Eight studies from the book of 2 Timothy. Following John Stott through this Bible book and learning from this man of God about how we should stand firm in the truth, arguably this is what the church needs today. We need to know the truth, believe the truth and then defend the truth just as Timothy was asked to do by the apostle Paul in the 1sr century.

Summary: Knowing the sacred deposit entrusted to him, the imminence of his own martyrdom, the natural weaknesses of Timothy, the opposition of the world and the extreme subtlety of satan, Paul issued to Timothy his fourfold charge regarding the gospel-to guard it (because it is a priceless treasure), to suffer for it (because it is a stumbling block to the proud), to continue in it (because it is the truth of God) and to proclaim it (because it is good news of salvation).
