This book is pretty much as I expected it to be. It's a nice little study about prayer that you can follow for 90 days (or faster or slower, depending on if you want to read more or less, I guess.) It's broken into little daily chunks that focuses on a segment of scripture, has a little devotional about it, and ends with a sample prayer. Personally, I've never really used the sample prayers books like these end with, but the chapter does give you ideas and topics to then form your own prayers around.
The book follows a linear path through the Bible and includes many different topics from praying for others to asking for help for yourself. Each chapter or "day" is quite short, making it something that could easily be added to your day or integrated into your previous Bible study routine.
My biggest issue with the book was that a lot of the formatting seemed a little wonky. It was still readable, but sometimes sentences were broken apart into different lines, or some words were smashed together oddly. However, my copy was an e-book, so I'm not sure if it might have been an issue with just that, or even maybe something about the device I was using.
