I never imagined that I’d be adding Manager of Operations for Park Street Animal Shelter to my resume. Not until my firm closed up, my boss moved away, and I was asked, nearly begged to step in and help.
Once I found a decent allergy medication and adjusted to the smell that accompanied the shelter, I was oddly excited to start my new venture.
That is until I met our on-call Veterinarian.
Greyson Knox.

She’s not to set foot on this side of fucking town again, and if I find out you’ve helped her, befriended her, or invited her to a party, you’re blacklisted too. Check who cuts those big checks to Berkeley if you’re tempted to try me.”
^ So, a freshman in college gets up in front of rich kids and their billionaire parents and peers, and says the FMC is a whore and can’t go to Berkeley anymore… and no one is to dare be nice to her.
WTF kinda stupid ass shit is this? I read 30% of this book for that New Kids on the Block BS to be how the MMC betrayed the FMC? This is one of the most outlandish plots I’ve ever read. I actually read the entire page to my 6th grader, who laughed and told me that a kindergartner wouldn’t even say such stupidity on the playground.
Her daddy is rich, too. So, how the hell did his words “break her reputation” and leave her to be a paralegal and unable to go to some other f’ing college to become a lawyer? Stupid AF.
For shits and giggles, go with ^ that’s caused the FMC so much hurt, and they haven’t spoken in four years. Suddenly, he is in her workplace and inner dialogues that he wants a second chance cause he f’d up. So, what do you think the first thing such a man would say? Maybe, sorry, we had a misunderstanding, I was wrong, here’s what really happened, here’s why…. Something along those lines to CLEAR the air, right? No. Nothing. He’s just a smug nonchalant pissant making it look like he’s there to make her miserable.
Oh, and the MMC isn’t a veterinarian, but he’s doing solo surgeries on animals with a glorified former paralegal that’s filmed by a YouTube channel. I get books are fantasy, but there is no way in hell that an unlicensed vet is doing surgery, much less having it filmed.
It’s like this author took one of everything in the fridge going rancid, tossed it at the fan, and waited to play connect the dots with the putrid splatters.

I always love reading books in this series the Cocky Hero Club and this author has written a great book that is a fabulous addition to the collection.
This story is a real second chance romance story that is a really beautiful read.
This is Greyson and Kelly's story and one you must see. Kelly gets asked to step up and she is not at all happy to see who she will be working along side her. She'd avoided him for so long after what had happened and now right here is the man himself.
Greyson is the on call vet and is extremely hot too. A while back Grey had hurt her and he knows it too and one way or another he knows that he must win her back and do whatever it takes for this beautiful amazing woman. But after he nearly destroyed her is there any going back and repairing what he has done?
I love this authors style of writing and how she has written her characters they just pull you in, they have some hot chemistry and the banter is awesome too. This story flows throughout and once you have started it, its so hard to put down. I really enjoyed reading this story and I loved the characters and how the author brought them to life. Awesome addition to this series.

Well, 2020 is fast coming to an end and I am loving my reading experience lately! Ashley is a new author to me, as have most of the Cocky Hero Universe authors been, and she has left an impression. This was a second chance to get it right with a dash of redemption that read easy and quickly. It wasn’t heavy in the least; it was more like sunshine and happiness. The story reads incredibly adult and I loved it. Right about now you guys are probably thinking I’ve lost my last marble but seriously, Greyson messed and stepped up, and even tho Kat had every reason to draaaaaaag his redemption out, she didn’t. There were bumps, sure, but they had great camaraderie and sparky chemistry and it was just a joy to read about them!
I don’t know what the future holds for my reader heart and this author, but I’m looking forward to finding out :)

Ashley has done Vi and Penelope and their Cocky Hero Club proud with Vicious Vet.

4.5 star Review Vicious Vet (Cocky Hero Club) by Ashley Munoz
One of the things I have loved the most about this series of books is that I have found so many new authors . I am surprised I have not come across Ashley Munoz before. This was Greyson (Grey) and Kelly’s (Kat) second chance at love story and I was hooked on this entertaining story.
The chemistry between them was intense and the banter between them witty. There was angst, steam and appearances by some familiar characters which added to my enjoyment of the story.
Grey almost destroyed Kat, both professionally and personally and when he realizes what he has done he is determined to make amends. Will Kat forgive him and give him a second chance?
I loved the pigs, ducks, dogs and an appearance by my favourite goat Pixie and the secondary characters, they all added an additional layer of fun to the story. Grey's grand gesture in trying to win Kat back had me tearing up and swooning at the same time.

