Arthur Nesky values control and order in his life. Imagine his frustration when he finds himself the focus of a stalker. After a close call, he visits a friend up north, hoping to get away from his pursuer and gain some perspective. Meeting a sexy man who lights up every nerve ending in Arthur’s body is the epitome of bad timing. Then he finds out who Kaiser is…and the secrets he holds…making him wonder if he’s jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire. Kaiser Roush is nearly three hundred years old, the alpha of his pod, and a successful businessman. Over the years, he’s learned the value of hard work, how to make harder choices, and what it takes to overcome the odds. When Kaiser meets Arthur Nesky, his mate, it comes as no surprise that there will be obstacles to overcome. Even if Kaiser can get Arthur to accept his nature, can he discover and remove the stalker threat as well?
Returning to World of Aquatica, its shifter family and especially Kaiser’s story, filled me with happiness. I adore this world the author has created focused on an aquarium and theme park in California where the majority of the animals are all marine shifters. I feel as if I’ve been waiting for their alpha’s tale for a long time. Kaiser has held my attention throughout each of the stories and finally seeing him get his happy ever after was well worth the wait.
Kaiser was everything I expected him to be: dominant, sexy, in charge, and in control. Arthur, however, was no pushover, and it was nice to see how well their personalities matched. Of course, when Fate chooses you as mates, I think you’re just about guaranteed the person who is perfect for you. Kaiser flubbing the paranormal reveal was humorous seeing as he should have been on top of this considering his position within the pod.

From the moment I started the first book in this series I couldn't wait to get to Keiser's book. The Shifter just had a certain presence to him. Even though I still belief this could have been one hell of an amazing ass kicking series with longer books and more detail I still loved it and am glad I read them all.
Kaiser does not disappoint and I must say I am glad we had a bit more interesting tentacle play. (Just for those who are weird like me and love weird stuff).
I loved Arthur and Keiser together I just needed more!!!!
While I enjoyed the story and liked the characters, the whole thing felt extremely rushed. I actually stopped at one point and had to remind myself yes only a few hours had gone by. Also, the tentacle thing grossed me out. I don’t normally tag this author’s books as erotica but this one I did just for that weirdness.
Can you say tentacles? Definitely heat to this one. My only complaint, and I'm not sure why it bothers me so much, is that tortoises would not be swimming in a saltwater aquarium, those would be sea turtles...
This series just gets better and better. I love the interconnected characters that we see from book to book. I really like the bond between the shifter and his human. It's a beautiful love story that we all should have.
Kaiser was a squid shifter, which is very unique (although, it wouldn't be my first choice of paranormal animal to cuddle with :)) and his mate was a human, Arthur, who had a dangerous stalker after him. I enjoy this Aquatica series since it's so different (and creative) from other types of shifters I usually read about. The writing was well done and the storyline was excellent with its touch of danger along with passion and tentacles. This was definitely a fun and entertaining read. :)
This is another fun addition to the Aquatica series. I admit I was a bit disappointed with this as I was really looking forward to Kaiser’s story. It’s a pretty short story with predictable story line and unfortunately Kaiser doesn’t come across as nearly as dominant as I was expecting.
If you’ve enjoyed others in this series you’ll enjoy this as well.
