Follow a colorful blob of modeling dough as it forms a ball, rolls into a snake, coils into a pot, and more in this adorable board book!
In this charming story, children can learn the simple lesson that change is a constant--and they can learn it through art and play! The straightforward narrative paired with quirky visual humor makes this the perfect board book for budding creative kids.
Thank you Dolly Parton for this one. It’s really cute and creative. The words and pictures are all clay shapes. My daughter had me read it several times in a row and she wanted to go back and see the pictures again.
Good introduction to clay concepts and clay projects. Nice photos. Sometimes children need a little visual stimulus before playing with clay - the squish -factor is tricky but also the “what do I do with this?”
Bright, colorful photographs illustrate this clever book. It encourages creative play and is suitable for kids who have grown old enough to play with clay or playdough without trying to eat it. My 3 year old grandson loves it
Thank you, Dolly Parton! This is our favorite book so far from the Imagination Library. It’s a cool, easy to follow story with really cool font (play dough!). Our daughter loves contributing to the story, and it’s a fun read even the hundredth time through.
Kid's art book designed for kids. Each page holds a new surprise and inspires young readers to use their own imagination and create. This is a colorful, cheerful, encouraging read. Nothing is permanent; everything is possible!
Another Imagination Library book that was sent to us. So much you can do with this book. Can be short and sweet read. Could be and activity starter. Could bring about lots of conversations.
My son likes this book! His latest edition of books from Dolly Parton’s imagination library! Great book for talking about shapes, colors and making things.
I may be partial because my dear friend wrote this book. But, it is so colorful! The images are sharp and engaging. And, it is an easy and fun read. I got a copy for my friend and her two young kiddos (5 and 2). They loved it. My friend read it to them right when they got it... and then again the next day. And! They also read along with some clay in the same day. It was a huge hit!
