Cold Hearted Bastard
Five Things. That’s the title of the video I’m watching. Each day, a social media coordinator picks a fireman from the Hightower Hills Fire Rescue Station 99 to interview, and she asks him ‘five things’ about himself that the community may not know. I keep rewinding back to the man of my desire—Corbin Carmack.
If you ask me five things about myself that people may not know, it would go a little something like this:
1. I love a man with brown eyes.
2. I’ve never wanted a stranger as much as I do him.
3. I’m going to extremes that could get me tossed in jail just to steal glimpses of him.
4. For the last two months I’ve blown off friends, family, and everything in between just to stay up late at night and watch this video as I pleasure myself to sleep.
5. I set my house on fire to meet him.
In my defense, I never meant for there to be so much smoke. And I never meant to pass out before my firefighter hero could save me.
But, looks can be deceiving, and this firefighter is nothing like he portrays on social media. In fact, he’s much worse. He’s a cold-hearted bastard and I hope I never have to see him again.
But I do.
Because now he seems to appear everywhere I go. And I can’t get enough.

Firstly, I have been anticipating CHB for months!!! Olivia is one crazy, quirky, stalker chic and made me laugh so much.
Corbin.....holy smokes. ( 🔥I would climb him like a ladder. I would let him use my hydrant. I would love to watch him hold his big hose.🔥) With his smoking body, his dirty words and his scorching hot personality this book has it all.
Ladies, you better gets some fire retardant because this book will set you on fire!! And as usual with a Logan book, the unexpected!

Sound the alarm, this book is on FIRE! Who would of known that an obsession with a reality TV star could be so much fun? Olivia’s personality is the perfect blend of spunk and character. Corbin is a man that just wants to be there for others and do whatever is necessary to help them. From the beginning I was hooked on their story and couldn’t put my kindle down, the mysteriousness with Corbin had me intrigued for quite sometime and when he reveals all I was completely shocked. Out of all the scenarios in my head I wasn’t expecting that one. This is a lighthearted, romantic comedy with a little bit of drama mixed in too. Highly recommend that you bump this book to the top of your TBR list.

1. Cold Hearted Bastard is a five alarm fire full of epic dirty talk, chemistry that moves from sizzling to sweltering HOT, and epic scenes of hilarity only Logan could invent. Yes, Planet Bagina is "galactic" lol
2. The lovers! OMG Corbin is Flockhot, and a brickhouse of manliness with a fire hose and he knows how to use it. Olivia is either batsh*t crazy or crazy like a fox. Either way, I love her. She's a loving, caretaking sweetheart with a fine a$$, well on her way to earning her very own God-tier Stalker badge.
3. I had to fan myself with my kindle, because Olivia and Corbin pack all the racy, indecent feels you could want in a sexy as sin romcom. *Whispers* All the throat-clenching emotion is there too. Corbin has secrets, and they may just destroy any chance Olivia has of seeing her stalker fantasies become reality.* Not really, the fantasies become reality and they are sooo good.
4. READ IMMEDIATELY. Quit reading my review and one click CHB.
5. Logan is not a new author to me, but he has BLOWN MY MIND with these fantastic characters. This story is ridiculously addicting as are Corbin and Olivia. I could go on, but you should be clicking this book already.

Wow, wow, wow! Something I love about Logan’s books is I never know what to expect but I know without a doubt it will blow me away. So here I am again, in awe and blow away. That is a Logan Chance story every time.
I was so excited to get my hands on this book and boy did it not disappoint. Right from the beginning Olivia had me hooked. She is crazy, a sassy spitfire and just plain hilarious. She has so much heart though...I wish I had her as a BFF lol! Then Corbin, he is just everything you would want in a sexy, arrogant fireman! Cocky, swoony.... just smokin! (Lol, get it)
This story is full of hotness, twists and so many laugh out loud moments. Sometimes I found myself relating to things which pulled me in more! This is one Logan Chance story you won’t want to miss. 5 burning stars!

