Un récit entre passé et présent, le lecteur ignore jusqu'à la toute fin de l'ouvrage, jusqu'au dénouement final, ce qu'a fait Elliot, ce qui a mal tourné. Elliot parviendra-t- il à percer le secret des dix années de silence de Macy et à se dépasser lui-même, pour la convaincre que l'amour absolu existe.

Loved this book. Cute story. I did however think that the crash was going to be her fault and to do with a kid and that’s why she went into pediatrics.

Omg I loved this book! I love how the characters were all about reading and how Elliot made Macy smile in such by just being there. Also how Sean recognized that Macy wasn't happy with him was kind, but I do wish that there was a little bit of work for her on Sean's end. When Macy and Elliot were younger they had such good communication, but then that kinda went away. I kinda wish that they didn't just breeze over what happened to Elliot. I feel that there should have been some sort mention of that? I overall loved the book, but Christina Lauren is one of my fav authors so that's expected!

Emotional...
I loved the bond Macy & Elliot had growing up. They both loved to read and the room she had for a library was awesome. My only issue was if he loved her so much why didn't he try to contact her in all the tea they were apart. All and all the book was an emotional ride and I didn't want it to end.

Could’ve, would’ve, should’ve

This book was a delight and full of “remember when“ for my own past, some painful, others all too glad that I grew out of. The story is written in a then and now back and forth perspective, so you get to wonder what happened to this great love?
