Harley - Life is great. I’m healthy and happy, enjoying every day with my sweet and sassy Finn by my side. Jake is graduating college and starting his new career, and in just a few weeks, Finn and I will be joined together as husbands. But it never fails that just when you least expect it, life will throw you a curve ball. However, no matter what we’re faced with - awkward run-ins with estranged family, painful memories, discrimination - I’m confident that Finn and I can get through the craziness together and find our way to our happily ever after.
*This is an angst-free, feel good book following Finn and Harley through their wedding and honeymoon. It contains laughter, sass, teeth-tingling sweetness, and of course lots of sexy moments between one of my favorite couples.
I live in rural Ohio with my husband and two sons who drive me nuts, but I love them with all my heart. I enjoy reading and writing romance of all types, but gay romance is my forte and favorite! Twice the sexy men? Yes, please! My books tend to be low angst because it hurts my heart, but they do contain lots of heartfelt moments, steamy scenes and a healthy dose of humor. Thank you to everyone for checking out my page and I hope you enjoy my books. Happy reading!
***** More than 5 stars for this continued romance from our terrific couple, Finn and Harley. We met them, with their starry-eyed love story in the first book, which led them to this book, about their upcoming wedding and honeymoon. Each could stand alone, but you don't want to miss their fantastic beginning. We see the fabulous, snarky, sassy but fierce Finn,
and devoted Harley, the wheelchair bound fiance. These two are destined, fated, and so perfect together. The pre-wedding fun is great, the cake tasting, the wedding is super memorable, and the luxurious honeymoon, which Finn planned to surprise his husband, his forever love.
The beach surprises, with sand football with big hunks is hilarious, and exotic snorkeling, too. Every step of the way, we see the passion, true emotions, reactions, and joy our men have for life and each other. I love Finn's full on freshness and love of life,
and Harley's appreciation for getting to share so much with his partner and husband. The side characters are fun, especially cousin Jack. We see tender moments with Harley'd Dad, and we are so full of anticipation for each adventure.
The explanations and descriptions of the handicapped world, serve to help us understand a new point of view, and how much harm the rude, selfish people can cause. It doesn't detract from the story, because it truly enhances the experience we get with our men.
4.5/5. Highlights may contain spoilers. Read at your own risk.

The sequel to the original Head Over Wheels was quite adorable and sweet. While we cover a lot of the same elements of the first, I just loved Finn and Harley so much I didn't mind it.
I think my favorite parts of this book was the rekindling of the relationship between Harley and his father, and the discussion on grief that was had during those important moments. Absolutely lovely. There is some cute moments under the sun, such as what it is like to go snorkeling when someone uses a mobility aid. The way these two take care of each other is just so sweet and amazing. Plus, so many cuddles.
There are more Jake and Miles moments that are leading up to the third book in the series, so I am definitely curious where that relationship will go. It's cute seeing through the eyes of Harley how much these two are falling for each other and how this fleshes out the friend group. Also within this book is the sort of "epic takedowns" that Finn does and while it's part and parcel of his character, I'm just glad there are less of them than the first.
The wedding was so so sweet, and if you liked the first book, I definitely recommend reading this one too.
“You make me want to experience everything together; to live life without limits. You make me feel like I can do anything.”
All the heartwarming, feel good and sweet moments. I adore Harley & Finn, enjoyed seeing more of their future together. They just make me smile, its fast paced and makes for easy reading.
These two are so wonderful and can't help loving their romance, its very fluffy and sweet which is perfect for me. Organising the wedding, reuniting family and a beautiful honeymoon together.
I loved the hair braids, beach scenes, photos, sport and snorkeling. All of the planning and thoughtful moments between them, so much to admire while see their love grow. Some steamy scenes too, which were great and their usual fun.
Look forward to reading the next book for Jake and Miles, can't wait to see their story! Overall an entertaining story full of heart and a happily ever after 💕
In book two, we follow Harley and Finn as they plan for their wedding and honeymoon, as well as the bond strengthening between Harley and his dad.
Finn wants to give Harley a perfect wedding and honeymoon. He find out there are still bigots out there from people he'd never suspect, to people he assumed might be bigots but end up being the nicest people!