Oh my god Logan did it again.
holy moly this is Logan's best yet. I was hooked from the very first page.
Just when I think there's no way Logan can top what he's previous written.
Wrong he more than topped this.
Its sizzling hot and pantie melting.
CHB was a fantastic read I finished the book within a few hours. Its beautifully written.
Logan will have you laughing out load.
Corbin is hot as sin and will have you hosing yourself down with his dirty mouth.
Corbin is one sexy as hell firefighter.
Olivia is one spitfire kindergarten teacher.
How they met was epic.
There are a few twists and turns.

Holy Hot Fireman!!
Logan has done it again!! The story of Corbin and Olivia is a 5 alarm fire! The chemistry of these two heats up the pages and their banter had me laughing. I love how Logan can bring the heat that is scorching and interject light-hearted moments that make you swoon. I was anxiously awaiting reading this book and like always Logan didn't disappoint with a writing style that has become uniquely all his own. Olivia and Corbin are my new favorite couple!

Cold Hearted Bastard by Logan (Logan Chance) is a laugh out loud, sexy, rom com. Logan sure does know how to write one! He definitely improves with each one he writes. “CHB” grabs you from the beginning......with its quick-witted banter, scorching scenes and twists and turns.
Let me tell you about Olivia Poppins (aka Mary Poppins ). This chick had me in stitches, from beginning to end I was laughing my ass off! She’s a caring, loving, sassy kindergarten teacher by day.....by night she let’s loose. Olivia goes to great lengths to meet a sexy firefighter. One that she has had her eyes on for quite some time. Can you say “stalker”! How far would you go to meet a man you’ve been crushing on? Would you set your house on fire?
Corbin Carmack is one HOT, sexy firefighter. He’s a true hero in his hometown. All the woman lust after him, the men all want to be him. Under all that muscle is a genuine loving man. Corbin harbors a secret that he doesn’t want the public to find out. He’s coming to realize that doing a reality tv show was a big mistake. Corbin wants his private life back. But when Olivia shows up in his life everything changes. Sparks fly through the roof between them.

We have been waiting for CHB seems for ever, well it was worth the wait. The alarm bells ring and Corbin is off to the next fire with his perfect toned, tattooed, sexy body and a "secret"
Logan is really good with his mystery's and secrets that he writes into his books, and this one has a real sadness that will pull on your heartstrings. He has this one stalker Olivia and she has his "fire hose" out in more ways than one. With all the usual twists and turns we have come to enjoy with Logan's books this has another hot and juicy 5 star

OMGee, the premise for this book is just so incredibly wrong!!
And clever, and fresh and unique, and completely captivating! Kindergarten teacher, Olivia Poppins, has a crush on hunky firefighter, Corbin Carmack, and she goes to great lengths to stalk him, er, get his attention, even setting her kitchen on fire! That's one heck of a meet cute. It's not until he's tweezing glass splinters from a delicate area of her anatomy after her latest mishap requiring first responders that Olivia realizes she may have finally gotten his attention. Except the spell is quickly shattered for Olivia because Corbin acts like a pretty big jerk underneath all that that hot hero façade.
Gah! Chance keeps getting better with every book he writes, and this one is absolutely his best yet! It’s one of those reads that makes you laugh until it hurts but fills your heart so full it overflows, and all at the same time. I adore Olivia, sweet and strong and quirky, who tends to trip and stumble through life (some of us can relate, right?), and her students kept me in stitches with questions about things like, “Why do boys have a Venus?”
Corbin is equally charming and intriguing, with layers for days that Chance takes his own sweet time revealing to the reader. There was one part when I GASPED, then backed up, re-read and wanted to cry! This is after I laughed my butt off for the majority of it! This isn’t just a normal RomCom...no this was a 5 ALARM FIRE ROMCOM🔥
I absolutely loved Olivia and her crazy shenanigans. And Corbin. Corbin. Corbin. YES YES YES! The biggest heart, the dirtiest mouth and a hero...literally!
I am 10000000% obsessed with Logan’s work and now I’m in the Corbin and Olivia Fan Club, I may even be the president!