Holy cow, duck, pig...whatever animal ya wanna go with...this book was so dang amazing and I need to shout it from the rooftops!
Ok, where do I start??
First, let’s talk about Greyson...Greyson was the epitome of all that I love in a cocky, arrogant alpha. He knew what he wanted and had no problems going for it. Even when things weren’t easy he didn’t back down and that definitely earned him points in my book. Now Kelly, she grabbed onto my heartstrings because even when life dealt her blow after blow she kept her head up and kept putting one foot in front of the other and finding her place in the world.
The chemistry between Greyson and Kelly was undeniably H O T! Even when they were going head to head I was sure my kindle was going to go up in flames. And don’t even get me started on the angst. I’m going to start dubbing Ashley the queen of angst. From the very beginning I was just waiting for things to hit the fan, I wasn’t sure what was gonna happen but I could feel it with every page I turned. I couldn’t get enough of this book, these characters, just everything. I actually found myself putting off reading so I could make it last a little longer but in the end I just HAD to know what was going to happen and I was not disappointed. By far my favorite cocky hero to date!

Ashley Munoz never ceases to amaze me with her words. One thing that is guaranteed is angst and Vicious Vet has all the angst!
But there is more... Ashley brought the HEAT!!! Oh my word. You will laugh, cry, your stomach will be in knots and then eventually you will get the HEA.

Vicious Vet was everything I have been looking for in a book this year! I would say is my favorite read of 2020!
Greyson and Kelly are the perfect couple! I loveeed the plot and every single one of their interactions!

Ashley Munoz what have you done to me??? I absolutely LOVED Vicious Vet!! Grayson certainly had an uphill battle with Kelly who he wanted another chance with even though he had broken her heart a few years earlier. Kelly was not happy to see that she'd be working with Grayson at the shelter, her being the director, and him being the volunteer vet. Will Kelly give into the feelings that have never left where Grayson is concerned? Will she believe that he still has the same feelings for her, or has too much hurt happened to overcome? You'll just have to read this awesome book to find out!!

Wow! Vicious Vet was everything, and I mean everything, you want in a steamy love story and more. Kelly and Greyson's story hit all the marks for me and then some. Their chemistry was off the charts! And of course, Ashley never disappoints when it comes to her talent for writing.

Kelly (Kat) and Greyson's story is filled with soo many emotions! The readers gonna go through heartbreak, belly laugh's, tears and being pan throwing angry.
This was the first story I've read from Munoz and I loved it. She had just the right balance to her writing that kept me interested and invested in the story.

Kat and Greyson's story in this Cocky Hero Club world is a fantastic reading experience. It's filled with banter, angst, sizzling heat, and so much more. The cameo appearances were amazing and I love all the animals that were included.

Potential in the dialogue and characters but uhm, I'd be hard-core lying if I said I was rooting for Grey and Kelly.
Grey dumped Kelly pretty brutally, hence the whole vicious crap. He allegedly realized pretty quick his dad lied about Kelly cheating on him- but did nothing. Got her "blackballed" and then did nothing... for 4 years. And even as he's trying to "win her back" it doesn't include them talking(or apologizing). So no shit there's going to be "miscommunication" and literally the same bullshit drama later. Pffflt. Bring on the lame ass grand gesture and end it.
AND OH SWEET FUCK, THE STUPID FLASHBACKS. So dumb. SO DUMB. Just staaaaaahhhhppppp omg. There might have only been a couple, and yes they were short, but they (like so many flashbacks) were pointless space occupying garbage. Nothing gained, some interest lost. UUUUGGGHHH
Anyway. Bottom line, they magically declare their forever love, not actually talk, break up, rinse and repeat. Ooooh so special.
PS because I can't let this go. This girl who was humiliated, blackballed in her career and social circle is somehow swept off her feet/excited by a grand gesture that involves blasting ALL their business on the internet? Really? REALLY?!
Also also the whole she asks him to put on a condom, he refuses/arouses her more saying "do you really want me to put a condom on" until she says no... kinda gross. Not romantic. Not a sign of intimacy. Just an all around irresponsible dickhead message.

