A great bio of the iconic legend by the director of Enter the Dragon, Robert Clouse. Clouse manages to paint his own picture of Bruce Lee with emphasis on his film career. This is where Clouse shines because he was a director. However, Linda Lee wrote the definitive bio of her late husband that is a better interpretation, and that is the book that Bruce Lee fans need to seek out. The Clouse biography is entertaining with humorous anecdotes sprinkled throughout. On the downside, Clouse is not a great writer. His sentences are absurdly simple and what one would expect of the writing of a twelve year old. Clouse needed a better editor and proofreader because there are lots of grammatical errors and he often repeats what he has previously wrote. If you can overlook that, the book is entertaining depsite its flaws.
