I have to say, when I started Caden's Situationship, I wanted to throw my iPad across the room. I was soooooo bored! All I could think was, this series redeemed itself in book two just to let me back down in book three. But, I'm glad I kept listening because it got so much better. Cordelia and Caden are my second favorite couple in this series. Their attraction to one another was so genuine. I love them but, that love started out real rocky. Cordelia, was horrible in the beginning of the book. I didn't like her at all. Between the highfalutin attitude and the bad fashion, she earned a permanent spot on my shyt list right from the start. But, as the book progressed, she redeemed herself. I actually grew to like her stuck up ways. I also didn't think Caden would be as impressive as he was. Since he's the quietest of the brothers, I thought his story would be underwhelming. Oh, how wrong I was! Caden did not come to play! Whew chile! Where are my pearls?!!! Overall, the book was good but what really annoyed me were the stereotypes. This book was riddled with ridiculous Southern stereotypes and, as someone who lives in the South, I'm offended. Jakobi's Southern accent was comical while, Mari's was just plain horrible. She does NOT know how to speak in a Southern accent. You could barely hear it in her dialog. But, I have to admit after a while, it grew on me. Then, Sherrelle hit us with the plot twist in the last three minutes. Carter came through with the ultimate pop up after being MIA for 10 years. Hey Carter! Where you been?!!! I've gone from wanting to be done with this series to counting down the days to when book four will be released on Audible. I might be a fan after all.

I did not like Cordelia at first but she grew on my. She was dealing with a lot because of her family. Caden was a good guy and I they were good together. I loved the relationship Caden had with his family. The ending was a surprise.

Series just gets better and better!

I was not expecting Caden's story to be so hot!!! He seemed so sedate in the other stories. But there was so much 🔥 fire that hadn't been revealed yet. Cordelia was a character! I wish I could have seen one of those ruffle outfits in living color!😂 I loved that Caden & Cordelia 's relationship opened them up not only to each other, but it also was the catalyst for opening up to their families. Both of them were hiding behind a facade, but their love helped them take down the mask to their loved ones. This was a great book! But that last scene??? Baybee!!!! I have been waiting since book 1 for that one. I know it's gonna be 🔥🔥🔥!

Friends to Lovers

Wow Caden and Cordelia were so right for one another. I loved hoe they danced around what was so plain to see! Her parents were a trip especially that stunt her mother pulled! Wow and her dad trying to pull rank! I loved how Caden and his family were so welcoming and Cordelia really did fit right in. Grayson was hilarious! Carter wow! Can't wait to read about his story! Great read Sherelle Green!

hilarious

This is my favorite of the series! Caden is that dude! His and Cordelia’s story is cute and I love how their relationship bloomed! Cordelia grows into herself and it’s so fun to watch. A cowboy love story happened to be just what I needed to read!!!

I really try not to DNF audiobooks since I get "such a limited amount" but ... yo.

No. I started the book and it seemed fine - with the hero - like he gets in a bit of a scrape cuz a crazy bitch but ... it turns out ok.

... And then... we get to the "heroine" - who is a stuck up ... well she's a word.
[A giant fucking snotty bitch - worse words....]
And blessedly this hasn't so much been an issue for me with audiobooks thus far - but - I don't know if it's "just" the narrator but also how she was reading the heroine [which TBH felt/sounded totally on point] - but also ... all I kept thinking was "this bitch makes me want to punch myself through my face" - and why would I torture myself that way?

I shouldn't.

So.

The "heroine" is as I said. Small minded. Petty. Bigoted.
[She's like "I'm a special fancy Black - not like those other trash ass podunk Blacks."]
Just ... a snob, and an idiot.

Like yes I get being frustrated because misogyny but ... don't take it out on strangers? She reams out the [hero] based on a lie her trash ass [cousin?] tells hers? [the original "misunderstanding"?

It was too much.

Wtf?? Why is Cordelia such fucking weirdo caricature? She’s not a southern belle she’s a clown. I’m from the south and this is lowkey offensive. Unless this story is supposed to be satire, i’m confused. She’s working on a ranch, but she wears ugly clown dresses that are too hot for the season and inappropriate to be on a farm and on purpose. We’re expected suspend belief and think this is actually happening but it’s unbelievable. Also, we don’t talk like that. No one speaks like Cordelia irl.
Her behavior is too ridiculous to be taken seriously, and it ruins the entire story. Maybe the author thought she made her quirky and stylish, but this ain’t it. Cordelia is just weird. The chemistry between her and Caden is meh and unbearable at best. By the end she’s a bit more palatable.
The story would’ve been a lot more enjoyable had she been an actual southern woman who is realistic and much more nuanced, instead of being made into a caricature.

