Once upon a time, there was a young woman whose prince hadn't yet found her.
Hannah has been waiting a long time for the love of her life to appear. In fact, she's been waiting for so long that she's twenty-five now, and she's still a virgin. She hasn't given up on the love of her life, but right now she just wants to have sex. If her prince refuses to show up, she'll turn to a good friend to help her out with her virginity.
Bruce is one of her favorite people in the world, but she's never considered him a potential prince because he prefers casual sex and refuses to let his heart be touched. But he's good in bed and she trusts him completely, and that's what she needs right now. A romantic weekend at a grand wedding in the mountains is the perfect opportunity for her first time. She just needs to be brave enough to ask him.
Untouched is the second novella in the One Fairy Tale Wedding series, in which three friends make a pact to get what they really want during one wedding weekend.
Noelle handwrote her first romance novel in a spiral-bound notebook when she was twelve, and she hasn't stopped writing since. She has lived in eight different states and currently resides in Virginia, where she teaches English, reads any book she can get her hands on, and offers tribute to a very spoiled cocker spaniel.
She loves travel, art, history, and ice cream. After spending far too many years of her life in graduate school, she has decided to reorient her priorities and focus on writing contemporary romances.
Untouched was a super cute friends to lovers romance! Even though it was a short novella (76 pages), it really packed a punch! I had a minor problem with but other than that, it was pretty sweet!
I really enjoyed this story about best friends that become lovers. The fact that the heroine was a 25 yr old virgin was one of my favorite things. I love the virgin trope. I also loved that she was able to find the confidence to let Bruce know exactly what she wanted.
Bruce was a hero with a lot of experience but when the opportunity to be with Hannah presents itself, it was easy to see through his reactions that this was more than just another one night stand. I loved the change we see in him after things open up between them. There is also an awesome scene of possessive/jealousy that had me checking those boxes on my favorite type of hero list.
The comparison of Hannah’s story to that of Sleeping Beauty was sweet but when Bruce inserted himself into the tale, I absolutely swooned. Gotta love a hero that will fight his way through a wall of thorns.
Great read! I enjoyed it a lot. I got emotional in the middle when I felt h's heartache deeply. I enjoyed the happy ending, too, just wish there's an epilogue.
Untouched is the second in a trilogy of novellas featuring three female friends who each have a plan to do something bold while at an acquaintance's wedding. Hannah is determined to lose her virginity, and who better to help her with her task than her longtime friend Bruce who is her date for the wedding. He's always got a different female companion on his arm, and definitely isn't into commitment. He's perfect for the task at hand but she'll have to convince him that it's a sex only fling and they can still go back to being friends after. Of course, the reality turns out to be a little different when she realizes that her feelings for him are complicated, especially when the sex is even better than she'd hoped. Hannah and Bruce have to come to terms with how their relationship has changed once they sleep together and figure out if they can really go back to being just friends. It's a sweet and sexy friends to lovers themed romance.
Note: a copy of this story was provided by the author for review.
This was shockingly bad, I can’t believe it’s from the same author who gave us Second Best. The H (Bruce lol) was just a bland rice cake with a beard, and our pure maiden h was so obsessed with getting deflowered (I swear, that’s the word they used), she had zero personality and their friendship/romance was unconvincing. Yawn.
I mean, I liked it. Don't get me wrong! I usually like any Noelle Adams book. But somehow Hannah and Bruce just didn't click for me like Charlie and Simon.
It was still a sweet, happily-ever-after story though, and I'm glad I read it (:
I loved this novella. It’s so cute how the three books intertwine but can also stand alone very well. I like how direct Hannah is. She doesn’t beat around the bush. She goes for what she wants and for the most part does communicate her feelings, which is a nice change. Many books have the main conflict is lack of communication. This was more direct.
The story was sweet but I couldn't connect with them. I din't felt their emotions and I think this is because of the writing. Sometimes the sentences felt disconnected.
I have really loved this series. Each friend is beautiful, and on a mission. Each friend is taking the plunge this wedding weekend.
Unlike the first one that had a bit more push amd pull between the couple. This book had a different look.
Hannah- a women determined to have her match and also a card holding virgin. She knows what she wants and is determined to find it. She's finally decided that she wants Bruce to help her out. Unknowingly setting the ball rolling for her to really look at her feelings towards him.
Bruce is along for the right- it seems this is cramping his style unlil you see the small moments that share a secret- he's not 100% unaffected by his friend.
This couple goes through the emotions hard core- jeolousy, one night stand'ish, rejection, friendship, and something more- love.
It's not until this happen that the sparks fly and so does the heart.
I enjoyed that these two werent as stubborn as the previous pair, and that they could quickly be honest.
Hannah is looking for a man. Not just any man. A man who is willing to take her virginity. Yes, at age 25, she is still a virgin. Her neighbor, Bruce, is her best friend. She never even considers him because he has a different woman all the time. But, when she is a bridesmaid in her friends wedding, she needs a date, so she asks Bruce. He agrees and with that thought, she wants him to be her first time. She figures that since they will be away for the weekend, it is the perfect opportunity. As the weekend is progressing, she lays it out there for him and he is completely stunned. However, he is also excited (even though he doesn't come out an admit that). Once the first time happens, they start to realize how good it is together. It's a cute story of friends to lovers. It is witty and sexy. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review, all opinions expressed therein are my own.
This is the fifth Noelle Adams novella that I've read. I've been reading these in between other books to prevent myself from going into a reading slump, so I expect lighthearted and fun goodness from these reads. However, these novellas seem to be getting more and more angsty the more I read. The angst in this one started at 39%.
