Good grief, this book was terrible! Daughter didn't seem to mind of course, but awful writing, zero background or story building, and atrocious understanding of horsemanship, horse safety, or anything remotely horse-oriented.

Perfect for my developing reader! Also, artistically, it was unique & pretty to have music notes overlaying some of the hills.

Pinkalicious visits a horse ranch, where everyone acts like they are in a PG episode of Yellowstone. "Around these parts we do things like this..." I found the pink-world-building particularly befuddling and irksome in this one; why are there pink pine trees? Why is there a pink pony? Pinkadorable? Really? Why? My daughter continues to be smitten with the series. Onward.