Finn's spunky, firecracker mouth had me again, laughing though out the book. I've known people like Finn. I love how the author keeps it real.
This one will join the first book in my re-read for life pile. I love both Finn and Harley dearly and I can't wait for Jake's book!! Please keep writing amazing books, Jayda Marx!!
Loved this as much as the first book!!!! 😭 I can never get enough of Finn and his super awesome personality. Bless Harley's heart. Never a dull moment with these two!!!! 💕💕💕
Harley's and Finn are my favorite Jayda Marx couple. I loved getting to reconnect with them and catchup on their lives. The secondary characters of Jake, Miles, Dwayne (Harley's dad) are just as sweet. Can't wait to read Kake and Miles story. Thanks for such a great story.
This story was so adorable. I loved Finn and Harley and their story. I wish I could read more. I'm looking forward to reading Jake and Miles' story because it's going to be super cute.
Reread 12/20: This book was just as cute as the first time I read it. Absolutely adore Finn and Harley.
“Oh, fuck yes! Harley, feed me another bite while you pinch my nipple and swear to god, I’ll cream my jeans.” - Finn
*Disclaimer*: Yeah, I started this with this quote for a reason. This was in public and he probably would have let Harley do it. Just wanted you to know how outrageous Finn is and we wouldn’t want him any other way.

This story is a continuation of Finn & Harley’s story. We begin where the previous ended, getting this ready for the wedding. We get to see their wedding and honeymoon in Florida. As he was in the previous book, Finn is sweet, sassy, and all about his man Harley. Here, Harley has a lot more confidence in himself when it comes to Finn and his love and he follows his lead and is going along for the ride (no pun intended). Jake gets put in awkward situations and we get to see something starting with little Miles??? Harley and his dad reconnect thanks to Finn and Finn gets a new family. This was a nice set up to the last two books, but don’t worry, Finn will be there!! You should read book 1 to really understand how everything and everyone came to be. Also, I normally skip over the mega gooey lovey dovey speeches because they’re so cheesy, even for me. But this one? During the wedding/reception? I cried like a little bitch and I am not ashamed. <3

See Below for Review of Book 1 (Need to Read #1 to Appreciate #2:
Harley is a 26 year old cis white gay man. He’s muscular and fit with long dark hair. He does graphic design for work, and works from home. He’s wealthy. He uses a wheelchair. He’s kind of quiet. He appreciates how open and unashamed Finn is about everything. He’s very in love with Finn and supportive of him.
Finn is a 23 year old cis white gay man. He’s small and kind of a twink. He’s a hairdresser. He’s outgoing and tends to be fairly loud. He’s very sassy. In the first book he was eager to learn about Harley, including what he needs with his disability. In this book he’s as familiar with Harley’s needs and routine as another person can be, and is happy to be involved. He’s very in love with Harley and supportive of him.
I like that this book doesn’t shy away from some of the less sexy aspects of sex and prepping, being disabled, being gay, being a person in general.
I liked that it’s a fluffy book with little angst. Sometimes it can be a bit samey feeling through the whole book, but sometimes that fluffy samey thing is just that you need after a high angst read.
Negatives: —Using food descriptors to describe the skin of the lone Black man in the book. That’s a pretty universal “absolutely not” for white authors to do with Black and brown characters. —Too much chuckling. The word “chuckled” was used nearly 50 times, that’s almost once every other page. —Did not break dialogue paragraphs correctly (makes it confusing and like someone else started talking)
Content warnings and tropes: —Homophobia —Ableism —explicit sex scenes (only a couple) —wedding —honeymoon —established couple —size difference —outgoing/sassy x quiet —gay man x gay man —high fluff, low angst
Other: —first person single POV (Harley) —cheating: no —romantic rivals: no —breakup: no —kids: no (they never want kids) —sexual roles: Harley tops and Finn bottoms. They tend to vary with who is more “in charge” in bed, when they feel like doing that —HEA: yes
Ok, I thought the first book was great but this one might have topped it - slightly! Harley and Finn are easily two of my all-time favorite couples and I loved this extension of their story from the first book. We get to see a little more of their extended family and how much love they all have for each other. Finn is literally my hero! His unabashedly fierce spirit and zest for life is rivaled only by his innate ability to accept people for who they are, no matter what their physical size or shape or ability. The world definitely needs to adopt more of Finn's attitude and I loved reading about how easily he accepts Harley and doesn't think twice about making accommodations for his man. I'm very eager to read about Miles and Jake in the next book and I honestly can't recommend this series more! Fantastic!