This was a really good second chance romance. You could really feel the chemistry and connection between Greyson and Kelly. It did take a while before we found out what drove these two apart four years ago. Kelly was a bit back and forth for me. She would stand so tough and then a couple of lines of internal dialogue later, she was practically falling at his feet. I wish she had stayed stronger when dealing with Greyson until he finally told her all the truths she needed to know.
I also wish we had seen Greyson actually confront his father face to face. A lot of the issues and conflicts were solved very quickly at the end.
Overall a good romance story filled with redemption and second chances.

4 1/2 Star Read Ashley is an accident waiting to happen and always doing things like spilling her coffee. Grayson is the new vet at the animal rescue group of which Ashley is a director. Things were awkward at times due to the fact they were a couple when they were younger and Ashley got heartbroken, embarrassed in front of all her peers, and run out of town due to Grayson's father's actions. Ashley still has feelings for Grayson but keeps him at a distance not wanting to get hurt again. Grayson tries to right the wrongs of the past and rekindle his romance with Ashley. Will Grayson get his wish or will his past come back to hurt them.
I received an arc for an honest review for NNBB. I loved this read by Ashley which is another great read from the Cocky Hero Club. If you love a sweet second chance romance with some angst, drama, and laughs you will love this one.

This was my first read in the Cocky Hero Club Series.
I love Ashley's writing and knew I wouldn't be let down.
I wasn't........ although a little different to what I usually read with her books.
Im used to a slow burn hot reading. I got Hot and steamy and omg mindblowing words from her. lol
2nd chance at romance, even after Greyson Knox had totally ruined and broke Kelly's heart and her Career.
I loved the anagram that Greyson calls Kelly "Kat", I also loved how he realised he had caused her unwarranted harm in her Career and hurt and bad tasting memories of him.
But he wants to write the wrong and prove to her that he was indeed a douche and tries to win her back.
With his "grand gestures".
Throw in ducks dogs pigs(omg the pig) a film crew and the staff of the Veterinarian Clinic they both work and we have laughs and antics and a man who tries his hardest to win back the woman he let down.
Ashley you totally stepped it up in this book and it was an awesome surprise.

I loved that Pixy got a mention in this book.
This book has a dog, pig, duck, chemistry, banter, laughter, drama and love.

Vicious Vet is a second chance romance intertwined in the Cocky Hero World. Their story is full of drama, angst, passion and will have you enchanted right from the start. Greyson and Kelly have a love hate relationship after he broke her heart. Greyson will need to fight hard to show Kelly that what they could have will be worth a second chance. Their story is emotional, witty and full of heart. Another great addition to this series.

Another wonder addition to the world of cocky hero’s and another new author that I need to follow. This is the first book I have read by Ashley Munoz but it certainly won’t be the last because I loved her characters and her style of writing.
This is Grey and Kat’s second chance and their journey is one you will all want to read. This couple have a history that’s not pleasant, in fact Grey destroyed Kat, professionally and romantically but now he wants to make amends. So will Kat give him a chance when he turns up as the Vet at the shelter she runs and yes you guessed it this is where we find out what Pixie is up to.....
A perfect addition to the wonderful world of hero’s and this book ticked all my boxes, I laughed at the witty banter, I swooned and sighed at the sizzling chemistry and I found myself hoping Kat would forgive. I will certainly checking out other works by this very talented author.
This is Grey and Kat’s second chance and their journey is one you will all want to read. This couple have a history that’s not pleasant, in fact Grey destroyed Kat, professionally and romantically but now he wants to make amends. So will Kat give him a chance when he turns up as the Vet at the shelter she runs and yes you guessed it this is where we find out what Pixie is up to.....

This book is fan-fucking-tastic!!! Very beautiful second chance romance. What tore them apart was devastating and gut-wrenching! It had my stomach twisting. Grayson's efforts to win her back after his HUGE mistake is nothing short of SWOON-TATSIC!!! His "grand gesture" is so grand that it was the tear-inducing kind of beautiful! And the sexual tension was ON POINT! I am a huge fan of when couple fool around but for some reason or another don't go all the way..... that makes it so much more explosive when they finally get it ALL in! (at least for me it does).... that anticipation gets me every time. I am a huge fan of Ashley Munoz but she outdid herself with this one in my opinion and I can not WAIT to see what she has for us next!

