I'm a romance writer, currently traveling the world, seeing all that it has to offer, and probably drinking a little too much wine.

I like striking stories. Romances, UF, PNR. Stories about men that move you, heroines with spines of steel, and villains that make your bones quake. Add in some sexual heat and a HEA, and that's what I try to provide.

First of all, that cover is hot as soon. Second this book is so good. Zahra is one of my go to favorite authors. Each new book keeps getting better and better. Can a fake marriage really help Avery? Rusty thinks so. Steamy, action packed, drama, intense and really good.

Nope.

I don't understand how this author has so many books and such a huge fan base. The first book has stupid main characters so I try the second thinking maybe better. Not. The female is stupid, self destructive and broken. I just couldn't get past 15%.

Fast paced....

This was a fast paced, read (but kind of short) and what I usually go for in a MC romance book. This has the whole 1% percenter vibe I really enjoy but they also have limits of what they tolerate . I would have given 5 ⭐️‘s, but there were a few time I had to reread a sentence bc of the errors, words that should have been deleted that weren’t. This is the second book in this series, the first I’ve given a review on. I liked Rustys story much better than Razors. Razors was good, there were just things missing in that story for me, a little too fast and issues just tied up in the next paragraph . I’m excited to read Mack’s story next. Rustys has an HFN and no cliffhanger.

Avery, smoking Hot Red Head! That ring all of Rusty's bell when he see's her across a crowded bar. He finally makes his move, they share a few drinks, some laughs, and he wakes up tied to a chair. Time for the story to get interesting! These two have shared the same space before, and there is revenge in the air, but wait did Avery get it wrong? No but maybe? There are bigger fish to fry, and when they find out what is going on for real, it makes teaming up even more crucial. All the lies and the pain and torment lead to one fantastic ending! No one messes with Ms Balboa!

Rusty and Avery's story is an exciting page-turner. They are both very strong characters but I thought that they worked really well as a couple. With a dark, violent and painful history serving as a backdrop for their evolving relationship things get off to an intense and emotional start super quickly. You can expect plenty of action, drama, tension, danger, steam and emotion as the gripping story line unfolds. This is a great read that will seriously keep you on edge as you try to anticipate what will happen next. This is my frank, freely posted review.

Triggers...but wowee

Another great read from Zahra Girard.
I will admit that this was a little bit tougher to read. This is where I say, Warning: this book contains bits and pieces pertaining to trafficking children. That was a tough part to read, but I can tell you that Rusty and Avery shut that down quick. When they werent trying to kill each other, they were nearly killing each other with passion.
I would recommend this book.
Happy reading!

Rusty & Avery

What a way to heal all wounds. When a job gets done with a snag, that snag comes back with a vengeance. Rusty all but thinks he will be getting lucky tonight and boy does he when this bombshell of a redhead catches his eye. Only this redhead has a motive to this catch. Seven years have passed and they both need closure. Death is a silent welcome for both but to what extent will they travel to be free. So grab your copy and enjoy the ride with these two and see what the outcome will reveal.

Zahra Girard is an amazing author, just love her! Rusty is the 2nd book in the Twisted Devils MC series and it's a winner. Rusty and Avery have a horrific joint past episode that pushes them together in the present. They're definitely not a typical team, but they're so exciting to read. Great addition to a great series, can't wait read the next book! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Rusty is an action packed story full of drama, danger, suspense and steam. Rusty meets Avery in a bar and shes out for revenge for something that happened seven years ago. These two after getting to know each other had incredible chemistry. Avery was a smart, strong and beautiful while Rusty was her protector with a heart. It had everything I look for in a story. Engaging characters, interesting storyline. It was great and the ending made me happy.

Murder, kidnapping, hate and love !

Interested this book has litt!e of everything ! Rusty has nightmares about what he did seven years earlier. Hired to kill an account who was ratting out his boss to the feds, the nightmares are for the girl who was in the truck when the killing occurs. That girl now a woman finds and kidnaps Rusty and plans on killing him. It's a great story , violence, sexy, and a whole bunch of twist and turns!! Recommend with a 5 Stars rating

I just am not sure

About this book. I really wanted to like it and there are parts that I did. Some of the dialogue was funny and I loved some of the bantering back and forth between characters. The biggest issues I had were that the storyline writing was sort of every where. Many issues in time lapses or things not being explained but then just happen. It made for a confusing read at times. I think I'm not going to continue this series and I really wanted to like it.

3 1/2*
Rusty is still haunted about his time in Phoenix nobody is aware of the battles he faces.
Avery is looking for revenge after her father's murder so is pleased when rusty approaches her.
He's not expecting the night to go as it does and she finds herself questioning things.

I can’t believe how much I laughed! Great Book.

Initially I had a hard time connecting with the book and wasn’t sure if I liked the premise. Then as the story carried on the writing and characters had me hooked. By 40% I was in hysterics of laughter. Then when we got to the part with the perv Edgar I could not stop laughing to catch my breath.

First time Ive read one like this

So I gave five stars for the interesting twist to the couple meeting and their relationship develiping. But, I find it less exciting because it doesnt involve the whole club. There was less MC and I thought the whole wedding prep ect could have been cut in length. Didnt care, wanted them to move on.

I enjoyed this book even more than the first one in the series. Avery and Rusty’s relationship will take you for an emotional ride with unexpected twists and turns. Who knew you could fall in love with a man you hated for so many years and both of you can heal the other mind and soul. Worth pickup up and reading. You won’t be disappointed and there are lots of books in the series to enjoy.

Good read

This book started out with a bang and just kept going. Avery turned out to be one tough woman. She can take a beating and just keep going. Avery and Rusty were the odd couple that turned out to be good together. I liked this book

Love this writer

Another great installment from Zahra. Some bad editing at the in the epilogue kept referring to the hero as Razor instead of Rusty, which was sloppy. Other than that a solid and as usual funny mc story. Hope that crazy Mack is next!

Loved Rusty

I loved Rusty and Avery story, both with darkness and revenge in them, but their love for each other only made them stronger in believing that there is light within them. Love seeing how they work through and found their happiness

What a story!

Girard writes an intricately woven story of MC and cartel intrigue. Decidedly more complex when coupled with heavy emotional trauma in both members and civilian. But what a story, I was sorry to see it end.

Rusty

I swear I was so pissed off at Avery. Because of her being so rash and her stupidity, she almost got the shitty end of the stick. Well not even almost she did get it. Oooh she pissed me off. Lucky for her Rusty wasn't giving up on helping his woman.
