I love accessible science! This book does a great job of explaining light science for a young audience and this will be a great book for a teacher to share at the beginning of a science unit. I don't love the frame story with the red kangaroo because it seems forced, like it is trying too hard to be a fun book that kids would pick up on their own, when really it is more a great book for teachers to use. Will definitely add to my collection and recommend to primary teachers.