I found the characters annoying. Bruce especially kept talking in circles and was not straightforward about anything. It got so frustrating. I liked that consent was explicit and there was a lot of communication in the steamy scene, but I couldn't feel the chemistry between Hannah and Bruce because they didn't talk about anything else that was meaningful. I get that this is a romance novella but a person has many aspects that make up who he/she/they are and I wanted more from the characters in this story. I wanted more plot; the setting/plot in this felt like it was just going through the motions.
Noelle Adams is the author of this lovely series about 3 friends that made a pact of achieving some goals in a wedding weekend. Of course the goals are related to romance. The best part is that the stories are all connected and related to fairy tales.
In this book Hannah, one of the bridesmaid, is a 25 year-old virgin who wants to loose the virginity to her best friend Bruce. She convinces him to go to the wedding with her and their story as always is so sweet and sexy.
Noelle is known for creating characters that are real and always have too much feelings. Bruce is the ultimate hero, he is strong but we can see as he is so in love with Hannah and she does not realize it.
Negative things about the book: First, the hero is introduced as he comes to visit the heroine after ‘drinks and sex’ with another woman. Yuck. Second, the moment when the heroine made a spectacle of herself in front of the hero because she was upset that he just wanted to be friends. She fell over nothing and sat on the ground crying and wet. Ugh. Why was that scene necessary? Third, even after the reveal at the end I couldn’t believe that the hero had been in love with the heroine for a while, because it was too ingrained that he was a huge slag. The epilogue helped a tiny bit, but it was set only four months later.
The book was written well, it just wasn’t to my taste.

**My thanks to the author for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**
This book is very loosely based on Sleeping Beauty, but again it is the girl that first goes for what she wants.
Hannah is still a virgin at the age of 25, and has decided that she wants one of her friends Bruce to do the deed at the wedding weekend, unbeknownst to him).
Bruce has always wanted Hannah, but since she has always wanted to be only friends, he has never made a play for her. It is finally at this wedding weekend that they finally start talking to each other and get what they both want.
A great fast read perfect for sitting in front of the fire on a cold and wet afternoon.
I am loving this series and have been so excited for Hannah and Bruce's story! I love a good friends to lovers story, and this one was just what I was looking for. This is a fun little series that all takes place during the same time frame. I adored the friendship between Hannah and Bruce, and it was nice watching it turn into more. Hannah is a strong heroine who still has vulnerabilities and a bit of uncertainty. Bruce really was great with her. I wouldn't have complained if there was just a little more of their friendship in the book, but it really was great overall. The epilogue was just perfection. Eagerly awaiting book 3!
H has fell in love with h since they met 2 years ago. He was a manwhore and h was a 25 y/o virgin. H was anti romantic since his father was an unfaithful husband. She asked him to be her date to her high school friend’s wedding. They share a room since she planned to lose her cherry to him. She was upset when she saw H talking to a gorgeous girl. That night they fucked and then the awkward moment. He said they should continue being friends but became a caveman when she flirted with her other high school friend. The next day, they said their ILU’s. 4 months later, H proposed to her at the same hotel.

If you read the first book or if you didn't this book is fine by itself. Hannah is friends with Charlie and Madison. Out of all 3 ladies, she is the only one who is a bridesmaid in Polly's wedding and she's looking to lose her virginity. At 25, Hannah wanted to wait for Mr. Right but he didn't seem to be arriving any time soon. Hannah knows Bruce, her best guy friend, is good with the ladies. Hannah wants to lose her virginity to Bruce during the wedding weekend. Will Bruce help Hannah accomplish her goals or will he turn her down and cause her to turn to another man?
4.5 Stars. This was a very sweet novella. I think I even likes it a little better than the first book in this series. Hannah is still a virgin and is wanting to change that. So she comes up with a plan to get her friend Bruce to help her with that. Now she just has to see if he will go for it, and to make sure if it does that it doesn’t change their friendship. This truly was a sweet and romantic book. It made me smile and laugh and even made me blush a little. A great friends to lovers tale, I would highly recommend!
I didn't really care for this one. Normally I love this author's work but this one was different. It was a short, quick read about Hannah and Bruce. They were best friends attending a wedding together because Hannah didn't have a date and didn't want to go alone. Truth was, she loved Bruce, had for a long time but never told him. She was also a virgin and decided she wanted Bruce to deflower her. So he does, they confess their love (yes, Bruce loved her too) and everyone lives happily ever after.
I found this book discounted on Amazon.ca; this is my honest review. -Beautiful friends to lovers between Bruce and Hannah. -I loved this story better than the first one. Deeper. -Funny moments when one, then the other, thinks the other one is flirting. -Not too much drama. Good communication. -Editing needs another pass. Nothing serious except this one "She wanted to really talk to Hannah and Madison" s/b Charlie and Madison as this is Hannah's story.
I think I would have liked this a lot more had Bruce's emotional journey been discussed. The reader isn't privy to how his feelings for Hannah developed and got so deep. So when he drops the L word I debated its validity based on his feelings for love. Had his journey been illustrated, I think it would have been more believable.
Hannah’s story is the second of the wedding pact. Tired of waiting for her prince to come along, and of being a virgin, she decides to take matters into her own hands. She decides that the man for the job is her best friend, Bruce, and she talks him into being her pretend boyfriend at the wedding. A short but very enjoyable read.
Hannah is a 25yr old virgin who, while they are at a wedding, asks her best friend Bruce to have sex with her. Bruce seems horrified at first as he only ever has one night stands. When these two come together they are perfect together. This is a great series and I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
I loved this story, and it made me want to go back and re-read Book 1 too.
The blurb actually makes it seem that it was only about having sex (for the first time), but there was so much more to the story: seeing the emotions, watching them realize their love for each other, and how the hero admits his love is awesome too!