Olivia is a spunky, charismatic, slightly stalkerish who falls for a TV reality star.
Corbin is a hunky firefighter who as happens to be a TV reality star who like to keep certain parts of his personal life out of the limelight of fame.
When the two meet they have an instant chemistry. But Corbin as feels as if he doesn't deserved long term happiness.
But when they mystery of the show and Corbin come to light will it all go up in flames and leave nothing but ashes and destruction? Or will it be like a phoenix rising from the ashes to start anew?
Don't miss out on CHB, this book is definitely a great rom-com mixed with some drama and mystery. Logan has created the perfect book boyfriend and girlfriend for that matter.

Olivia is a woman obsessed. To the point of
Oh my God, I sooo LOVE Cold Hearted Bastard!! Olivia is a crazy, sassy woman who is more than Corbin's equal, she's perfect for him. Sexy, sweet, funny and crazy, I'd read this story all over again, more than once. When Logan Chance writes as Logan, he opens up a new layer to his writing, and I for one, am in love with this addition to his already excellent writing. Cannot wait for more!

I remember reading Logan Chance's first book and thinking that the more he wrote the better he would become...and boy has he proven that statement to be true. Each time I read one of his books I see where he has grown as an author, as a writer of words that propel you into the story that he has working through his mind. How he captures you attention and your heart with characters that you cannot help but like, and many times fall in love with. This book, the story and the characters are no different, except that the story is different from the rest as are the characters. Luckily this book is about a firefighter because the way Corbin and Olivia ignite the pages, someone needs to be able to put out this fire!.
It starts with a crush from a distance that turns into a crazy lady obsession (well kinda), that turns into stalking and finally a little kitchen fire that brings the two of them face to face. Her and her obsession and he and just some lady that he rescued! Yea, she was hoping for mouth to mouth with the heavenly hero, but what she got was putrid breath from the EMT. Not was she was planning on, but then what could she have possibly hoped would have happened? Corbin would ride off with her on his white steed???
Oh, and the story gets so much better and the giggles come quite often, until you get to one point that makes you pause and wrinkle your brow because...WTH??? Oh no...I'm not spoiling it for you because to do that would mean spilling secrets and those will come to light all by themselves as you read their story!

Olivia is just slightly off kilter. She's a nice, sweet kindergarten teacher by day, and the rest of the time? She finds herself stalking a firefighter named Corbin.
She's so into him, she starts a fire and burns down her kitchen.
She knows she's gone too far, but she wants his attention. And she managed to get it. In the most hilarious way.
Caleb loves being a firefighter. It's his calling. Even if it has brought tragedy into his life. And reality tv.
The pesky cameras are a huge PITA for both Olivia & Corbin. But those cameras also help give a reason for Olivia to see Corbin regularly.
Olivia is a fantastic mix of wit, beauty, crazy, and cute. Corbin is mix of hot, funny, loyal, brave, and alpha. Together they are combustible.
They both have their secrets. They have a hilarious, bumpy, touching journey to their HEA.

Seriously?! It's like every book by Logan gets better and better. I cannot put into words how much I love these characters!! I honestly don't know who I love more, Corbin or Olivia?! I definitely have a new book boyfriend in Corbin!!
There is so much more to Corbin than meets the eye and just when you think you know what kind of guy he is he switches it up and makes you fall for him all over again. How can you not love a reluctant hero that is just trying to live his life the best way he knows how while dealing with his own internal turmoil? Enter the lovable Olivia.
I think we girls can all agree we have done our own fair share of "stalking" in the name of love especially in the era of social media! How Olivia goes about attracting the attention of her object of desire will endear readers to her as she did me. I freaking love her and her quirkiness and I'm sure you will too!! And the steamy scenes... let's just say I am glad we got a cold front where I am from!
I can't think of any reason why you shouldn't read this book and why anyone might not like it. It's funny, it's hot, the story keeps you turning the pages and the characters are everything you can want when you are reading about two people finding their HEA! Logan does it again in that he has created a story that I want to read again and again and characters that I wish were real!