I laughed myself through this book!

In previous books Caden always appeared to be the quiet and reserved Madden brother, but this time around he was a straight rodeo savage! Now Cordelia, I don't think I've ever met a character like her. She kept me in stiches with her southern belle charm.

Caden and Cordelia's journey was touching but nonetheless hilarious. Although they were in a 'situation', their chemistry and desire for one another propelled them into a full-on relationship.

No Madden story is complete without the other brothers and their significant others so of course Crayson made his appearance acting up, but this time Caden had a few of his friends to add to the mix and they were all a total mess! We just HAVE to hear from them AGAIN!

Be sure to read this one and hold onto your hat, bows and laces as you laugh through this situation!

I must say I love all of the Madden's. This book here had me laughing out loud 🤣🤣. I don't think there's anyone that can read this book without falling out laughing there's no way🤣🤣. Caden and Cordelia are a hit from the very beginning of the book. It's non-stop comedy , sexiness and love It's so good. It just has everything rolled up into one I just can't 🤣 I love it so much. Please read this book. It is absolutely fabulous. Great job Ms. Green another terrific book.

ngl, after reading malakai and crayson's books, i wasn't sure what to expect when it came to caden. but WOOOOO let me just say, i was not expecting THAT!

caden fully surprised me in this book, and i just love him with ms cordelia <33
now, she didn't make the greatest first impression (i did not like her at all in the beginning), but as time went on, she grew on me and now i love them both!

can't wait to get into carter's book, i just know it's gonna be good! xo

So ready...

I have been waiting for this book for quite a while. I am glad that another Madden found the love of his life.

Caden and Cordelia's love story started off years prior to their freshman year of college. Love, as they have, is going to stand the test of time because it started as a friendship. They were such good friends they had their own little quirky nicknames. Both Caden and Cordelia were multifaceted and I was glad. Caden had a lot of pressure as being the "holier than thou" son and Cordelia family was just "proper." Cordelia being a step ahead of her dad on the family business and becoming a partner made my heart proud. She was great at her job and proved it with all the extra businesses she added to the family business.

I have to say something about Crayson's personality because of his bluntness and no filter, I absolutely love it. Caden may have been the cowboy but Crayson has the countryman dialect and it is hilarious. I am also happy that Carter made an appearance. I was hoping he came home before the end of the novel. I will be waiting to read him and Serenity's story. I really want to know all Carter has endured over the years.

Great read and I would most definitely recommend.

P.S. Are Houston and Katrina going to get a novel, they seem like another interesting couple?

When I tell you this brother and his friend group take you by surprise!!!! I really enjoyed the 3rd book of this series. Cadence was nothing at all what I thought I was due to read about but baby will you be thoroughly surprised. However, everything about damn Cordelia Sugar Rose made me laugh. Like what the hell from the way she talked to the way she dressed. I need to see pictures of these outfits because ain’t no way in hell. This girl was walking around looking like Lil peep on a random Monday for the whole world to see and thought that this was acceptable. It’s one thing to be different and have your own style but she took that shit too far. Once you seen they had history it made sense that Caden could look past it all. I loved everything how the two could totally be their authentic cells with one another with no judgment, nor was either one of them trying to change the other person. Kayden is a very patient man a southern gentleman, and Cordelia takes being a southern bell to a whole Nother level with the country feels. They way he talked to her about allowing her to express her self sexually will have you 😝🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ baby that strip dance class I too would have forgot where I was.

Caden and Cordelia were great couple. It did start out slow-ish. I wasnt sure I was going to be able to hang with Cord and her crazy dresses and funky attitude but as we went along we get to know her more and I could identify with so many aspects of her. That family pressure and expectation is real. Her ways of coping I could completely understand. I do wish there was more realistic resolution with her parents but it may not of flowed with the vibe of the book. I was SO surprised by Caden. I LOVED everything about him. Watching this couple come together and reconnect was sweet and sexy and a fun escape. The family and side character interactions were hillarious and I felt apart of the gang.
Narration: Mari did just enough of a southern-ish accent to get the point across but I have to say it didnt sound like Jakobi even attempted any kind of southern accent and I was disappointed... for Caden to be a southern cowboy boot and hat wearing rancher fella you never would of known it by listening except it is brought up quite a bit in the dialog. I loved that this Madden brother was different from the others and I cant see where we go with the next one.