This is a new author for me but I loved this book so much. It stars Kelly who our hero also calls her Kat. The hero is Grayson and he is our vicious Vet. This is a second chance romance and Grayson did some awful things to K 4 years before.
Now he is volunteering as a Vet at the animal shelter K runs and trying to get her to give him a second chance. I LOVE that Kelly makes him work hard for it. I wish she had been more forceful about getting answers about the past right away and I wish Grayson had been more honest about the past and present and the evil Tess and his father. But aside from that I loved this story so much.
This is a fun and light read book and I loved the energy that Grayson and K share and the angyst you can really feel for this couple. I loved the side characters like K's sister Selah and Grayson's best friend and the employees at the shelter. "

This story is a perfect addition to this amazing series and is Greyson and Kelly’s journey. These two have a history and when Greyson destroyed Kelly a few years previously, she has managed to keep her head down and avoid him. When Kelly is employed as the Operations Manger for an animal shelter, she never dreamt that the vet on call would be Greyson. The chemistry between these two is still off the charts but he knows that he is going to have his work cut out for him to get her attention, but can Greys redeem himself and convince Kat to give him a 2nd chance? This is a beautifully written story which this talented author has done a fantastic job in weaving, and is filled with witty banter, emotions, angst, entertaining, and is a humorous and steamy poignant love story. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend for all.

I enjoyed this romance. Kat & Greyson are a couple that I felt belonged together, even after the mess of their past. I loved that the author made me so intrigued with their story that I had a hard time putting down the book. Their banter and interactions were witty and entertaining.
This is my first time reading Ashley Munoz, but it won't be the last. I recommend this read - it's a pretty good addition to the Cocky Hero Club series.

I have to say I absolutely ADORED this story. It was such a brilliant second chance romance where the guy was busting tail to win his girl back! The history between Kelly and Greyson is utterly heartbreaking with how things ended. I kinda wanted to junk punch Greyson for that one when you find out all the backstory between these two. My heart ached for Kelly as she fought tooth and nail for self preservation but love ultimately wins. Their chemistry is utterly sizzling in this book even if Kelly fights it. There is priceless wit and banter plus explosive moments. I have to say, I really enjoyed this one because it was light but emotional at the same time. I loved this addition to the Cockyverse!

Another super read from Ms Munoz... she writes angst brilliantly... I had a knot of pain sitting in my chest for Kelly and every heartbreaking thing she has endured at the hand of Greyson.
This is a beautiful second chance romance with some well placed humour, chemistry for days and just the right balance of heat!!
I really warmed to both characters... even though I didn’t appreciate Greyson’s behaviour in their past. The couple of flash backs to their former relationship were just right and enhanced their history perfectly.
A worthy addition to the cocky heroes series....

This book is so emotional for me and I am quite surprised by it. It is also the first book of the author I read and I am impressed with her brilliant idea to plot this story. Greyson is so determined to have the second chance with Kelly and I appreciates that even if their chemistry is off the charts, it is a slow burn because he was an as*** to hurt Kelly in the past and it caused Kelly a lot more than her heartbreak. Anyway, I feel off when I read their love scenes so I decide to give it 4.5 stars.

What a great addition to the Cocky Hero World! This book has all the Angst, all the Heat, and all the Heart! Ashley really outdid herself with this book. I'm so glad she stepped outside of her comfort zone, because this book is EVERYTHING. I love a second chance romance, and Ashley has done an amazing job. Kelly and Grayson 's story is one of my favorites of 2020, you must read this book!!!

Ashley Munoz blew me away with this book. It is an amazing addition to the Cocky Hero Collection! It has everything I love in books. It’s full of angst, laugh out loud moments, steamy hot scenes, some drama, witty banter and much more! I love a second chance at love book and his book delivered. I loved all of Greyson’s antics to spend time with Kelly to win her heart back and not to mention all of the wonderful animals that were included. This book was so amazing that I devoured it in one sitting. I highly recommend it!
