving BJ’s in her sleep. Donna the evil, crazy widow who’s set her sights on stealing Gabe.
Quick KU read (154 pages) with POV’s from all three MC’s. Nothing heavy, pretty ridiculous at times, and some of the “sexytime” made me LOL.
Bottom line- read if you’re looking to kill a couple hours with mindless “book trash”.
Minimal plot, mostly smut; this is a 🌽 if I'm being honest. 😂
This is the first read I've had by this author, and I'm still unsure how to feel about it. I like the writing style at times, but sometimes it feels juvenile. Even the thoughts of the characters come off as immature (on some occasions). Also, there are instances where I feel like there's no difference between the POV of the MCs and the OW. I lost count of the number of times I have to go back to check who's character I'm currently reading.
The OWD was entertaining, I normally hate this, but I had fun reading it because she's freaking delusional. 🤣 Her imagination is really wild, and the narcissistic personality was truly something. Her comeuppance would've been better if it were on page, though. She had it coming anyway.
Overall, this was fun, cringey at times, and the dose of smut was too much for me. Still, it was a short read, so readers could probably read this to pass some time.
Typical Jordan Silver story of love, greed and revenge. I loved it! Holly is a shy woman married to Gage who adores her and is extremely protective of her. They have been married for a year and he is still trying to convince her that she deserves his devotion. In comes a widow who has her eyes set on Gage and he won't have anything to do with her. Eventually, Holly comes into her own and is able to feel secure in her relationship with Gage that she no longer feels threatened by the other woman.
I think Jordan Silver could be a better author of she took out all that graphic sex. It's not romantic to me. I liked the storyline, as I have liked others by her but all that we just is hard to get through. It's straight porn. No romance really just sex. I did like the crazy OW trope and I was glad we were aware that the hero was never remotely interested and I liked how she was foiled in the end by good over evil. She got what she deserved. I just wish it had been more story and less sex. I will read her again I am sure and just skim over the gratuitous sex scenes as usual but I really think that she can do better. Again personal opinion so don't beat me up.
°MCs have been married for a year °Sexual past: virgin heroine/experienced hero °Multiple POVs (hero, heroine and crazy OW) °Possessive obsessed OTT alpha hero (32 y/o) °No OM drama °Lots of OW drama °No cheating °No separation °No pushing away °Very very steamy °Intimate scenes only between hero and heroine °Epilogue: a few months later
A lot of readers don’t like books where the two main characters are already married because they like to read about them getting to know one another and falling in love. I also enjoy it but sometimes I like that the awkward beginning phase is out of the way.
Gage Sievers is 32 years old and a successful investment broker who handles millions of dollars for his clients. He is head over heels in love with his young wife, Holly and will do anything to make her happy.
When Holly was born her parents were older and they sheltered her from the real world. They were not affectionate towards her nor did they ever praise her. As a result she has very low self esteem, something Gage has been working to fix.
Gage and Holly fell in love quickly and within months he proposed. Her parents didn’t approve of their relationship insisting he would dump her once he was tired of her.
When one of Gage’s clients dies he meets Donna, the mans widow to discuss business. When Donna becomes a problem Gage gives her account to one of his employees so he doesn’t have to be near her. Not taking no for an answer Donna decides to befriend Holly and destroy their relationship from the inside.
The story is told by both Gage and Holly but we also get Donna’s POV so we get to see inside her f***ed up mind.
its jordan silver. where else do we get such literary magnificence like "c0ck snot" to describe the wonderful fluids that coat the body of ones extremeties? bahahaha!
listen linda! i didn't read this for enlightenment or philosophy. It was basically pages and pages of gage trying to knock up his wife and avoid entanglements from the other woman donna who doesn't care about marriage vows. holly is a pushover and a shy little thing who is lucky that gage doesn't care about her lack of any kind of ambition in life.
i didn't dnf sooooo.....it ends with hardly any closure. Donna, the other woman is basically in a white padded room and she can't hurt anyone haha
This was just pure smut between a married couple, with another woman trying to come in between them. No threesome by the way if you're looking for it.
