Uh oh. You’ve just shown up for your date with a straight-laced police officer. One problem, though. There’s a tough biker there, too. That’s right. You’ve accidentally booked two dates for the same night, in the same place. And both of these men are very interested in keeping the evening going. They want you. Badly. So badly, in fact, they’re not going to make you choose one or the other…
New York Times Bestselling author Tessa Bailey can solve all problems except for her own, so she focuses those efforts on stubborn, fictional blue collar men and loyal, lovable heroines. She lives on Long Island avoiding the sun and social interactions, then wonders why no one has called. Dubbed the “Michelangelo of dirty talk,” by Entertainment Weekly, Tessa writes with spice, spirit, swoon and a guaranteed happily ever after. Great steamy quick read between three people. When accidentally booking two dates on one night, you are faced with the biker and the cop. Instead of choosing you're given the choice of having both.
This was a great quick read, it's actually my first mfm book and I loved it. And it was interesting to read it from your own point of view.

Oh, it was good for an extremely short story with a crazy case of instalove. I've heard it on Read Me Romance and the lady reading it was just sooo good. I hate audio books with robotic voices and wrong intonations... This one was perfect.
Welp, this was a miss for me. I need a little build up even in a novella or short story. This one just got right down to it with little connection between the characters. I'm not a fan of second person POV. I assume it's meant to bring the reader into the story, but it didn't work for me. It is hot as hell if that's what you're looking for though.
I really need to look a little deeper at things before I dive in blindly. Luckily I listened to this one with headphones on. My hands were busy so I figured I would throw on some background noise but when I opened spotify my podcasts were open and I came across this as I was scrolling and figured Hell Yeah it's Tessa Bailey.
I wasn't expecting it to be quite so hot. I absolutely wasn't expecting it to be MFM. But I was expecting to love it and I really did.
Another miss for me from the Read Me Romance podcast...
This one was written in a jarring second person declarative form that was meant to bring you in the story I imagine, but did the opposite for me.
The story itself is quite short - a woman, aka "you", books herself two dates at the same time by accident and both men are more than happy to take her home together .
2.5 This novel was weird! It's told in 2nd person and none of the characters have names they are just: You, Cop, and Biker. If I didn't love Tessa Bailey is probably give it 1-2 stars. It's just possessive sex scenes.
Also not my fave TB book🤦🏼♀️ I’m probably just not used to the second person (? You vs she/I) but that felt weird. It was also odd to me that she referred to the men as either cop or biker- people have names! Also personally I prefer swords crossing but🤷🏼♀️ I mean it’s real sexy but Tessa always is
very much wattpad and a reminder of why i was never the y/n fanfics type of girl.
there were a couple (literally two) things the guys said that were actually hot but everything else was a mess. and that epilogue was certainly something (in a very bad way).
Dude, the first ep was like a feather, lightly tickling your lady business...for only 6 damn seconds! Ugh, suuuuch a Clam-Tease! Good thing the second ep mooooooore than satisfied and totes made up for blue ovaries. Quick. Diiirty. Filllthy. Hawwwt.

Fun, quick and steamy! The podcast is good but the banter about CTE that occurs during football was a downer. I also am not a fan of football anyway. The story is awesome though!
I’ll be listening to more of this newly discovered podcast 😜
This was my first mfm story and I enjoyed it. Tessa Bailey knows how to write a hot story but I have to say I wasn't crazy about the 2nd person narrative and most of all I think the epilogue killed my enjoyment of the story. I mean, I'm not a fan of instalove and I made a concession in this story because it's a real short short-story, but the epilogue was completely over the top for me! Even so, for a first experience I'm glad I didn't hate it.
This was a deliciously steamy listen shared by the gals on Read Me Romance! I loved Kit Swann's narration which is fantastic because the last time I tried out RMR I didn't care for the female narrator.
This is told in second-person and took some adjusting as it is definitely not my preferred POV. I think the story would have come across as more authentic with a longer story. I didn't care for the epilogue. I would have been far more satisfied if Bailey had left the encounter as ONS.
Ultimately, not my favorite and certainly not earth-shattering but definitely steamy and an enjoyable way to pass 45 minutes or so!
Title: Double Booked Author: Tessa Bailey Format; audio Narrator: Kit Swann Genre: ménage Standalone: yes Part of a Series: no POV: you Steam Level: hot 5/5
I listened to this audiobook on the Read Me Romance podcast. Short and hot Double Booked a steamy ménage written in the second person. It’s rare to read books written in the second person POV and I forgot how fun they are. What also made this story unique is that you don’t know the characters’ names - it’s just you, Cop and Biker. If you're looking for a uniquely sexy ménage romance with a HEA then listen to Double Booked by Tessa Bailey.
This ”shorty” is just so wonderfully absurd. It’s a total horny-thon full of hot breaths and hormones. And it’s compleatly stripped bare of all but the essential bits. The essential bits, for a hella-hot quickie, that is. Anyway, ”Babe” (names are not essential, apparently) accidentelly double books her dates with two HOT as F*ck alpha-man-beasts at the same restaurant and just can’t choose -so why not just go with it since the guys ”Cop” and ”Biker” seem down with it. -Yeah, that’s about it. Oh, and then there’s all the dirty talk and banging. Jupp. That’s it. So if you’re looking for a quick fantasy double bang, you go right ahead 😊👍🏻
I listened to this audiobook on the Read Me Romance Podcast and it was interesting but I think second person p.o.v is just not for me. There also wasn't any build up and everything escalated quickly. Even though this a novella I would have loved to see even a little bit more connection and build up between the characters. The protagonist met them online but doesn't know their names so she just calls them cop and biker which is a bit weird but I guess that's suppose to add to the mystery aspect of the story. This was steamy though.
I started listening to Read Me Romance when it first started but due to a busy class schedule and a list of things to do a mile long I kept forgetting to listen. I just started back here recently and WOW what a story to start back on! Words can not describe how hot and steamy this story was. All I can say is check it out for yourself on Read Me Romance, just make sure your partner is near by because DAMN!!!!
I listened to this one on the Read Me Romance podcast, and the narration was amazing!
The book puts the reader as the main character who double books two dates on the same night: one with a biker and one with a cop. Things quickly heat up when the men decide that she doesn't have to choose. She can have them both. Together.
A bit cheesy at times, the book relies completely on fantasy, which is probably why the men are never given names.
For a story this length, it managed to make me laugh and also got pretty steamy. But, due to its length it lacked a lot of what really makes me love a book, like character development. There's only three characters and they don't even have names. I'm okay with that, because it's the kind of story it was meant to be. Just not my favorite from Tessa.
3.5 stars I loved the idea of this story. But there just wasn't enough of it for me to really get into it. If it were redone into a full length book, I can imagine it would be great. It didn't bother me in the least that we never knew any of the characters names, but the second person narration took me out of it.
I just wasn't really into this audiobook. Felt a little impersonal and unrealistic to me, but I think that is on purpose. The epilogue was a little cringy in my opinion...
Definitely a good option for someone looking for something short and very spicy.
