No Cross No Crown Trust God Through the Battle

Rate this book
“Why do we suffer? Should God prevent our trials, tribulations, and storms? Most people want God to deliver them from trouble. But that’s not what happens. He allows us to be troubled. He allows us to be tried, go through storms and face tribulations. He allows us to suffer because He is with us and knows we will come through alright.“Charlena has an awesome way of helping us understand that if we want a “crown” we must carry our “crosses.” No Cross, No Crown. The things that earn us our crowns are the crosses we bear, even in the heat of the day. What strengthens us to carry our crosses is the knowledge that one day we will exchange them for our crowns."Charlena’s writings help to refocus readers on the spiritual gifts that come from bearing your burdens with the promise of the gifts that come as a result of carrying heavy loads. Charlena has the ability to translate her real-life experiences for others and provide a methodology that takes one from a cross to a crown.”Kenneth Alexander, Pastor, Antioch Baptist Church North, Atlanta, GA

No Cross No Crown Trust God Through the Battle is phenomenal!!! Praise God for the author Charlena Jackson! I read this book filled with tears of sorrow and pain--knowing that I am NOT alone. I was filled with tears of pure joy and happiness! After reading No Cross No Crown Trust God Through the Battle, I realized someone is ALWAYS going through way worse than you. I do not know how Charlena Jackson got through her trials and tribulations, as she said, by God's Grace and Mercy! Charlena Jackson is a Warrior and a Survivor! I might have given up a long time ago if I was walking in her shoes.

To be honest, I wasn't a believer, however, after reading No Cross No Crown Trust God Through the Battle Charlena Jackson made me into a believer as she used scriptures to confirm her trials and tribulations. At the end of each chapter was a heartfelt powerful prayer. As a matter of fact, I pick one of her prayers every day to say a prayer.

Charlena Jackson helped changed my life in so many ways. I've read ALL of her books and they are Beyond AMAZING!

If someone can make you a believer then that person words are very real, very true, and heartfelt. I felt her soul, I felt her pain, I felt like I was walking with her through her challenges.

Charlena Jackson gives everyone credit in her books-- but I am going to say, Charlena is a Trailblazer and a phenomenal woman! She is changing lives with her writing and her messages are relatable to the world! ...And for that, I thank her for her time, dedication and willingness to help others...

Must read!

I learned of this author from reading her books that were placed in the Little Libary in my neighborhood. I must say, I was looking in all of the Little Libraries to find No Cross No Crown Trust God Through the Battle because I enjoyed all of her books! Sadly, I couldn't find it. I purchased all of her book and No Cross No Crown Trust God Through the Battle as well!

I love the author messages in all of her books. They are so heartfelt and powerful.

I was anxious to read No Cross No Crown Trust God Through the Battle. I have to say, it wasn't what I expected. It was more than I expected!

I thought the author was going to preach and talk about God throughout the entire book and use "examples" of what other people has gone through. No, instead the author was bold and brave to tell her story. She spoke of her trials and tribulations throughout her life. Her challenges never got the best of her, maybe showed weakness in her spirt, but it never took her soul. My heart was breaking as I was reading. My eyes were filled with rivers of water because it shows if someone put their mind to do something it will be achieved. The author stands against defeat and conquers her worse moments. She was a soul warrior.

No Cross No Crown Trust God Through the Battle revived my soul, it cleansed my spirit. it opened my eyes to see that our battles are temperately.

This was a "right on time" book! I have been going through a lot of battles, and I felt like I was losing the fight. However, after reading No Cross No Crown Trust God Through the Battle, the author gave me the courage and strength to get through another unknown day.

I bought four copies. One for my workplace, my car and one for my home, that way I can read it where ever I am and will not replace it. I also bought one for my co-worker.

The battles that left me battled and bruised are proof that I am human. They are proof that I won the war because I am still here!

After reading this remarkable book made me grateful for my scars! Ms. Charlena E. Jackson, you are a wonderful and strong woman! I hope you know your writing is changing lives--young and old!

Amazing author, amazing book!

It shows that we all are going through something in life. Sometimes we think what we are going through is worse than what another person is going through, but after reading No Cross NO Cron Trust God Through the Battle, Lord have mercy, I thought what I was going through was hell, but good God, the author, Charlena E. Jackson battle the storm, she carried the entire world and more on her shoulder. This lady is a hero, she is a trailblazer, strong, a life changer, and making a huge difference in people lives. When I picked this book up I was going through a lot of life challengings as I dodge bullets, hail from the storm that was shaking up my world--Charlena E. Jackson made he realize life is about going around the storm, it takes a long time, but at least we have time to think, live life, enjoy the sunshine, sprinkle, rain and storm that comes out of nowhere. The author carried her cross and God knows she earned her crown. She did not only give me hope, but she made me believe that I too can carry multiple crosses that are lying in my path that I must pick up along the way. I cried and shed many many many tears while reading No Cross No Crown Trust God Through the Battle because God knows, Charlena E.. Jackson had great mightly faith. Wow. I do not how she made it. As she said in the book she made it by God's grace and mercy. God used her to let everyone see and know that He is possible. After reading this book, I know that any and everything is possible f we believe, work hard, and keep going.