Just finished the second book I this delightful series and am eagerly awaiting the third. Harley and Finn are a match made in heaven. Their friendship, relationship and interactions are sweet and often times lol humorous. Finn is a hoot. There were so many times I laughed out loud at the antics or verbal ramblings that came out of Finn's cache of praise to those he liked, or the righteous dressing down to those bigots who dared belittle Harley or his friends. He is a loyal and always truthful little spitfire. Nothing, and I mean nothing, embarrasses him. He says what he thinks and doesn't let anyone walk over him or those he loves. Harley is one lucky guy to have found him. Actually, they're both lucky in that respect. Soul mates.
Jayda just draws you in. Each of her characters have such a depth and always a different personality. Sometimes you read multiple books from a same author and although good the stories are all very samey. This just isn’t the case with Jayda, each series is so different yet pulls you in with characters that love hard, characters with different pasta/trials. It’s just a real pleasure to escape into her worlds.
I love Harley and Finn - as someone with heath issues I always love to see characters with challenges find their HEA and loved this addition. Seeing Dwayne was great and I can’t wait to see Jake and Miles.
I loved this book. This story of Harley and Finn as they get married and have their honeymoon. As a disabled person, though I don't need a wheelchair, I truly appreciated how Harley's life requires adjustments and how Finn accepted him and looked out for him. Daily every day situations can be difficult to manage when you are disabled and to see the honesty of that in this story meant a lot to me. Thank you Jayda Marx.
Book 2 in the Head Over Wheels series and it was just as much fun to read as the first one. Funny, sweet, and just so darned cute Finn and Harley have the wedding they wanted and a glorious honeymoon in Florida. Like the last book, this is slightly sappy but oh so much fun, especially with Finn's sassy, snarky mouth. The appearance of Harley's long absent Father was touching, the cake tasting was fun, the bigots they encountered now and then were sad but, unfortunately, so true to real life.
It was nice to return to the fluffy, warm world of Finn and Harley. This story continues where the last one left off and tells of their wedding and honeymoon. It's sweet and wonderful, maybe even a little bit too syrapy for my taste, everything is so great and everyone is so sweet that it feels very unreal. I was ready for the steam too, but woah this book was steamy. It was a really nice, lovely, hot and fluff-filled story, a book that is sure to make you smile.
I love that Jayda writes about a disabled person as a person first and his disability is just part of his life that he deals with. I'm glad we get the wedding this time. They need to get Finn working with kids somehow. Guess the dog comes in book 3.
I loved catching up with Harley and Finn again. This was the story of their wedding and honeymoon and it was just as expected...a sugary sweet, romantic love fest! Now I cannot wait for Jake and Mile's story!
Harley and Finn continue their story in Book 2 of Head Over Wheels. They are now engaged and planning their wedding. What a wonderful and amazing wedding for both men! Their honeymoon was wonderful and the conclusion was well-written with a hint about Harley's cousin, Jake, getting his own story:)
This book had me laughing so much throughout this story. Finn and Harley were terrific. Some of Finn’s sayings were out of this world crazy. Everyone should have a Finn of their own. Easy 5 🌟 from me
I listened to books 1 and 2 in audio. They're fun and ridiculous and completely OTT. Every character is either all amazing or completely horrible with no in between. As long as you realize that going in, I think they're enjoyable.
I'm always yelling at characters that they need to talk to each other... But what if this is what happens when they do? They become sweet and understanding and there is just no conflict or angst? I've realised I just can't deal with that either. I'm really sorry, but it's a no from me dawg.
This was a wonderful conclusion to Finn and Harley’s true love story. Like book 1, this book is all the feel goods. It’s sweet and swoony with that perfect amount of spice.