This was a lovely sassy sizzling hot and laugh out loud romantic comedy that would look great on a screen!
My first book by Logan Chance and I will be absolutely reading more!
Olivia is a sweet and sassy Kindergarten teacher with an obsession. An obsession by the name of Corbin Carmack. A fireman from the Hightower Hills Fire Rescue Station 99 - handsome, sexy and absolutely drool-worthy!!
The word stalker has nothing on Olivia as she tries to get close to her dream white knight. There's no limit to the stuff she does just to get a glimpse of her hero, including it would seem, setting her own house on fire.
She herself admits that she may be "deranged" because she's breaking laws and moral codes with no regret whatsoever because of a sick need to get closer to a total stranger. But she just can't help it! Corbin is so damn hot!!!
And she finally manages to get Corbin's attention. Though not as may have intended to. First of all, because of the first impression he seems to have made of her:
"The pyromaniac fondue girl. The pain in the ass - no pun - chick from the gym. I feel like I'm seeing you everywhere I go lately. You stalking me or something?"
and then because of the downright humiliating and absolutely hilarious way they keep meeting in!
I'm not going to spoil and tell you the particulars, but I'll bet you'll burst out laughing just as I did.
"Motherfiretrucker!" was Olivia's reaction. Because you do need to pay attention to your swearing when working in a Kindergarten. :D And I don't blame her a bit for it.
Naturally, because God is a really funny dude , as Olivia ruefully stated, things never go as planned and heroes you see on TV are nothing like the charming princes you want them to be.
Looks can be deceiving, and this firefighter is nothing like he portrays on social media. In fact, he’s much worse. He’s a cold hearted bastard and she hopes she never has to see him again.
But she does!
Despite his irritating personality, Olivia still wants him! And she wants him bad!
But does he want her? And what is he hiding under that cold-hearted bastard attitude?
This little read is perfect for those who want to get down and dirty. For those looking for hot, sexy, light and funny. It didn't get a 5 star rating from me because I found it a touch too light and lacking that punch of drama and anguish I always expect in a great romance. If you're not looking for those however and simply want to treat yourselves with an entertaining romantic comedy that will make you laugh out loud, this will be guaranteed a 5 star read for you.
So take a chance and give it a try! After all, some cold-hearted bastards are worth stalking! :D

That is what best describes Logan and his ability to captivate his audience. Like many, we have been waiting on Corbin and Olivia’s story and it does not disappoint! She’s such a quirky character with her obsessed nature, but only with good intentions. Then you’ve got Corbin with all the right words and actions of swoon-worthy hero.
I have to say, this is the first book where I’m loving the heroine a smidge more than our hero. Olivia is so much spunk and determination, coupled with compassion and love. Slightly misguided in her journey to get a man, totally fine...and somehow working for her. Olivia is my SHEro!
Absolutely love Corbin too! Honestly, who doesn’t love a dirty-mouthed firefighter?! The way he speaks with have you requesting someone put you out. This is absolutely one of my favorite reads all year. I laughed so hard out loud that I forgot where I was and had people look at me strangely. Let me just start off by saying once you get you started reading this book, you will NOT want to put it down.
Olivia Poppins is one funny, impetus woman who is on the crazy train and headed for disaster. Olivia is the I Love Lucy for the 21st century. She bound and determined to meet Corbin Carmack a firefighter who has now been dubbed a local hero after saving a baby from a burning building. She has him in her sights and is ready to do almost anything to catch his eye.
Corbin Carmack may be a hero in his hometown, he now finds himself in the limelight. All Corbin wants is his privacy and to keep his secrets. He finds himself attracted to this school teacher and finds himself yearning to be with her. I found Corbin Carmack extremely sexy and funny.