Well, I did not expect that ending and wow, I immediately downloaded the next book in the series.

But, for Caden’s story, I also did not expect this storyline. I thought it was going to be more of a spoiled heiress gets what’s coming to her by the cowboy she insulted type story. Sorta like a Black Green Acres.

Come to find out, these two, Caden and Cordelia actually know each other and there are some residual feelings. She’s not as stuck up as I thought and he’s DEFINITELY not the innocent cowboy.

There’s a little “arranged marriage” thrown in that wasn’t really as big a deal as what was lead to believe. The parental manipulation part was interesting though..

This book was more about both characters coming to grips and accepting who they were and who they could be together. Caden’s “secret” that he kept from his family seemed a little far fetched. He’s a grown man and can do what he wants, but it seems it was more of a case of perception by not only his family, but the townspeople that he was trying to protect. The reveal though was hilarious.

Overall a good book and the ending was so worth it and a definite shocker.

I didn’t like Cordelia in the beginning. However, as Ms. Green pulls back her layers, I began to understand her. She has her quirks, has a feisty personality and is paving her way by taking chances. She’s much more likable as the story progresses.
There is more to Caden than meets the eye. He’s played the dependable, sweet role for so long, few people know the real him. He’s definitely got some bad boy traits. Ms. Green explores two old friends reconnecting and realizing there have always been feelings below the surface. Caden wanted Cordelia back in the day and that hasn’t changed. His cognac colored eyes and sexy smile has Cordelia’s mind going places it shouldn’t. Ms. Green describes him as “every southern woman’s fantasy in one tall country package”. Caden and Cordelia go down a certain path and there is no turning back. Their
situation evolves over a short period of time, with chemistry that is off the charts. Caden unleashes passion in Cordelia that she didn’t realize was there.

Caden’s Situationship is my first book of the series and the title is very
fitting.

Well, well, well I need a cowboy in my life. I loved Caden and Cordelia. I figured something was up with Cordelia from jump, with her super southern dress and I held out on seeing what her back story was before I made my initial assumption of her, and I'm glad I waited. She was super sweet and was just was Caden needed.

Caden has a big heart and I love his southern charm. Don't see much of that anymore; plus, how can you not love a sexy cowboy😏.

As with Craysons' story, I wasn't expecting the twist in this story. It was a pleasant surprise.

This story had it's funny moments and I'm glad the author added humor.

The way Cordelias' family, mainly her parents, treated her was crap; that whole scene with her mom was weird; who does that🤔?

Either way, that ending has me ready for Carters story. I was hoping more would've been revealed about him by now, so I'm over anxious to know why he's been away so long and what will come of his and Serenitys' situation.

To the next book, in this series, I go.

A Madden Man

Caden, the sweet gentleman, that everyone in town loved. However, no one knew the "real" Caden; not did they take time to find out. He continued to be the good, loyal person everyone expected; until He wanted mire. Cordelia, the southern belle, and the black sheep of her family. Fighting to be seen at her family company, full of men. She lost herself, trying to accepted by her family. Caden and Cordelia seeing each other again at his ranch, after meeting in college was kismet! Their connection and chemistry was explosive! They were able to be their authentic selves together, and lowered all the walls. Their love story was beautiful. Victoria's parents were a while mess! With that being said, how could you leave us out here like that? I hope Carter's story is next. 👍👍👍

I wanted Rodeo Savage to be just a bit more SAVAGE!

I really like the Madden brothers. They are sexy, funny and respectable men! I loved that Caden had a secret side to himself, but I wanted it to be more! I wished we got to delve deeper into his bad side. It was like we were told it was there, but I wanted to tap more into it. Nonetheless, still a great book, just wished he was a little more savage.

Cordelia seriously has to grow on me. I was turned off by her immediately, but I hung in there and once her character developed more, I realized her unappealing shell was how she protected her self.

This book definitely kept me intrigued. Can’t wait for Carter’s story! I have a feeling that is gonna be EPIC!!