I am wondering why are people sleeping on this book and most definitely the Author Charlena E. Jackson. I read all of her books. From Teacher’s Just Don’t Understand Bullying Hurts. I’m Speaking Up but You’re Not Listening, A Woman’s Love is Never Good Enough, and Unapologetic for My Flaws and All. I am not a religious person (not by far) but I read her book No Cross-No Crown Trust God Through the Battle as well. All of her books have a great defined meaning. I was lucky to come by all of her books because they were in the Little Libraries around the city of Atlanta. All of them were signed copies with a message in each one. I can’t afford to buy a book at the moment, but I was/am lucky I read them all. I wrote down some notes from each of her books and keep them with me. Her books are Powerful. They will make you Unstoppable. I started Believing in abilities. I found the Courage to put my best foot forward oppose to making our excuses. The author wrote a message and signed each book. However, I noticed she doesn’t have a lot of reviews on Amazon or enough on Barnes and Nobles or Goodreads. I think people are so selfish nowadays. I noticed when I walk by the Little Libraries her books have been read and/or her books are not in the Little Libraries. With that being said, the least everyone can do is write a review, Apparently, everyone is loving her books. The books were/are free. Gosh, people always want something for nothing. I wanted to make time to write a review because the author didn’t have to give her books away for free. Nor did she have to write a message and sign her books. The least we can do is show support. If I was the author I wouldn’t give away any more books, but I am glad I came across each book she’s written.

I was having the worst of days of all the days I've lived. It is raining here and I decided to take a walk in the park. Next thing I knew, I came across No Cross No Crown Trust God Through The Battle 2nd edition. The cover gained my attention as I felt like the mountains represent my life as I am trying to gain strength to climb the mountains in my life right now. However, I feel like the forest and the trees on the cover, because I haven't even started to climb the mountain, because I am lost in the forest with my thoughts. As my stressful life consumes my thoughts I begin to think there is no way I can make it. I cried and cried asking God how am I going to make it. How and I going to do away with all the stress and issues in my life. That is when I walked right past a little library that I never knew that was near my house. I opened it, and there you have it. the words No Cross No Crown Trust God Through the Battle spoke to me and answered my cry. I flipped through the pages and I came across this quote from the author.

“After all, something worth having produces growth and a firm foundation to stand on.”

It helped me to know and believe, God, is my foundation. God is my rock. As I walked and was reading this book in the rain, I had to write a review right away. I am now on Chapter 4 because this book is speaking life into me. This book is such a blessing and I am so glad the author wrote this book because I now see that other people are going through far worse and I know God is my all and all what and why do I fear. I am going to take up my cross and complete the book today!

I am a fan of the author Ms. Charlena E. Jackson, her writing always moves my spirit and always put joy in my heart. I've been struggling for years and decades and I've read a book that is so profound as No Cross No Crown Trust God Through the Battle 2nd ed. I read the 1st edition, but the 2nd ed is so much better and the prayers broke down my soul as it rebuilt me from the ground up.

Ms. Charlena E. Jackson has a way with her words, she tells her story. I hope one day soon she will have a book signing and speak somewhere where I can come to enjoy her stories. The first page grounded my soul. I cried and cried because I felt like she was speaking directly to me.

As I read each chapter it broke me down to the point I knew I wasn't alone. Charlena E. Jackson is a warrior for telling her story. I hope she understands she is changing lives for the better.

I do not have a favorite chapter because all of them spoke to my heart and dissect my soul.

Amazing read. God bless Ms. Charlena E. Jackson's soul and heart. I pray that God protects her because we need more writers like her, She's been through what we as people who are struggling in life have gone through. She gives us hope to keep moving forward. God blessed her to bless others.

I am not a religious person, but this book brought me to my knees and I prayed for the first time ever. I never believed in the bible because some people believe everything it says. However, after reading No Cross No Crown Trust God Through the Battle 2nd edition, I was blown away, because the author wasn't like any other. I tried ready religious books, but couldn't get into the story, but this author, used her life story as she used some scriptures in the bible to write her story. I was blown away because her life stories fit each scripture she used from the bible. I was like wow, how in the world did she do that. I was impressed and she made me a believer. I love this book. It is touching as she is a courageous person who gave me hope to make it through another day. I think it is funny, how this book made me a non-believer a believer.

Who would have known someone would be able to write a story using the scripture in the bible. I never ever seen anything like this before. Very creative. If you do not believe in a higher power, read this book, it will change your mind.

I read No Cross No Crown Trust God Through the Battle in 2017. I read it several times with my wife. We read it as a devotional book. I must say, it came in handy and it failed into our hands at the right time. My wife and I were having some challenging times, but this book changed our lives. I felt like this book had a purpose to served and it served it well. We all have our uphill battles, however, there are times when the bible just doesn't cut it. However, when my wife and I read No Cross No Crown Trust God Through the Battle, we were surprised to see the author used scriptures from the bible to describe her daily battles and how she got through it. There are times when "famous" author makes up stories to sell a book and put scriptures in to make their book sound good. However, the author told her story and used scriptures for proof to "nonfamous" people like us. She exposed her weakness and how she gathered her strength.

I think No Cross Crown Trust God Through the Battle needs more exposure and creditability. This book has made my wife and I look at life through a totally different lens. We've read this book several times and each time we learn something different. This book makes us questions about what can we do better. It makes us thankful for what we have and the struggles we've gotten through.

This book deserves more than 5 stars and is a must read!

Great book!

I just completed the author's book Dying on the inside and suffocating on the outside--which was a page-turner! I must say, I am a big fan of Charlene Jackson. I read all of her books and I am working on the second editions that she recently released. I can say, I love the 2nd editions better than the first edition. She added more in the 2nd editions. What I like so far in the 2nd edition of No Cross No Crown Trust God Through The Battle is the prayers at the end of the chapter! They are full-spread prayers. I love the author's life story. One thing for sure, God kept her. When I think about my problems, I always think someone has it way worse than I do. I am still reading this book, but like always, I love the author's messages.