Yet another winner from Logan Chance.
From the first page I was completely engrossed with all the crazy that is Olivia. I mean, she is absolutely insane but utterly endearing. A kindergarten teacher, with a penchant for fun leggings, has a secret. She is sweet but with just enough sass to hold her own.
Corbin is the definition of FIRE. What you see is not always what you get. The golden boy hero has a secret and the crash and burn if found out is what he strives to protect as a firefighter. This man’s dirty mouth and “devil may care” attitude is perfect.
This book holds so many laugh out loud moments… I mean the discovery of a new planet had me holding my sides giggling through the end of the book.
Like so many of Logan’s books, he brings a bit of the unexpected along with steamy moments, and an unforgettable HEA.
This is definitely a book you need to one-click today.

This book is everything you want and more in a book by logan Chance. Olivia and Corbin are one of my favorite couples to date. Olivia is my spirit animal and Corbin well he is the epitome of what a book boyfriend should be.

At the opening of the story: we get a fresh take. FMC is a stalker with an unhealthy obsession over MMC: the hero fireman.
She burns her own house to get to meet him. Other than that interesting tidbit, there is nothing speacial about the developement. And he was not cold hearted by any means. He was actually swoony and a cinammon-roll!

Great read! It has a lot of the things I look for in a good book: humor, sass, sexy romance with a hot fireman to boot! As for the storyline, it’s very well written and flowed from start to finish. Kudos to the author for a wonderful read.

Holy Five Alarm Hotness!
Fantastic! Funny, witty, sexy and an overall 5 Star read.
Wow! Just Wow!
I'm going say it simply; I loved this book! For me, the laughter started on the very first pages. What an outrageous character Olivia was. While I was reading, goosebumps overcame me. Olivia was a character I connected with categorically, on a crazy, level. I might have done or thought of a few of the crazy things Olivia did during my teen years, just saying, lol. However, let me be clear....never have I set my kitchen on fire! :)
Corbin was an incredible hero. Was he a jerk as the title suggests? Maybe…. I'll tell you, once I got to know Corbin, which is pretty early on in the story, I didn't have a single negative opinion of him. In fact, it was Olivia I found myself frustrated with now and then but nothing too awful. You've obviously read the synopsis, so you can infer the premise very easily. I'm not going into details. This book is like a beautifully wrapped gift. As you peel away the layers, anticipating the surprise, your excitement will keep growing. As you read on, you'll love and appreciate that Olivia and Corbin got to know each other before intimacy. As silly as some of this story was to read, the plot and relationship development were believable.
Another great aspect of the author’s writing was the pace. Steady to fast; I couldn’t get to the happily-ever-after quick enough. Even better are the two epilogues. Still laughing!
I definitely recommend this book as a must read.

For a story titled Cold Hearted Bastard I was really expecting the main character to be, well, just that. Corbin is so much more than the title portrays him to be. Corbin is a smoking hot fireman who also happens to be one of the hottest TV stars around when his firehouse gets tapped for a reality TV show. The Corbin of reality TV is vastly different from the Corbin, as the kids say, IRL. I would describe him as emotionally unavailable. Then we have Olivia. She is quirky, funny, sweet and relatable. The chemistry between them was at 5 alarm fire status.
This might seem like an odd complaint, but I actually really like both characters. I would have liked to have seen a little bit more angst and meanness from Corbin given the CHB title of the book. He never had that moment for me where he was really a bastard that needed forgiveness. I was always in his corner and loved him from the start.

Well Corbin and Olivia's story starts off a little suspect if you ask me.
But is that where the appeal in the story lies?
I mean who wouldn't be flattered by someone willing to do something so crazy to meet them right?
Well turns out Olivia and Corbin will be spending more time together than originally intended because of the two of them filming fire rescue.
Is this good for Olivia and Corbin considering they both have secrets to hide? What happens when the skeletons come tumbling out the closet after their connection .
Is it possible to keep both their secrets hidden from the camera?
This book peaked my curiosity throughout the way little clues were given to keep you hanging on is good writing.
This book had many laugh out loud moments and lots of steamy chemistry.