I didn't find this story or the character Caden Madden in "#Caden's Situationship{Book 3 of To Marry A Madden) series as interesting as the previous book #CLAIMED BY CRAYSON". Nor did I like the woman he grew affection for & would later wife Cordelia.
I didn't know what to think of a Madden being a cowboy farmer (or whatever he did) by day & STRIPPER by night. It seemed unrealistic, but whatever find people entertained by, I ain't here to judge how one likes their men to be.
I only gave this a 2 star rating because it would cover my favorite MADDEN MAN CRAYSON MADDEN'S WEDDING TO MY FAVORITE MADDEN WIFE JORDAN!
I was also very intrigued by that ending too. Welcome back into the world, CARTER MADDEN!

This book started off rough for me because Cordelia was annoying as fuck. She made me laugh out loud when she followed Caden and Linc to the admin building. I could not stop laughing for a good little minute after listening to that scene. I also laugh when she found out the Caden was stripper. Caden being a stripper shocked the hell out of me. I thought maybe he was selling drugs on the side or stolen property. (I felt kind of bad that I thought so lowly of him.) I want a Rodeo Savage ;). This book was a surprise because I thought I would hate it because of the beginning and how annoying Cordelia was with that Southern Belle mess. Jakobi Diem and Mari did an excellent job with this book. Sherelle Green wrote a great story, and I cannot wait to listen to Carter and Serenity's story.

The Cowboy and the Belle

This story was Smokin hot. Another great Madden brothers story. Caden and Cordelia had great chemistry, and having friendship rainfall back in added depth to their relationship. Casey's friends were totally hilarious and I hope I see stories about each one. Catching up with a few of the other Madden brothers was an added bonus.
Caden and his friends side business was a complete shocker. The fact that Cordelia didn't freak out when she was also shocking, with her southern values was expecting a totally different reaction.
Loved Caden's family wanted to strangle Cordelia 's family..

Coming into one's own

Caden and Cordelia's story is one for the record books. Sherelle let her creative juices flow with this one. If you thought you knew what turn she was going to make with Caden , I can ensure you this one here is a surprise. When prime and proper is more than what meets the eye, you get Cordelia and Caden. You'll love the Madden family and their support of one another. This small town USA (Arkansas) was the perfect backdrop to discovering love and oneself. Houston is definitely a subcharacter that one would like to follow. Throughout the journey of love, you see what it means to be open and honest. Great fun, quirky story to be enjoyed.

I must say I’ve been on the Sherelle Green ride since the beginning! Who knew when she gave us the Elite Events Series we would knee deep in love with not one but 5 #MaddenMen. This story here had all sexiness we come to expect from them #CockyAFMaddens but the comedic moments throughout were pure joy. Cordy is def one of my new “homegirls”. It great seeing some of my favorite characters of Green. Southern Love

Still in love with the Madden's! Caden "The Cowboy" was the reliable trustworthy brother in the family. Little did his family know, but he had another layer that no one could have guessed. Cordelia was prim and proper and couldn't fathom hanging out with a hillbilly cowboy. In just a few weeks everything that she knew to be true about herself was overturned. Caden and Cordelia had immediate chemistry. The author did a good job describing Cordy's outfits because I could vividly picture that mess. Caden was a saint to see who she was beyond all of that. I wanted more, I wanted to see how they connected at the end. I look forward to the next book.

Listen...Chapter Two almost took me out. I was about to STOP listening and just move on. I am not the biggest fan of Mari, and the voice she has given to this woman that is supposed to be Caden's is making it hard for me, on top of just her over all up tight, prissy, belle personality. This is not who Caden should be with at all! Saving grace at this moment is the brothers banter in Chapter 3, and the description of (I don't even know how to spell her name yet) dress as she drives up has me on the floor, crying and writing a review.... let's keep our fingers crossed that Caden and the brothers can continue to keep me listening...or I might just have to READ vs listen this one instead!

Rodeo Savage

Whew, who doesn't love those Madden brothers! Quiet as it was kept, Caden/Rodeo Savage was serving it up country style y'all lol; he managed to get southern belle Cordelia out of them frilly ruffle dresses complete with hat and umbrella and had her petting and talking to Ms. LeeLee, his pet cow. And of course Caden's triplet, Crayson, and friend Linc keep us entertained with the words that come out of their mouths.
As usual Author Sherelle Green keeps us entertained.
