These books have become such comfort rereads for me.

————————

Can definitely say now that Asia Monique is a favourite author of mine and that I’ll want to read all the books!
If you decide to venture into this romance series, I’d recommend reading them in this order, as per the author’s suggestion, since the books do have interweaving storylines.

• Confidently Lost
• Dancing For Your Heart
• Speaking of Love
• Magnolia (Flower Sisters 1)
• Lilac (Flower Sisters 2)
• Juniper (Flower Sisters 3)
• Playing For Your Heart
• Daisy (Flower Sisters 4)
• Blossom (Flower Sisters 5)

Lovers and Friends

Speaking of Love by Asia Monique is about nurse Elena Brooks and art dealer Noah White. These characters are introduced in Confidently Lost, I would suggest you read that first. In the short span of 8 months Elena and Noah have become best friends and Elena has fallen in love with Noah. Elena feels that Noah doesn’t reciprocate as he recently came out of a 14 year relationship. Elena has been so strong for everyone else for so long she’s now vulnerable. I love that Noah recognized her vulnerability and waited until he was sure before making a move. I also love how Noah nurtures and caters to Elena, he’s a sweetheart. This is a beautiful love story and the friendships are bonus!

Another amazing story by Asia Monique. Elena and Noah have my heart their story was absolutely precious. Asia Monique knows how to write hero’s who are so respectful, understanding, patient, and romantic. I also adore the heroines in her books as well. If you’ve never read a book by Asia Monique then you ARE missing out she’s a fantastic writer. This series (which are all stand alones but I highly recommend reading them in order as they’re all connected). I’m so ready to dive into The Flower sisters! I just adore them they’re so fun and are the life’s of the party. Onto Magnolia’s book!

Another great love story

This is just another one of those love stories that just fall into place. I love this author's writing style, her characters and realistic views that every African American couple of individual didn't come from a bad life. Everyone didn't have a ghetto fairytale of knowing or wanting a dope boy. And the characters are real life working people that do what it takes to achieve in school and get the degree, man and life they want. This could have been 5 stars if Nova finally had that baby. But Noah and Elena hooking up was great.

Friends To Lovers

I'm soooooo glad that Noah and Elena finally got together and their relationship is going real good. Noah was afraid to pursue a relationship with Elena after being in one with Corrie for fourteen years and she ended their relationship to see what else was out there for her. I hate that Elena and Elijah's mom passed away but I'm glad that they getting the best gift from their dad. I love the flower sisters and can't wait to read their stories but I was really looking forward to Semaj and his Southern Belle doctor being the next book to drop.

Nice and easy read. Noah and Elena's friends to loves transition was so sweet. Their love was the medicine to support and encourage their healing. It was awesome to get a glimpse of Nova and Elijah, Bryn and Samir, and I look forward to getting to know the flower sisters.

This Love

I'll take me a Noah White any day, ok😏! I just knew I'd love his and Elena's love story.

Elena was a strong woman, a caring sister and devoted daughter. I like that she took on caring for her sick mom, while still pursuing her career. Once she moved closer to her older brother, Elijah, she had more support, yet she didn't take into account that she'd be getting even more support. Noah, whom is Elijah's wife Novas twin brother, fell for Elena on sight. I like how they became really good friends. She needed someone to vent to and he did as well. With them having each other to lean on, it helped each ease into their love for one another. I'm still a bit confused on why her dad didn't want her to visit him in prison. Especially when she needed her dad. I'm glad that she nor Elijah resented their dad for him just truly trying to protect them.

Noah was such a good man, loving brother and caring son. Boy, oh, boy did he have it bad for Elena. She became his rock after his 14 year relationship ended. He truly saw her as a strong woman and they hit it off from the beginning. He never tried to steer their friendship into uncomfortable territory because he cherished what they had. Once he realized that he wanted more and she did too, it was a wrap. I'm kind of glad that his ex popped up, bc she needed to see that he'd moved on and he needed that closure. Elena was his forever. The way that he literally dropped all he was doing to be with Elena during her time of hurt, was the nail in the coffin for me. I've seen how they've progressed in other books and would love more on these two.

As always, I love getting these glimpses of the Flower Sisters. That Juniper is so silly; they all are. Can't wait to see them pop up in future books.

This was another great read. Highly recommend.

Great Story!

TIME. That was what stood out the most in this book. Noah and Elena needed time to develop a friendship. Noah needed time for his mind to catch up to what his heart knew from the start. Elena needed time to reconcile the truth of her parents. Time was a crucial factor in this story, and it's what helped solidify Noah & Elena's love. I loved the way they loved in each other and did the little things to show that they cared. And their passion went from a slow simmer in friendship to an explosive love once they finally entered a relationship. Noah and Elena had a good, solid love and I enjoyed their story immensely!

The hard truth.

Another great read by Ms. Asia. Noah and Elena's story was powerful, deep, and just heartfelt. I loved how Noah just took care of Elena because she was so used to taking care of others. He cooked for her like a gourmet chef and catered to every need while she grieved. Her mother passing brought the family together. I'm glad that Elena, Elijah, and their father finally had a heart to heart. I'm also glad he is going to be released in the summer so he can get to spend time with his grandbaby. He will also get to walk Elena down the aisle.

A wonderful, fantastic read and I'm looking forward to the updates of Noah and Elena in the upcoming "flower" sisters romance.

Good read!

I enjoyed learning more about Noah and Elena. Noah's girlfriend of fourteen years decided she needed to leave to explore other options.. Elena has not dated seriously as she is the caretaker for her sick mom.. When she moves her and mom to New York to be closer to her brother, she meets Noah and their chemistry is undeniable. Through friendship secrets are shared and their journey to love begins. Just when things are going well, his old girlfriend comes back sniffing around. Must read to find out the outcome. The supporting characters will keeping you laughing as well.

Full circle

Reading this book brought it all full circle for me since I read about Nova and and Elijah last year, which gave a peak into the start of Elena and Noah’s friendship.

I enjoyed the circle of life that was reflected in this book from the death of the mother to the release of the father. Not to mention the sibling connection and friend circle.

This was a great read. Romance with hint a sexy. Great story.

Friends to lovers

This was a cute friends to lovers story. Noah and Elena started out as friends but the way they acted toward one another, it was a foregone conclusion that they would end up being more. I loved they way they loved on each other and how Noah was there for Elena in her time of need. I’ve heard that friends make the best lovers and these two showed that.

Glad you're back

The story was a nice delightful story about a couple afraid of being together for fear of damaging their relationship. I'm glad they decided differently. A good read.

Noah!

This couple was so sweet. They were like teenagers, in love for the first time. Timid, cautious, afraid to tell the other one how they feeling. Noah was a dream man! So patient with Elena. Together their love was beautiful to watch unfold. Enjoyed it. 👍👍

Love

This book was full of love. Love from a parent. Love for a parent. Love of a sibling. Love of friends. Romantic love. That I'll do anything for you love. Also, lost love. I shed a tear, I cheered, and I laughed out loud - all makings of a good book.

Friendly Life Mates

Noah and Elena were instantly drawn to know another and built a strong friendship. Both were carrying great responsibilities. Great story of how allowing love to naturally develop can be fruitful in the long run.