Anyway, the plotline was classic JS. I'm trying to embrace my inner slut and just admit to myself and other people that I like JS's work (despite them having many issues) BUT FUCK IT. I love her books.
However, the third POV of Donna, the other woman, really compelled me. I kinda want to read a book with the main character like her, just wrecks people's marriages left and right. She kinda reminded me of Scarlett (fromSiren) but Donna was a bit underdeveloped but this character has potentials.
Don’t you love it when the crazy evil person gets what they deserve in the end? I enjoyed her part in the story, learning how twisted she was put the icing on the cake. The romance part was the usual Jordan Silver hotness that anyone that reads her works has come to know
What I liked: I liked how the ow got handled. Gage(H) giving the information to the cops to have the ow go to jail was the best punishment for her especially when he sends her that note ;) I also liked how we got ow’s point of view. Lastly, I’m glad Holly(h) grew a backbone.
What I didn’t like: I hated the repetition with how much he loved his wife and how shelter she is. How many times do we need to read it…..we get it he loves his wife, he needs to protect her, her parents shelter her and made her think she wasn’t pretty…blah blah blah.. also I love sex scene but using “cock snot” to describe cum is a no for me.
***Major Spoilers/ Details/Triggers: Ow drama. H and h are married. Ow’s rich husband died and she wants the H to handle her account. Ow wants the H and try’s to get the H’s attention. H doesn’t give the ow any attention and actually brings h to lunch dates so the ow can see he is happily married. Ow doesn’t take the hint and decides to push her way into the h’s life when the H gives the account to one of his accountant. Ow feeds into the h’s insecurities. H has the Ow watched and encourages the h to stand up for herself. The H and h have lots of sex. Ow is turned down and put in her place. h finds out she is pregnant. Ow finds out and goes to their house but H sees and has his mom go. Ow runs home. H has the ow’s past investigated and we find out that ow killed her aunt answered uncle and she had her husband’s will change illegally so that she gets all the money. H gives the information to the cops. Ow goes to jail. HEA with h delivering twin boys.
Descriptive Sex: Yes
Final thoughts: This was rough for me. One star for the ow going to jail and the other for the h growing a backbone towards the ow. Thank goodness it was on KU.

Jordan Silver always writes OTT ridiculous stories, but she sometimes comes up with great plots and characters. This one has the OW drama in spades and I enjoyed that, but had to skip/skim through pages and pages of “intimate scenes” involving larger than life and honestly descriptions of what amount to cringey moments that really aren’t at all appealing in even my book world, but again the OW drama is definitely there.
I do appreciate the surprise release of the book but I realize that I am skipping over the sex scene more and more. They are taking up too much of the story. I mean it three chapters straight of them having sex. I am a big fan of yours but I am also tired of being afraid to give you a negative feedback because you don't seem to do good with them. When an honest opinion is given and it not positive, you then hold a book back as punishment
This story wasn’t all that great. There was too much s e x. Which I hate having a complaint about but it really was a gratuitous amount. Besides that, the plot revolves around an OW but nothing really happens with her. All she did was some lite stalking and mild/childish bullying and while she was getting crazier in her mind and could have been more of a threat the story didn’t actually have her do anything of note. The FMC could have squashed her like a bug if she wasn’t written like a wimp. Idc how humble the author claims she was raised the FMC lived in the real world, had gone to college, had been in a sorority, she could have damn well taken care of herself. The FMC being such a coward through the whole book was just boring and NOT endearing as the author was trying to make her. The MMC was annoying in that he was playing games with the OW when he could have shut her down from the get go by disappearing her money or outright dismissing her from his firm.
Basically this book was a waste of time. Good luck.
I really liked this book. I especially liked that even though Gage is the ultimate alpha, his goal is to build up his wife’s confidence and make her stronger and face down the woman trying to destroy their marriage, not just handle it himself. Holly and Gage steamed up the pages and Jordan Silver is known for that, but the book also showed a woman coming into her own, and I appreciated that. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
let me get this straight, big Alpha with a weak wife, where do you writers come up with these female characters ? It almost like you folks have daddy issues, you can tell you never had good piece. I remember when you use to just be a fun read, now you just write the most ridiculous male and female characters and too much porn
2 1/2 stars The H and h have been married a year and hoping to get pregnant. The H is dominant and the h has been raised to have low self esteem and self worth. The H is working to build her self confidence. The H has a client, a young widow who married an 88 year old, and has now set her sights on the rich, handsome, young H. She dismisses the h as being no competition. The widow, OW, has rebuilt herself from trailer trash using money from her aunt. She compensates for being discarded by her father, half siblings and peers by being ruthless in clearing obstacles in the way of what she wants. The H helps the h build her self esteem by standing up to the machinations of the OW much to the frustration of the OW. Of course jail time is involved.
Gage and Holly Sievers met , had a whirlwind courtship and have been married about a year. Gage is all Alpha. Holly is sweet and shy. Her self esteem low, due to her upbringing. Something Gage is working hard to change. All his hard work starts to unravel when a young widow client sets her sites on Gage. Holly's two college bestys have her back. Her mother in law as well as Gage's nanny go into mama bear mode, where Holly is concerned. Holly has to learn to stand up for herself. There is more to Donna then a woman on the hunt for another woman's man. Fast paced, steamy, A great romantic suspense.
Author Jordan Silver, I don't know how you do it or where you get your characters but omg I couldn't put this book down. Gage is definitely My book boyfriend for sure, he's sweet, over protective and sexy to boot, and he ended up with Holly, who is the sweetest heroine ever. She maybe shy, and quiet but she comes out of her shell soon enough. I love this couple together, they don't noticed anyone else but each other. Once again you blew me away author Jordan Silver, well done!
The amount of synonyms used for certain words and phrases was impressive, but that's as far as things impressive in this novel went. The way this was written kind of reminded me of the monologue in American Psycho, especially when it was in the point of view of Donna and Gage. This was such a short book but I kept putting it off finishing because there really wasn't much to the story (and what was there in terms of plot was just not very good) so I wasn't inclined to pick it up and continue reading. But I finally did and the ending was meh.
I was a little sceptical after the first 2 pages but gave it the first chapter to decide. I can't comment on the author's style or effort thus 2 stars. I read a lot of hot and steamy books and I can handle a lot. This book ,though touting deep caring for his wife, felt dark and angry and more sadistic than I care for. I will not bother with even a page from second book. Sorry
Gage loves his wife more than anything in the world. When this viper of a woman wants him for herself and will do anything to get his wife Holly out of the way, that’s when the fireworks start. It’s wonderful to see what Gage does to not only protect his wife but make sure she knows how to stand up for herself. To see the viper “Donna” get what she deserves…chefs kiss
Absolutely love it, I found myself pretty much on the edge of sleep but was so engrossed that I was propped up on my still healing arm gripping the covers to keep from waking up my old man when I realized I had read 91% and now it's time to get up and I haven't been asleep yet!
I do so love a good, sexy read and no one does it better than Jordan Silver! This book has it all: a totally, over the top alpha hero; a heroine that is timid and shy, but finds her voice; side characters that make you smile; and a villainess that you love to hate. This book is a perfect escape for a lazy afternoon read.
I can't get enough of Mama B's stories ! The crazy , over the top alphas are so much fun to imagine . Have has earned his spot beside Lyon , Talon and Brett . These characters are the stuff of dreams ! These stories also help during these awful days of fear . As always , Mama B is the best !
This book takes honoring your wife to a whole other level. Can Gage be real? Can we clone him? Please?! Just another reason to adore Jordan’s writing. This book follows no trope I can think of. It’s original, intriguing, and keeps you wondering where it’s going. The different POVs surprised me and had me hooked. One more I couldn’t put down.💖💖💖💖💖
